▰ Character: Zeus ▰ Link to profile: [x] ▰ Ancient Raiton: Lightning Bolt Spear | Rank B-S+ | Raiton Ninjutsu Keystone | Spiritual Zeus creates a spear made of lightning which he can hold in his hand, the spear is thin and crackles with lightning. It is 6 feet long. When this spear is used for bukijutsu the technique is treated as spiritual.
The spear can be thrown for projectile attacks, when it is thrown the spear leaves a trail of lightning behind it, mostly aesthetic however touching it is harmful, dealing damage to those who touch it. The trail of lightning lasts until the spear collides with something. When the spear collides with something the trail of lightning quickly travels forwards into the spear and causes the spear to release an AOE explosion of lightning, unless it is overpowered by another technique.
While the spear is not in Zeus' hand, for the duration of this technique he may call the spear back to his hand from anywhere within the projectile range of the technique, or may create a new spear by making the original disappear. This can only be done as long as the original spear made was not destroyed by another technique.

Technique Flavor: A technique designed by Zeus, who is an ancient being capable of using chakra. The technique was originally taught to others capable of using lightning chakra, however it seems the technique has been lost to time making it's originator, Zeus, the last remaining person capable of using it. Few techniques have come close to replicating this technique, however none of them are perfect iterations of this technique.

I’ll hit you up about this one, I will say i didn’t have it cause grapple weirdly as it’s just her clamping onto you. Hence punching her off is very viable XD, I do understand that multiple poisons do not get applied at once unless a technique or ability says otherwise, the idea with the two stacks was she’s gonna apply a stack through contact with this technique due to sage mode so I just doubled it up. But again I’ll message you about this one after my dinner.

Keystone: One Thousand Healing Swords [ Sen no Iyashino Ken ] I ******** love this keystone. The concept is great and exactly what we hope people make for their characters, something thematic and interesting and 'signature' to the character. However, "by paying half of the performed Iryojutsu technique's resource" is reducing jutsu cost so it's not allowed. Remove that and you're fine.

The rank of your weapon determines its durability to use bukijutsu with. We'd like this text removed.
We're not comfortable with maximum duration for a technique with this range that can be recreated for no cost so long as the spear isn't destroyed and can be called back within a subforum's range. Brooy suggested 14 as the upward limit.
You can keep the projectile range but keep in mind that without doujutsu, it's not possible to naturally hit things you're aiming at threads away. There's the Hunter's Eye technique that only the thread below or above your current but you're entitled to keep the subforum projectile range if that's what you want.
The note about the spear leaving a harmful trail needs clarification. How long does this trail last and what is the harm? What rank and is it applying a status effect or just damage?

Clarified that the trail of lightning just does damage when it's touched. Also added a bit of aesthetic flare to it to give it a bit more purpose. The trail now flows into the spear when it collides with something and that is basically the "cause" of the lightning explosion.
As for the Dojutsu, range, and accuracy thing that's fine. I mean I expect if I have a range I can pick a general location and aim it there and it hit but not really like see a tiny blip of a person subforums away and expect to perfectly aim anyways, most likely gonna pick up scholar as his third class for sensory abilities and maybe augment it to be more accurate at longer ranges or something like that. - Also if you don't mind my input, I'd recommend looking into changing the descriptions of some of the spiritual weapon techniques. Idk if the other ones state anything, but I know Tool Creation states "Weapon's Strength" and I don't personally attribute something's strength to being it's durability. Or just putting in the technique information somewhere a blurp mentioning that ninjutsu/spiritual weapons ranks are their durability not the damage they deal.
Another thing is as far as having issues with techniques using all their possible maxes, I'd recommend if you're looking to avoid that add in the guidelines that when making customs people should choose one thing to be "max possible" and make other things lesser than max. I understand that all techniques are approved on case by case basis, but if you guys are going to have issues with techniques even if they're within the guidelines and use the case by case basis thing as an out to pend/deny things then it's probably best to limit it more than what it currently is. - I also have a question regarding spiritual weapon durability, if my spiritual weapon collides with a jutsu of equal rank does that mean my weapon is destroyed? Never been sure how that works.

I don't think anyone else has had an issue with tool creation - if S+ techniques could make any D rank technique do S+ damage, we'd have a problem on our hands. But yes, rank determines durability. To your question of collision, I believe if it's colliding with another spiritual technique of the same rank, it is destroyed, otherwise it should function with the collision rank difference of simple/complex in mind. Other mods are welcome to correct me if that's wrong.
If you don't mind, it'd be appreciated if future suggestions were in the thread for it. It's easier to find when the mod team discusses them and it's better to address them there than everywhere in the guild. That said, I'm not making that correction to the guidelines because it's not necessarily true. A custom sensory technique would likely be able to max out those guidelines. The guidelines are guidelines and not auto-approve boundaries because anyone could have overpowered S+ keystones if they maxed out status effect, duration, range, etc. Generally, people operate within the guidelines as they think is sensible and if moderators disagree than the adjustments are made; you're welcome to swing for the fences and choose the maximum permittable for all of your submissions and if they're not acceptable then the negotiation for edits begins.
If we edited the guideline for all the common sense notes or disclaimers or more likely candidates for achieving things, the guidelines would be a manuscript. I don't appreciate the implications of you saying we "use the case by case basis thing as an out to pend/deny things" because it's not an out at all. A sensory technique is less likely to be overpowered at max range and duration than a destructive ninjutsu technique. We're not going to establish new maximums or other guidelines by technique type (for the same manuscript problem). You're welcome to appeal changes you don't agree with but things are case by case because they have to be, because custom techniques and keystones have more leeway for creative freedom than any other type of custom in the guild, and we have to be more careful about what things we think will be abused and what seems balanced based on what is currently in the guild. With that said, Brooy is also cool with the edits made so you're approved for this submission.

▰ Separation of Concepts | Rank S+ | Yin Release | Spiritual This is a technique that uses the basis of Yin Release, it's ability to control imagination, to accomplish it's effects. The user of this technique physically touches their target's head with their hand, then uses this technique in order to interact with unknown forces that lie within everyone. The user may then remove these forces, concepts within a person such as a person's knowledge of how speech works, understanding of colors, and various other things that could alter how a person perceives the world around them or how they function.
These concepts may be placed within other physical objects, including other people which could do things such as grant sight to the blind, the ability to speak to the mute, and other unique effects. It can even give semi-sentience to inanimate objects, such as giving the ability to speak to a sword or even a pot. Typically, a single concept is not enough to make a fully sentient being however, and only one concept can be removed at a time per use of this technique.
There is an exception to this rule, in some situations people may have extremely strong emotions or feelings that can take on minds of their own when removed from a person or even have what is essentially an entire other person inside their mind. In these situations removing the strong emotion or other person from a person's mind frees them from that person, and placing this strong sense of emotion or feeling or other person into an object or living body effectively can afford an entire personality upon that object or body.
Due to the nature of this technique it is considered a purely narrative technique. It can not be used for combat purposes, and those who wish to be unaffected by it simply say they are unaffected by it, with the explanation being that "Their will was too strong."
▰ Creation of Forms | Rank X | Yin Release | Spiritual This is a technique that uses the basis of Yin Release, it's ability to create form out of nothingness. This technique itself is simple, in that it creates objects that the user wishes to create out of nothingness. The objects this technique creates are always basic forms of that object, creating weaponry makes basic versions of them usable in the same manner one may use a plain sword or dagger. Items created may be up to 5 feet in any dimension regardless of the rank of this technique used with a single exception. The number of items this can create is based on the rank of this technique, beginning at creating 1 basic object at E Rank to creating 7 at S+. To create something from nothing there must be space to create it, as such this technique can not be used in space occupied by something such as another object, or the human body. Creations however can be made anywhere within 10 feet of the user.
As mentioned before, there is a single exception to the 5 feet rule, at S+ the user of this technique may create a physical body such as that of an animal, yokai, monster, or human. The size of this physical body depends on what is being made. Humans may be made to be up to 8 feet tall, with normal human proportions, Animals may be made to be up to 50 feet in their given height length and proportional to that size based on the animal, Yokai and Monsters may be made to be up to 100 feet in given height length and also proportional based on the yokai or monster. The physical body is functioning, but is effectively no different from an inanimate object when initially created. It can be given sentience via Separation of Concepts, but even then it is not living.
The creation of a body is meant to be used as a narrative tool, as such that effect of this technique is unable to be used in combat, nor is it able to be used to initiate combat in anyway, or used to cause some form of harm to another character unless permission has been expressly given for it to do so.
▰ Protection from that which is Fictitious | Rank X | Yin Release | Spiritual This technique uses Yin Release's control of imagination. The user places a figurative tripwire in the mind of it's target or on themselves. This tripwire activates when the person affected by this technique has some form of mind altering effect applied to them directly. Genjutsu that create images that everyone can see would not be affected by this for example. This technique properly activates, triggering the trap set by it's user and causes the mind altering effect to backfire. This backfire causes pain akin to the user having taken damage from an attack based on the rank of this technique, however causes no actual physical damage. The pain caused by this lasts 1 post per rank of the technique used.
▰ Inversion of Emotions that Dwell Within | Rank X | Yin Release| Spiritual This technique uses Yin Release's control of imagination. The user of this technique releases a wave of chakra from their person into the area around them. Anyone hit by this wave of chakra has their current emotional state inverted. Due to the vague nature of emotions, the inversion of emotions is dictated by the rper reasonably. Typically it will do things like turn fear or doubt into confidence, turn rage into calm, and so on and so forth. This emotional state lasts 2 posts per rank of the technique used. How the emotional state affects a character is also up to the rper reasonably.
Due to Yamanaka having a more specialized version of this type of jutsu, and Miyamoto's similar abilities to this type of jutsu Yamanaka and Miyamoto are completely immune to this jutsu.
Kai can be used to disable this technique's effect as if it were a genjutsu.
▰ The Infinite Space Between Us| Rank S+ | Yin Release | Spiritual This technique uses Yin Release's ability to create form out of nothingness in...a very different and unique way. The user of this technique uses their chakra in a space around their body, and close to their body. This space is then expanded infinitely within itself, creating an unpassable barrier around the user's body much like an armor. Objects and Jutsu that attempt to pass through this barrier travel until they dissipate or would stop moving through this infinite space and seem to practically disappear. When this technique is released, objects fall to the ground around the area they entered the infinitely expanding space.
Living Bodies interact with the space as if they are simply unable to pass the barrier instead of travelling through the infinitely expanding space. Spiritual Jutsu of S+ Rank collide with the infinite space barrier as if it were normal ninjutsu armor, the armor fades after the collision. S+ Overwhelming Jutsu shatter the infinite space completely. This technique lasts up to 5 posts.
▰ Enhancing of the Body's Natural Abilities | Rank S+ | Yang Release | Spiritual (Costs Stamina) This technique uses the Yang Release's ability to control vitality. The user of this technique places their hand on their target. The then use their physical energy to force the body of the target into a state where the body's natural healing ability is accelerated. This causes the target to heal any injuries they may have that the body would naturally heal overtime. This costs 1 activation from the user and 1 from the target.
▰ Permanence | Rank S+ | Yang Release | Spiritual (Costs Stamina) This technique uses Yang Release's abilities to control vitality and to grant life to forms that have none. The user of this technique must set the technique up prior to the moment that may trigger it's effect. This technique may be used on the self or on a target the user is touching. After it's use, the person under this technique's affects find themselves capable of surviving a fatal moment in their life. The person affected by this technique dies, however this technique rebinds the person's soul to them and heals their fatal wound. Uses 2 activations, and the turn this happens the affected person can not use their 3rd activation for an attack.
▰ Growth of the Forces of Life | Rank S+ | Yang Release| Spiritual (Costs Stamina) This technique uses Yang Release's ability to grant life to forms that have none. The user....grants life to a form present around them that did not originally have life. This does not bring the dead back to life, however it can give things such as inanimate objects basic life-like feelings. It does not give these things true sentience however. This technique is meant to typically be used in conjunction with Creation of Forms to give the body created life.
This technique is primarily meant to be used as a narrative tool. However can be used in combat for purposes of big funnies such as making a sword feel pain, albiet unable to express it.
▰ Rejection of One's Basic Human Needs | Rank E | Yang Release | Simple This technique uses Yang Release's ability to control vitality. The user of this technique uses physical energy to an affected person, including themselves should they wish, the necessities of life through energy alone. When used the affected persons find themselves revitalized as if they had slept, eaten, drunk water, and whatever other necessary and basic thing would be affect allowing them to live.
▰ To Force Age Upon That Which is Young | Rank S+ | Yang Release | Spiritual (Costs Stamina) This technique uses Yang Release's ability to control vitality. The user of this technique uses physical energy to drain vitality directly from a person which they come into contact with. Doing so causes their affected body part to rapidly age until it can no longer age. This lasts for 7 posts. This affect functions like Tier 2 Paralysis. (Unless I can make it Tier 4, if I can let me know if not then oh well.)
▰ Expansion of Universal Forms | Rank S+ | Yin-Yang Release | Spiritual (Costs Stamina and Chakra) This technique utilizes all aspects of Yin-Yang Release. The user uses their physical and spiritual energy in order to expand reality without affecting the natural order of the world. This is used in situations such as expanding a small room in a house into a large forest. In the example, the inside of the room would be a forest, while the outside world would continue to see the room as small as it would normally be.
This technique is a narrative tool, and as such can only be used outside of combat. This technique can not be used to create areas that may be outside of the guild's residency or shop rules, or for gathering materials that the user or others may need.
▰ To Bring That Which is in my Mind to Reality | Rank S+ | Yin-Yang Release | Spiritual (Costs Stamina and Chakra) This technique utilizes all aspects of Yin-Yang Release to accomplish it's effects. The user uses their spiritual and physical energy in order to pull their inner world into reality. This turns a 200 foot area around the user into a portion of their inner mental world. Due to the nature of mental worlds, this can be changed every different situation this is used in.
In combat, this is used to temporarily change the terrain, often to one that is more favorable for the user of this technique to fight in. The terrain change lasts the duration of combat before fading away and turning back into normal. This costs Stamina and Chakra as if it were a Complex Technique due to the nature of Yin-Yang Release.
Outside of Combat, this can be used the turn an area in reality permanently into a portion of the user's mental world. Doing so requires the user to use an S+ Rank amount of both Chakra and Stamina. This permanent change is still merely something that is effectively aesthetic or decoration. The user may only have one portion of reality permanently created from their mental world, as such doing this again elsewhere causes the other portion to disappear.
▰ Domain of the Flying Thunder God | Rank S+ | Yin-Yang Release/Uzumaki/Fuuinjutsu | Spiritual (Costs Stamina and Chakra) This technique utilizes primarily facets from Yin Release. The user enhancing a Flying Thunder God seal with Spiritual and Physical Energy utilizing Yin-Yang Release. This enhancement expands the area around the seal which one is capable of using Flying Thunder God from the immediate area around the seal to 200 Feet around the seal. This allows the creator of the seal to activate Flying Thunder God to appear anywhere within the 200 Foot Radial domain of the seal. While active, he can see and interact with things such as Kamui if it had been used within the 200 foot domain of Flying Thunder God. Use of Flying Thunder God remains completely normal aside from the range around the seal that can be travelled to.
Note: A rework/resubmission of all of Iksin's Yin, Yang, and Yin-Yang Customs, primarily due to me changing him off Human Sage in favor of giving Human Sage to a different character of mine. As such a lot of them needed to have the Sage Art parts removed.
Also, attempting to bring them more in line with the basic description of their given releases following these statements.
Yang Release uses physical energy to control vitality, granting life to forms that have none.
Yin Release uses spiritual energy to control imagination, creating form out of nothingness.
And Yin-Yang Release being the combination of both.

Stage One
▰ Through the Ringer | Rank E | Training Not releasing all of the windmill shuriken's blades, leaving all four stacked under one blade, the user grips the center ring and wields the shuriken like a sword or knife. This isn't an ideal use for a projectile, but the size and durability of these shuriken permit the substitution of windmill shurikens solely in this form (not with all blades spread out) to be utilized for most sword or knife styles.
▰ First Star Strike | Rank X | Simple Utilizing the windmill shuriken with all of its blades in the stacked 'first' position, the user swings the shuriken in front of them.
Stage Two
▰ Scissor Blades | Rank X | Simple Unleashing only the second blade, the windmill shuriken is jabbed at the opponent with the intent of pinching them or a targeted object like their weapon between the blades in a scissor-like manner. The user can flick their wrist to try and close the blades together back to the first position to cut the opponent or trap the weapon.
▰ Boomerang Throw | Rank X | Simple The user unleashes all blades and throws the shuriken outwards. The blade may miss the opponent the first time but returns to the user unless the shuriken is attacked or disrupted itself. At B-rank usage and above, this technique acts as if used with [2] more speed for collision.
Stage Three
▰ Windmill Creation | Rank C-S+ | Spiritual This technique is similar to the maruton tool creation except it solely creates windmill shurikens. Due to its specialty in this area, weapons crafted this way may inflict T1 trauma in addition to its normal status effects (if applicable) or may inflict one tier higher trauma up to T4 if the technique in question innately inflicts trauma. As a spiritual technique, these shurikens can withstand being used in simple techniques two ranks above or complex techniques one rank above. Simple techniques used with these spiritual windmills are treated as complex for collision.
▰ Windmill Shuriken Momentum | Rank C | Training When blocked, the windmill shuriken always returns to the user unless otherwise stated when it is thrown. If dodged, it always returns. If attacked or disrupted otherwise, the shuriken does not return.
Stage Four
▰ Follower | Rank X | Complex The windmill is thrown at the opponent; an elemental chakra copy of the weapon follows five feet behind the first. If the first weapon is blocked, the second follows and, while still blocked by the first attack if the block was used at the rank of this technique, the second still inflicts status as appropriate [E-C/B-S+].
▰ Deception | Rank X | Augment This technique augments any technique where the windmill shuriken is thrown. A copy follows it (not adding an additional copy to a technique that already includes one) but turns into a clone of Kai within five feet of the opponent. The cost of this technique is equivalent to the clone technique chosen. For collision purposes, like all augments, the cost of this technique must be added to the augmented one for defending but does not require any additional activation to deal with.
Stage Five
▰ Big Toss | Rank A | Simple Throwing the shuriken with a long-armed swing, the shuriken inflicts blowback by [25] feet even if blocked (unless shield is unattached to the user, in which case the shuriken simply returns to the user).
▰ Fiercest Blades | Rank X | Augment Allows the windmill shuriken to be augmented by a chakra type of the user's choosing for its cost but no activation, or a poison for no cost and a supplementary activation.
Stage Six
▰ Pinball Toss | Rank S-S+ | Complex Throwing the shuriken after unevenly applying chakra to it, the user enables the shuriken to change direction as pre-determined by the time they toss it. The shuriken moves unpredictably (by the opponent's perspective) and negates the enemy's agility stat as such. This technique can be extended by two more posts by paying two ranks below its cost for upkeep [the windmill shuriken can still be attacked/disrupted directly which stops its movement].
▰ Yo-Yo Toss | Rank B-S+ | Complex Using string or chakra strings (created solely for this technique and razor thin, not to be mistaken with puppeteer strings), the user throws the blade and is able to continue redirecting it and attacking the opponent with it by paying two ranks below of upkeep.
