Julian WhiteThe hissing and screeching of the positively giant spiders was more than enough to make Julian's eyes go wide with fear. Even if he could power up, he wasn't sure if these were youma or not. Were there people inside these spiders? How did they get here? How could this have happened when nobody noticed? Too many questions, too few answers, far too much panic. With Roddy right behind, Julian headed straight into the maze, not appreciating the Halloween decorations whatsoever. The screaming and panic in the air fed into his anxiety and it showed in his inability to run properly. The more upset Julian was, the more likely he was to roll and ankle or trip, momentarily forgetting how to run as a human. His ankles and knees didn't work like they used to... Rounding a corner, the young man was met with a screeching spider, though it seemed more interested in someone else than Julian specifically. Still, his foot found one of its long and spindly legs, tripping right over it and skidding into the grass. His brown bear costume was now streaked and stained green, though that was the least of his concerns. "Roddy!! Watch out!!" he cried, trying to stand up on shaky legs to protect the larger man from arachnid attack. Kapoodles Julian does not like spiders waaaah ;~;

Anxo - Dressed as a Scarecrow 10 -- GRABBED A STAKE
"Ah, gotcha." There was no protest from Anxo to adding another person to their small group. The more the merrier... Well, not quite merry but certainly more comforting, especially if they were one to defend themselves as need be. The webs were sticky and uncomfortable and he hated the very feel of them on his skin more than anything, up until the sound of hissing and tiny feet trudging around made the hair on the back of his neck stick up.
Anxo visibly flinched when all of a sudden the sound of a spider hissing reached his ears, not noticing just how close one of the beasts were until it was too late and it's body came crashing down on him. Or almost did, as Arian shoved him right out of the way.
At first he fell to the ground, stunned, but noticed how there was a box of stakes nearby, and he took one, lunging at the spider to dig it into it's hide.
"Let's move! It won't take long to get there!"

Rather than panic, the moment that Roddy saw the giant spider his mind immediately went to Julian, a growl came in his throat as he charged at the spider, just enough to knock it away from both Julian and the other person who the spider was interested in. He dug his spike into the base of the beast, digging and twisting it deep, before going back to Julian and scooping him up bridal style.
"I got you, Julian!" He assured the smaller man, holding him tight against his chest with ease. He may not have been powered up but right now, like this, he was in more than fine condition to protect his roommate. He weighed as much as a pillow to Roddy anyway, and Roddy held him as such, protectively and with no chance of falling.
With a final kick to the spider, he turned on his heel and darted into the Maze, clear out of sight of whatever beasts were roaming about for this moment. Adrenaline was still high, but he did manage to set Julian down after a moment, eyes darting around to make sure there were no immediate threats.
"Come on, let's keep moving. Are you alright to walk?"

Any other time Nischal would have laughed at the joke, seeing as their hands were now bound to one another, but this certainly wasn't the time for such jest. When they made it past the webs, there was an even worse fate waiting for them... Giant Spiders.
Nischal had no love for the creatures, but wasn't particularly bothered by them either, normally. This time they weren't normal in the least. They were these giant, hulking beasts that skittered about with outstanding speed, and he nearly felt the urge to scoop up Jason and run off with him. With their hands like this, there was no way to properly do that, so he chose to shield his partner from all those elbows and feet that came across. He could do this!
"I-I'm fine.. We're fine, okay! Come on! Into the maze! W-we can lose them in there!" Again, his voice cracked as he stumbled forward, trying not to drag Jason too badly by their joined hand. He wasn't going to leave the other's side! Not that he really had a choice, but even if he did, there was no way Jason was going through this alone.

Christabelle Calloway (got dat +1 stake, yo) Getting through the webbing was no small matter, and finding out giant spiders were behind it all wasn't either. Genevieve seemed to be doing just fine, and her training was paying off. Finding a small metal spike on the edge of the maze's opening, Christa scooped it up for use later. With all the people running around, someone was bound to need saving. "Genevieve, are you alright? If you can, grab something. It looks like we're going to have to defend ourselves without magic this time..." She kept her voice low, knowing the screaming and panic would likely cover their conversation. Still, it always paid to be secretive when out in public like this. "I don't know how to get through the maze, but if we pick a wall and follow that, it will eventually get us through!" Sleet Tempest Snape omg I'm on time this time! Infinities Mention because Jada/Giulia is tag team of AWESOME

Katrina Halloran"Tell me how you really feel." Her laughter was warm velvet, although nothing about their current situation was actually funny. If she hadn't seen things that would terrify others before she might be more worried. She might be frightened. As it was she was still in his company-- annoyed, but enjoying the closeness as much as she could. "This way, handsome," she murmured, taking his hand as they stepped out of the spiderwebs and into the maze. The spiders were closing in and there was no telling when one might attack, or even how many there were. They were reaching out to attack and there were still too many people around to power up and properly fight the creatures. If anyone she knew was behind this, she would personally murder them herself; starseed crushed or eaten with no chance of rebirth.

Jason McClayre - 2
Jason didn't like normal spiders, not that he ran away from them either. He certainly didn't like them though and would definitely, normally, kill one on sight. These weren't any normal spiders though, how had they gotten so big? This couldn't be natural, no way.
They didn't really have much choice but to go into the maze, but he wasn't sure it was really the best way to lose them either. What if they wandered into a dead end or turned a corner and found one waiting for them? Without any other option he ran into it with Nischal. But there was one ready to pounce on him as he was dragged along behind his friend. If his hand hadn' been attached he might have been able to get out of the way, but her hairy leg that jabbed at him caught him in the shoulder, pushing him awkwardly behind Nischal.
When it got a bit closer Jason sent a swift, though a bit unbalanced, kick at it's leg. He distracted it just long enough for Nischal to pull him out of the way and into the maze. "I know we've been through some s**t lately. But I think this tops all of that..." He could handle mirror space shenanigans as Crocus, but giant spiders during Halloween? With all these people around. His knee was just starting to feel 100% again, but with all the bumping around and running, he was already starting to feel some pain again.
Bluebell Simmons - 1
Bluebell was not having much luck with the crowd at all, she was still fighting to get rid of some of the webbing stuck to her as other people pushed her around. She tried to pull the silly costume wings, since they were definitely getting in the way, but the webbing had them stuck to her for now. They were also perhaps the reason that, as she entered the maze, she found herself face to face with one giant spider. They might had made he look like a very appetizing bug.
It swung a leg at her in an attempt to knock her off her feet, but she batted it away with her arm. Gods, the thing was pretty strong and it hurt like hell. It lunged at her next and she jumped to the side to avoid being trapped under it. The only good thing about being small, she was pretty fast. Being a smaller target she could avoid the large thing a little bit easier. She pressed herself against one of the hedges and ran around it. So far she only had a few scratches, but she was sure her arm would bruise up later. All she could do for now was focus on running away. It was too bad all of these people were around, if she could power up she'd be in a better position to take care of herself. It'd be so easy to just jump over the maze walls then.
Lulu Flowers - 5
There was only one way out, through the maze. And to get through the maze, Lulu would have to avoid many huge spiders. They were easily the size of a small car and definitely looked starved. Did regular spiders foam at the mouth like that? She wasn't really sure as she tried her best to avoid them. Some others weren't as lucky, but she didn't have time to worry about others right now. Where were her friends and her family? They had to be safe, but she didn't see them around her.
As she made her way into the maze one of them came dangerously close to snapping at her with it's fangs, but a noise behind it seemed to have distracted it. She counted her blessings as she got away without a scratch,
but the crowd was still thick and at this point she was a little more worried about the people around her rather than the spiders.

Cordelia Carden [3] Despite the noise she could hear Fritz's voice. She was convinced that she'd be able to hear his voice anywhere, over anything. His voice was soothing; a comfort in the chaos as well as a reminder that maybe she didn't have to be as frightened as she currently was. Were she Sailor Corvus, Eternal Senshi of Vengeance, she might have had confidence. She might have felt strong, empowered and ready to defend. She could trust in her enhanced strength and speed to aide her in dodging the many legs and dagger-like fangs. As Cordelia Carden she was fragile and horribly aware of every noise the spiders of unusual size (s-o-u-s) made as they crept closer to try and close in on their prey. Her heart was pounding and it was all she could do to keep herself from reaching into the pocket of her hooded dress for her henshin pen. It wasn't safe to do that. Not here. Not now. Cordelia made a rather undignified sound as she broke free of the webbing, nearly stumbling into Fritz again as she did so. "I am never letting Abby talk me into attending an event again. Not once has anything good ever happened at any Halloween anything in this godforsaken city." Not entirely answering either of his questions, it was the most she managed to make out before letting out a startled shriek as one of the spiders extended a leg to scrape at her calf. Abigail Doyle [2] In breaking away from Cordelia and Fritz in an attempt to find Lysander she'd somehow lost herself. The web maze was one thing, but now there was a hedge maze and spiders the size of... Nope. NOPE. N-o-p-e. Lysander. This had all been his idea. How quickly had he disappeared? What were the odds that this was all some stupid practical joke set up by the Senshi of Spiders? What-- " Ow." One of the critters had tried to attack her, catching her arm before she could scoot quickly out of the way. As much as she'd like to blame all of this on Lys, she knew he wouldn't actually hurt people. Not just for a prank...

Kian Cappello"If I did that darling someone would throw us out." He smirked slightly as they made their way through the crowds toward the maze. Kian didn't think being trapped in a maze with so many people and so few directions to run was a brilliant idea but there wasn't much choice. Not with so many people moving them in that direction and the spiders in the other. How much easier it would have been if he could have powered up? His Pet could have taken care of things easily enough. The spiders were big enough that he'd have liked to have something to use against them but with the press of bodies, both human and not, that wasn't an option. Instead he kept an arm around Katrina as they disappeared into the maze.

Ignacio ArayaSo the moving, inhuman shadows he saw within the building had been gigantic spiders, because of course they were gigantic spiders. Why wouldn't they be gigantic spiders? Assholes probably thought they were wrapping up lunch with the way they were wrapping up the building. Was this some kind of Nega-nonsense? He was tempted, again, to fish for his henshin pen, but he realized when the spider suddenly burst out of the web entirely and started charging that, no, it was definitely time to go. His flight response kicked in, and combined with his hobby of running and his other hobby of free-running, Ignacio was gone. Or as gone as he could get, anyway, all things considered. Like the crowds. And the maze. He suddenly skidded to a stop when he caught a crate at the corner of his eye. Hm? He took a quick moment to look into the crate and yank out a metal stake. It wasn't exactly as good as ionization powers, but it was definitely something he could work with. Ignacio was fairly well attuned to Richard's voice, and when he heard the worrying nearby, he pushed through the throng of people to grab his hand again. "Hopefully it's an easy maze. Maybe these stakes will help." He could at least stab at a leg if he needed to. Glancing behind himself and realizing that they definitely did not have time to talk, Ignacio yanked Richard with him into the maze.

Basil Whybourne
Basil tugged ineffectually at his arm, found Lysander there to help him actually extract himself from the sticky webbing, and finally managed to stumble away, following after the other man. He possibly could have been imposing, but it seemed only logical that they stick together, since two heads were always better than one in these situations.
And Basil was nothing if not logical.
Most of the time.
The spiders pooling in weren't exactly an ideal thing, but at least Basil wasn't afraid of them; and in fact, he was trying hard not to think of Arachne, but considering the connotation...
His cheeks were a little pink. Basil cleared his throat and said,
"What do we do? Should we - "
The rest of his sentence cut off as he abruptly tripped, Basil colliding with Lysander with a small grunt of irritation, kicking a foot out to try and get the spider's legs off of him.

Archer Wren - stake acquired
He hated this whole damned night. It had been a useless thing to come here, a ridiculous scheme, and he was regretting every second if it, minus the inevitable ending of it with Lauri. Archer did not care to do anything that did not directly benefit him, and this so far had yet to do that.
Lauri's voice was a low thing in his ear. Archer hissed out a sound, hating the glamour that kept his abilities at bay, and tilted his head to listen more closely, dark hair curling over his shoulders in a mostly controlled tangle. He had another fleeting desire to try and snatch the leash out of Lauri's hands, but -
Later.
"If this is something planned by the higher ups, it's pathetic," Archer spat. "They couldn't have done better than this childish display?"
As if to demonstrate this point, he swung the stake violently to the side and slammed it into an oncoming spider without missing a beat.

There were too many people. Nathaniel was starting to grow a little tired of it, if only because it was growing harder to keep track of Giulia's small form when there were people jostling this way and that. He felt his grip on her hand loosen as someone knocked into him, fingers slipping.
"Giulia!"
She was still caught in the webbing, wailing. Nathaniel shoved his way back to her and reached out to untangle her dress and then the rest of her, reaching to take her hand again.
"D'you wanna piggyback ride?" he asked. "I can carry you if y'don't wanna get lost, we can stay together, it's safer tha' way."
The maze was annoying too. Nathaniel gave it a quick glance - and the spiders - before he turned back to Giulia.

"Well!" Steele protested, because who didn't love Indiana Jones?! "It could be worse! We could be running for our lives as a giant boulder comes to crush us all to our doom!"
He probably shouldn't be watching movies late at night. Or in his office. Or really at all anymore when he was supposed to be doing paperwork, but that was beside the point. The point was that there were now giant spiders everywhere and he was going to run screaming into the night.
No, wait, he couldn't run screaming. Not in front of Shikora, at least.
"Gross," Steele said fervently.

He reached out instinctively as she shrieked - an automatic gesture, because she was afraid, and he knew she was afraid, and he didn't want to ever see Cordelia afraid. Fritz's fingers stopped just short of her wrist, redirected, and made to tear away the rest of the webbing that was still hanging off of her arm.
"Who's Abby?" he asked, because focusing on that was much easier than focusing on everything else. On the pounding of his heart, too painful in his chest; on the lack of distance between himself and Cordelia. On the fact that a second ago, he'd had her scent in his nose and her warmth close to him and it hadn't been terrible, even if he hadn't been able to stand it for more than a second.
"This is not how I envisaged my evening going."

Adrien Davids
"Calm" was almost never a word associated with Adrien, because...well, he was Adrien. Right now he wasn't so much as calm as he was trying not to screech like a banshee at the sight of the spiders, and also because he couldn't power up to protect Yuuri, so he had to do his best to at least pretend to be confident.
Sort of. It wasn't really helping that Yuuri was actually the one saving him, because Adrien let out a squawk of disgust and fear as one of the spiders came skittering towards him, all long legs and filthy body and he was going to have nightmares for weeks about this thank you very much.
"I'm all right, sweetheart, don't mind me!" said Adrien brightly - or as brightly as he could under the circumstances. "Look, we can totally be badass like this, we can be awesome, it'll be great, here, take my hand and we'll just pretend like we're like, in a movie or something, wait what movie did we watch last, didn't it have something to do with food, which reminds me, I forgot to buy more snacks - "
His rambling clearly meant that Adrien was more worked up than he was attempting to let on.

Caspian Lyons-Gallo - stake acquired
"Hey! Ow!"
He did not appreciate Michael's tendency to be domineering, except on those occasions when he did. Caspian let out a squawk of protest as he was dragged forward, feeling the annoyance flare, because this was exactly what he had been afraid of happening. Michael closing himself off again and not listening.
He jerked himself bodily away from his husband in time to swing the stake at a nearby spider, Caspian whirling around to glare at Michael.
"I'm not moving from this spot until you talk to me."
