Shesha Post 10 "Hmm... well... I suppose I can't complain too much, he's annoying but I like him well enough." He was better then some he could have ended up with. At least he was a useful patron in that he was teaching Shesha a whole new set of skills that were going to aid him in becoming that much more powerful in the future. The downside being all the back breaking work he had to put in. Who'd of thought that magic, which he'd always thought was a hands off sort of skill, would be so exhausting? Glancing in the direction Aqio was motioning he gave a little sigh, "We can check it out." He didn't know what he thought about something that 'looked simple enough' but they might as well take a peek, right? If it looked too bad then they could always just find another place to get their snacks from. Glancing to one side he look in the look on Aqio's face, a bit of a grin appear on Shesha's as he said, "If you keep smiling at them like that I am never going to believe your claims when it comes to your relationship, little fish." He said in a teasing manner, unable to resist poking at him just a little before he started to study the various food that was up for grabs within the booth.

Lasarra Post 5 Lasarra nodded. "Yes traveling with children is not only risky but can be messy." She looked back at her daughter fondly. She could be a mess, just like her sister, but she was her mess. "I would appreciate that very much, however for now I think it's time for me to go and fight. I hope you enjoy the rest of the tournament and I look forward to hearing from you before the end." She wouldn't be able to go and see the beast's compound just yet, but maybe one day when the girls were a little older. Nilah44 I'm having them walk away only because I can't seem to keep up with tagging people right now! Sorry.

Lasseyn Post 5 She liked this woman. Varinia. There was something about her that just made Lasseyn feel like the wasn't alone, that they weren't all that different despite their skin tones. "I think my sister will be jealous enough that she didn't come, but if I don't bring her anything home I'll be in trouble for sure." She laughed, wondering how many siblings the older women had. When her mother spoke up Lasseyn frowned for a second before bowing to the two women politely. "I look forward to meeting you again!" She said to both of them, but mostly Varinia.

Stereochrome Hop back in when you are able! SwordOfTheDarkOnes Skipping them ahead a little bit to them being outside the ring since a round or two has passed since their last post. <3 Bisera -- Post 7 Bisera gave pause on the way with the others as he saw a big Oban come forth, walking over to a big set of tournament brackets, and set to updating the information so that everyone who wasn't watching the fights would be kept up to date with who what continuing forward and who'd been knocked out. After giving it a once over he said, "It looks like the one that knocked you out was taken out in the second round, Xarnith." He wasn't sure if that would perk his friend up or not but he hoped so, wanting to make him feel better. The rest of the names on the list weren't ones that he knew personally but he would still wish the remaining fighters good luck since the fights were likely just as important to them as the fights were to Xarnith. He supposed it was a case of 'may the best man or woman win' and to the rest he was sure that they would probably train harder for next time, huh? He only wished that he could help Xarnith with his training but Bisera knew he was too squishy for such things. Turning his attention forward again Bisera sniffed at the air and said, "Something smells really good, huh? Some sort of meat is being cooked over a fire I think... we should definitely get some of that!"

Xarnith Post 5 There was a small self-statsified smirk on Xarnith when he saw the one who defeated him had been taken out. Then the male glanced down to Bisera at his side. Chuckling the taller wind male nodded. "I smell it too...why don't we go get something? Maybe there's something small we can get for Fractis while we're over there..." At the mention of his name the small prezi popped his head out from the sling. A loud mewl was Xarnith's answer. He looked up to Bisera. "Looks we got that vote..."

Bisera -- Post 8 He knew what the various beasts were that were eaten in Sauti, as well as Zena and Tale, but he did find himself rather curious about everything that they ate in Oba. He'd had a few things here himself, knew a few of the animals that were worth eating, but now that there was a big gathering much like a festival going on he could try more. It would be fun, getting to taste test all manner of new things while they were here. Once they left Oba it would start all over again with them trying all the food that they had in Matori too! Clapping his hands together he said, "We should try a little of everything! We can enjoy all of the food in Oba before we go to Matori!" His attention then went to the little kitten that was hiding in Xarnith's sling, something that made him chuckle. Reaching out a hand he gave him a scratch under the chin, "We will find you something tasty too, Fractis, don't worry!"

Orpheus Solon sorry for missing some posts! x - x Vodyanoi - post 6
Vodyanoi had left the other two -- Bisera and Xarnith -- with the promise that he would find them later, after having a quick chat with his troupe about the piece he wanted to perform. Besides, there was still some fighting left to watch, and he'd figured they would rather entertain themselves that way rather than follow him around all through the grounds.
Finding them again in a crowded festival was a bit of a challenge, of course... but he had a sharp set of eyes, and anyhow, they were noticeable enough with their fair skin and hair. So after a short while he was able to catch up with them as they were browsing through the food stands.
"There you are!" He waved, looking into his coin-purse to see how much he could afford to splurge on a meal. "Have you found something you want to try? I recommend some seafood, but... well, I've got a bit of an in-born bias for that. Do you even have fish, where you come from?"

Juno - post 4
He wasn't trying to stare too obviously or anything, but he had a feeling that... maybe this Alkidike was blind. Or something like it. He hadn't ever seen anyone who was blind before, but the way she moved and held her head (at an odd angle, not quite looking at things) suggested so. Still, outright staring was sort of odd, wasn't it? Even if she didn't notice, someone else might find him rude.
Someone did notice -- but it was a very small, fluttering someone. A sprite. It jingled towards him and started picking up wavy locks of his hair, apparently fascinated by this.
"Hello, little thing." He laughed, holding up his pastry. "Do you want some honey-bun?"
Did sprites even eat bread? What did they eat? He saw them around all the time, but he didn't know all that much.

Damissan Post: 6Damis didn’t necessarily expect a reaction. The dog was, well, a dog, and despite being large, he still considered it innately feral and thus not capable of exhibiting much intelligence. It couldn’t understand what he was saying. It might not even fully appreciate that its master was leaving — though Damis doubted the latter, given that Gadot had shown certain amounts of awareness and agency before, particularly in regard to Xilarn and what the elder man wanted of him.
Still, the wriggle forward caught him by surprise. It wasn’t aggressive—likely couldn’t have been much less agressive while still managing to bring the mutt nearer to him—and yet, there was an instant after where Damis tensed, if possible, further. Gadot did nothing more, though, except to venture another small scootch and expectant shimmy. Damis, after the handful of moments required to relax again, snorted quietly, eyeing him and rolling his shoulders.
“Come now,” he said at length, “I don’t know what you expect of me, but we cannot just—”
Closer.
Damis squinted, eyeing as the beast edged in — and in — until his nose was pressed to his boot, large brown eyes staring up hopefully. “I don’t know how to…‘walk’ you or do whatever is necessary to take you anywhere other than here. Not to mention, if he didn’t trust himself to take you elsewhere without the potential of trouble, I don’t see how you would think it’d be a better idea for me to.” After some enduring hesitance, however, Damis did work up the courage to reach and stroke—very hesitantly initially, but then less so—along the beast’s snout. “We can both suffer boredom together, mm?”
Except that, among Damissan’s long list of disfavored things, boredom was one of those he found most difficult to grapple with, particularly when there were alternatives readily available. Everywhere.
And Xilarn was certainly taking his time with returning, wasn’t he?
Damissan did not keep track of exactly how long it took him to lose patience with waiting, but suffice to say that at some point after the closure of the match Xilarn had set out for and after more than ample time had passed for the older man to return, Damis’ willingness to sit still expired well and truly. It wasn’t, likely, the best of plans, but he was thirsty. The day was hot and busy, and Xilarn had chosen to take the beast into the city with them. If he was prone to attacking random strangers at will surely Damis would have noticed by now—possibly?
And regardless, the beast was Xilarn’s, not his. If anything happened, it would be the other man’s issue to deal with. Or, so Damis told himself as he stood, giving some uncertain attempt at beckoning the beast along with him before heading out. Fortunately, nothing wildly out of character or disastrous occurred. Damis got a drink, another midday snack, and spoke very briefly with some fellow tournament-goers—just enough to learn that the third round had begun—before hurrying on his way back. Just in time, as it happened, to catch the tail end and results.
By the time he spotted Xilarn again, he finally looked to be appreciating his victory streak. Damissan flashed a grin, and then, after a short whistle and click of his tongue to at least earn the beast’s attention, tossed a small scrap of meat from his lunch wrap Gadot’s way. “There is a look more appropriate for someone ranking their way to the finest in their class,” Damis said. “Not that I’m surprised my parents had good taste in a guard. Enjoying yourself? And who are you in line to defeat next?”

Xarnith Post 6 Xarnith smiled as he looked up to the water male. "Seafood sounds good...it was a rarity growing up. Traveling it was a bit more common, but my uncle was poor at cooking them." he looked down to the kitten. "I think fish would be rather interesting for him..."

Xilarn Post: 7He definitely expected complaint and whining upon his return. 'How dare you leave me behind with your questionable and likely ill-tempered beast. What if he'd bitten someone in your absence? What if he'd bitten me? What if he'd run off or-' And on and on with 'what ifs' and the unfairness of the situation. Possibly something about irresponsibility or wondering why he hadn't come back immediately after his match. Basically, the possibilities were endless, and any one of those options would've been in line with what he expected from a noble brat.
Xilarn was less prepared to see the younger man sitting idly, feeding scraps to the raptrix as though they were on good terms. Not there there was a reason they shouldn't be, as Gadot was never especially disagreeable toward food, but it just wasn't on par with how he expected things to to proceed. He eyed Damis' snack, and it crossed his mind to ask when he'd gotten such a thing, and where, since it likely meant he'd had to leave to get it, and that could only mean-
But hardly more than a second after the thought crossed his mind, Xil decided he didn't care. Obviously nothing unsavory had happened in his absence. He didn't need to be informed of the details. He took his seat and heaved a sigh.
Pleased over his victories or not, so many fights in close succession did have a way of wearing on him, and Xilarn was never not prepared to complain about desert heat and people in general. Argument seemed the best course of action, as per the usual. He rubbed at the back of his neck and snorted softly. "Oh, please. Your parents' 'taste' hardly has anything to do with anything. It isn't as though we had any lengthy or especially informative discussions. I might've been a murderer. Or- Perhaps I make a living off of abducting noble boys and selling them off to the savages as pretty, tempestuous, and argumentative little playthings. Would your mummy and daddy know about that? No, because their communication skills are s**t and I expect they have similar decision-making capabilities."
Maybe they'd gotten of on the wrong foot after the great fiasco of making Xil traipse blindly and half-fearfully throughout the city after some boy with very minimal information as to where precisely he was going and why he'd left before- The irritation was a week old by now, but he didn't forgive it.
Xilarn rolled his shoulders and eased back into his seat. "I didn't bother to find out. Maybe I'll keep it a surprise. You like those, anyway, mm?"

Itotia Post 5As the battles continued, Itotia felt the eyes of others focus back on her hair and ears as they grew bored of the fighting. Younglings pointed, elders gasped, and others just simply stared. Letting out a huff, she glanced over toward Aseara who seemed more focused on her husband who was making quite a name for himself in the fights.
"I'm going to get some refreshments. Do be a dear and old my place?"
She moved to stand, and resisted pulling her hood up. Instead, she raised her chin and walked away from the crowd, ignoring those who gasped at her to instead find a vendor she somewhat knew and would be willing to provide her some service.Itotia is now hanging out with the vendors, and open for all interaction

Teslaron Post: 6Ah, women and their moods. Tes decided he'd probably never understand what about the last few minutes had been so offensive to the Shifter female, but he supposed it didn't matter too much. He certainly wasn't going to overly concern himself with it right before his match. He didn't need that kind of distraction. But because Dris'rynne was in such a mood, Teslaron was prepared to lean away, smirk at her, bid her farewell, and be on his way.
Instead, he stopped, blinked, and squinted down (or tried to) at the fingers pressed to his lips, nearly going cross-eyed in the process. From there, thinking and caution went to the wind.
He grabbed her arm before Dris had proper chance to pull back, turned her palm to the sky, and dipped to kiss her wrist. "I'll take it." His voice was low, quiet, and his gaze downcast, head dipped. He couldn't imagine why anyone in such unimpressed of a temper would give him even this much of a concession, not that Dris'rynne sounded especially pleased about it, either. When his yellowed eyes flicked back to her, a smile was tugging on his lips.
"Though if anyone should have concerns about kissing a loser, I imagine it'd be me more than you." He laughed, ducking out of way of retaliation and practically skipping down the aisleway. Over his shoulder, Tes shouted, "Watch me, Dris'rynne! I don't think your reputation has much to worry about."

Elyessi Hope it's okay if Kieran jumps in and gets his glimpse of another Yaeli. :3 Kieran 4
As much as he hated to approach someone from the shadows, the male was truly intrigued by the appearance of another Yaeli. Moving through the crowds Kieran made his way towards where he had last spotted the woman. Not that it was hard to track someone who stirred such gossip through the crowd. The faintest of smirks crossed his features as he noticed younglings pointing through the crowds - right towards the vendor where the other yaeli stood.
But what was he going to do?
It wasn't like he could boldly approach her, yet the fear of losing her in the crowd also stirred him. It wasn't like he could watch her forever after all. And perhaps seeing someone else would help ease her spirits - or more than likely ease his own spirit which also missed home. His mind set, Kieran moved forward so that he could brush past the other Yaeli. Unlike her, however, he kept his hood up as he whispered quietly. "What are you doing here so far away from home?" The question may have come across as rude, but once Kieran glanced towards her the sincerity in his own silver eyes may have proved otherwise.

Carminer Post 5
After getting a drink, Carminer found himself getting lose in terms of time. He really didn't have much to do, and he was sure his brother would understand. Instead, he took time to test all of the drinks available at the location. Time continued to pass, as did his tolerance, until he became a bit of a character providing drinks to those around him and entertainment as well.
Every time someone appeared who seemed to have failed, Carminer was quick to wave them over and celebrate it anyway.Tasinei Still close to Solari if you wanted to join in
