Daisy Grace | 2 | 1 | 7 | 1 | 1 + 5 (bonus) | 8
As the light grew, Daisy was able to stumble up to her feet. Watching in amazement as the air seemed to fill with talismans, she felt her eyes widen to see the effect they had on the beast. The darkness and the trees, hell, even the monster all seemed to shrink.
But before she could really consider what this all might mean, her own talisman leapt from her hand to fly at the monster, seeming to hit it before hovering close.
Like some weird force field, she thought as she watched. And while she was no expert (how could anyone be?), she thought that the little pieces of glowing metal were hurting the monster. And she couldn't find it in herself to feel bad about that at all.

Civilian Alex - 4 + 4 + 3 + 7 + 6Makeup: Roll 5 Darkness. There was only darkness, and Alex could feel the panic well up in her belly. Where was Lawrence, and the girls? Was this it? Further and further, she felt herself pushed. And then, soft, like stars or candles in the night, lights began to shine all over. Whatever was making them, Alex didn't have, but they were a sign. A comfort. And so the woman who held Kildare in her blood continued to push back, letting out a noise of rage that could be likened to a mother bear.

Lawrence Dunn - Civilian - 5 +2 + 1 * Cherish and Yolie are not engaging the monster and as such are not rolling unless Lawrence is KO'd.
Lawrence shifted to blocking entirely a moment, offering Alex an arm up. As this pressed on, things changed. Grew. Evolved; the man's jaw was squared and he wasn't frightened. He'd rather challenge the thing and live another day than die. Especially with his daughter here. His free hand clenched down on the handaxe, and the man exhaled slowly, managing to stand, casually ducking aroiund the beast's strikes with a cold look.
Snort.
"Really, size? The higher it goes the further trhe claws." Lawtrence observed.
"Doesn't helpo the air bursts Dad!" Cherish resp[oinded swiftly, stumbling slightly as sahe tried to keep balance. She'd lovew to henshin right now, to throw Limosa's magic after the mopnster, but she settled for evasion, dancing a bit atround things whiule she side eyed Yolie, frowning. That girl was too used to this, seriously.
Yolie weas sus.
The blonde, for her part, locked her blue eyes with the beast, mind taking an odd mix of dancing around blows from killing youma, and then she was used to the outdoors as well. She dug her heels in and lety hewwrself shift to keepo balance, squinting againts the bursts of air, hissing low and cold and angry at the monster, fingers twitcvhing. She wantyed to kill it, to rend it to pieces, but Lawrtence had the Hand axe and she didn't. But she waSN'T SCARED -- SHE WAS MORE CONFUSED AS TO WHY cHERISH WAS LOOKING AT HER STRANGELY. sNORT.

Civilian Alex - 4 + 4 + 3 + 7 + 6 + 2Alex couldn't say she had any idea what was going on. But she wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. After a quick look to make sure Lawrence, Cherish, and Yolanda were all right, she joined in the final push against the monster. She wanted to go home. She wanted her cafe, and her children, and her furchildren. She wanted to be Kildare again, to feel that steadiness in her feet once more. And no monster was going to stop her.

Lawrence Dunn - Civilian - 5 +2 +1 + 8 Filling in laterunless Lawrence is KO'd.
Lawrence was having nonep/i] of this monster's dog s**t. Once assured the others were alright, he spun his hasnd axe once in hand, and moved suddenly, lunging for the monster to bring a proper strike against the beast. Frankly, he was tired and annoyed and fairly sure that it had harmed one of the girls, aside knocking Alex around, abd as such he was Done With This s**t, the axe slamming, sharp end first, into the monster roughly. His patience, iut was not present anymore.
Cherish blinked, watching her father lunge for the monster, holding back. Admittedly she wanted to help, which meant fighting, but.. She was unarmed and wagered a civilian wiuthout weapon might be easier oprey -- ok, most. She eryed Yolie again, and fdrowned. Yolie might be capable of doing damage, but instead the other blonde yanked her away from the fight to evade the last thrashings of the Thing, and Cheriush squeaked abruptly, blinking.
Yolie was tracking the thing with her eyes, following movements before ytanking Cheriush from harm's wayt and shifting to dodge a strike herself. There was a final push, but Yolie was more focused on survivAL and defense, tracking the monster with her eyes as she moved. For once... She was not only glad to be Dubhe but also related to her cousins, whom were rough play adsvocates growing up and still roughhoused with her -- sometimes, without hwer asking or wanting it. She hissed faintly, and then remained evasive. Surely, surely it was almost dead!

Chibi Super Lepus | Roll 6
This was it, then- their last stand, both the monster's and the assembled group. Well, it was too bad for the monster, but Lepus wasn't going to be the one losing today, not that she ever lost any fight she ever got into, of course. Even as the big bad forest creature pulled out all the stops in a last-ditch effort at stopping them, Lepus was filled with a newfound confidence that this would be it, and they'd all be going home very soon now.
Especially once the strange metal pieces that had been lying around in the town started to fly out of everyone's hands and started striking their captor.
"Yeah! Take that!" Lepus crowed, not caring too much for the hows and whys of what was happening, other than that this was definitely going to end with their freedom.

The fact not one, but two bits of metal went flying from her, still tied to the pieces of fabric from Athalia's uniform, should haven't made her laugh. But it did.

Realta | 5 Roll 6
There was, for a brief moment, a sense of pity for the creature. It was so intent on keeping them there. Against their will, mind. She felt pity for it, but it did not keep her from sending out another beam of light from her star, furious at it and its behavior. Was it trapped like them? Then perhaps they could find a way to free it.
...unless the odd metal bits didn't rip it to pieces, first.

Captain Seraphinite | 4 Roll 6
Seraphinite panted, leaning heavily on one of his swords as he knelt on the ground briefly. His fear was dissipating, but so was his energy with it. Gritting his teeth, he pushed himself back to his feet and even as the thing howled and cried, he slashed towards any vital point he could think of.
This needed to just end already.

Corrupt Rigel of the Eldritch | 3 Roll 6
Rigel sighed, his blue eyes distant as he watched the creature stretch itself out, fan out its feathers. Trying to look intimidating. Looking... sad. A beautiful monster it was, it was at its limits. Tragic. He watched with annoyance as bits of metal began to whip out from around people to hover around the creature, slicing it and hovering around it. Things that annoyed it. But each time it tried to slash at them, it only gave opportunities for others to attack it.
The Senshi of the Eldritch frowned, watching with as close to a broken heart as he'd experienced since corrupting. Such a sad, sad end to such a terrible, wonderful creature.

[Aimee Lacroix, Civilian || Prompt 6]
As the darkness retreated before her talismans, Aimee stood back up on her feet. This was what it was, she thought, to fight and win. To stand before a horror--perhaps not quite from beyond the stars, but certainly from beyond mortal understanding--and push it back.
This was what it meant to be strong.
Watching the shards fly from other people and from the ground towards the beast, she grinned. She didn't have one of those, but she could move and pick up another improvised weapon--a hefty fragment of wood--and hurl it directly at the thing's chest, like some kind of spear.
They were going to kill this thing. Aimee believed that with her whole heart.
