Todd swiveled in his seat and grinned up at Andrina. "Yes! that's my name! What's yours?" He asked her, curious to know.
Hearing his name used a few times in near conversation, he looked to see Charl talking to another girl in the class explaining who he was and offering to take her back to her own class-- where, he guessed, was probably boring. But then again, so was school in general. This was his least favorite part of the day by far.
Todd sighed when Mr. Goodheart gave his instructions and opened his book as he was told to do... All the numbers on the page seemed to dance around, all making fun of him as they began to form impossible problems for him. He imagined they were all cackling maniacally up at him.

Hearing her reply, he turned and looked at her. She was much more pleasant to look at than his math book. At least she stayed still. "Nice to meet you, Andrina." He replied just under a whisper to avoid Mr. Goodheart overhearing.

Loving FatherThomas looked back at the class. Okay, for math chapters 4-5, we're reviewing, we doing the problems shown on the Menu Math Ice Cream Parlor booklet. Thomas then turns toward Todd. Todd, could you pass out the worksheets and the Math Ice Cream Parlor Menus out? Thomas says this as he gets out the Menu Math Ice Cream Parlor Books out. OOC: Harriet, when I was in school I did the Math Ice Cream Parlor when I had math class sometimes.

"Sure." Getting to his feet, Todd read the first problem. "You and a friend have gone to the ice cream parlor. One scoop of ice cream costs $0.80 and a jumbo scoop costs $1.20. Would it be cheaper to share a jumbo scoop of ice cream, or would it be cheaper to buy two scoops of ice cream?"

Albert answers the problem by subtracting the difference first, compares the two Ice cream prices, then writes down the cheaper Ice Cream name along with the price. After that he whispers to Todd. Todd, need some help?

Nodding, Todd sat down and started to write it out... he wrote down the prices and the number of people. To his horror, they didn't move at all this time. Todd and the numbers stared back at one another blankly, unsure of what to do with each other. Hearing Albert, he turned to him and nodded. "Yes, please."

Todd stared at Albert for a moment, confused, before looking back to his work paper to try it out... pausing, he looked back to Albert. "How do I get the difference?" Subtraction he understood, but he wasn't sure how to find the difference before subtracting.
