One Lieutenant was unconscious. There was still Birbite to deal with, but considering the rest of the agents seemed to be going down from the Princess's attack, she didn't expect he would pose much more of a problem.
Oberon ran off to confront the General Queen, and Perdita almost followed him. He was going to get himself killed! There was no way he could take a General Queen on his own! Even though he'd have help from the group that already surrounded the General Queen, Perdita was afraid he'd be cut down before anyone could even push him out of the way.
Another Super Senshi (Varuna) came up to their group. She used an attack of snow and made a path for them to begin making their way back to the portal.
Perdita looked at Chara, Tomlin, and the Chibi Senshi.
“Go help Oberon, please!” she shouted toward the snowy Super Senshi.
To the rest of her group, she said, “Now's our chance! Come on! We have to get to the portal!”
With her broom at the ready to fend off any stray agents or youma, Perdita began to lead the way.
Myrrha had been hoping that whatever strange magic was felling those of chaos would slow her opponent down. She had been slowly running out of room to back up. Her eyes flicked down to the bag she still luckily carried. Her gaze was impassive as Marcasite went down. The basic senshi took that moment to turn her back to the woman. Myrrha took a moment to scan the crowd in an attempt to locate either Sabine or Phact. She needed to reconnect with the group that she had been tasked to help out. Turning on a pivot Myrrha figured that her best chance was to head towards the area that she had come through the portal.
It was fortunate that whatever attack had been leashed over the battlefield didn't affect her. Her gaze stayed wide as she took in all the carnage that she was running past. She needed to get out of here. If only to survive. There was no use in allowing herself to panic. Not yet at least. Her hand went to her stomach as she felt another wave of pain wash over her. She was still labouring to breath normally.
She clutched the strap of her bag like it was a lifeline as she took another step in the direction of the portal. The heaviest of presences registered on her mind then and she took in the sight that was coming into view. Had she felt this level of malevolence before? She was sure she had. There was no indication on her part that she was running from one battle that she might have been able to manage into one she had zero chance in.
Super Sailor Aegir, Senshi of Silence - open to engage, hunting a lost thyrmr, and basically trying really hard
"You're right, Ash. We'll go that way and if we can help, we'll help. If not...I want everyone out of here." But really, he was thinking that if nothing else, he would send Ash, Monty, and Thyrmr back through Caedus' portal to what he hoped was safety. Ash wasn't meant for battle and she'd used up her shots - it was fisticuffs or nothing for her now - and Monty's pen would do d**k-all against the General Queen. He'd lost count of Thyrmr's casting, so if his friend could attack or not, he wasn't sure - of the four, he might've been the only one that still had magic to throw around. So he took a moment to rephrase, putting a hand on Mont Blonc's bloody shoulder and looking mostly between him and Ash. "If you get a chance to go through that portal, I want you to take it. You've done enough."
Monty looked at him with an alarmed expression on his face as he worried the limp, blood-spattered pen in his hands, "But-- Aren't you? You're coming too, right?"
"I can still cast...and maybe my magic can help pin that General Queen down. I'm...I'll follow as quickly as I can." No, he didn't want to stay, but could he leave without trying? Absolutely not. Aegir put a hand up to keep Monty from saying anything, and the Saturn Knight just gave him a look that spoke volumes but wisely decided to keep his mouth shut for the moment - it wasn't as though Aegir could make him go if he didn't want to, leader or not. The senshi of silence sighed and gave them a tired little smile, "Let's keep moving." And off they went again.
When Thyrmr disengaged, Aegir said nothing. They were all trying to deal with the chaos around them as best they could - later, when things were calmer and they were safely tucked away somewhere, they could all try to work through the shitshow they'd survived - for the moment it was more about flat out survival than comfort. And having his dear friend release him made it that much easier for Aegir to be proactive when dealing with Youma and Officers.
Which he did, with a brutal sort of efficiency. Youma got dusted, Negas got knocked the ******** out or otherwise incapacitated; in their flight towards not only the portal but the knot of Order battling bravely against Laurelite, he had the 'luck' to come up behind a distracted Captain and kicked their legs out from under them, breaking the left so that the guy couldn't fight back.
At that point they stopped briefly and he noticed that Thyrmr had wandered off; Aegir pushed down panic and tried looking through the confusing throng for shock-white hair but couldn't make him out before Mont Blonc was making dismayed sounds at a small, dragon-esque looking monster that was flying around his head and snapping. Ash smacked at it with a tiny fist and Monty ended up stabbing it in the head and dusting it with his pen. When did he leave? Where did he go? Jesus...Thyrmr...
But then he saw people falling around him, felt the warm rush of magic from Ganymede's crystal attack, and felt his stomach drop. The magic doesn't just affect the Negaverse! What was she thinking!? This whole thing was even more of a wash than he'd first thought - Ganymede had just ******** over what looked like a sizable number of Order people on a hail Mary pass that wasn't going to work. Clearly.
Aegir caught sight of a group heading straight to the portal and knew he had to send Monty and Ash to them, with them. "Ash, will you take Mont Blonc to the portal? You both need to go, now, while that monster is still distracted." He stepped close and kissed the Mauvian's cheek, then Mont Blonc's, whispering to him before stepping back, "As you love me, do this." He knew it was a cheap shot, because the Squire couldn't argue, but Aegir was willing to play dirty if he had to just to assure their safety as best he could. "I know you two can make it, if you follow that group. I'll be right behind you once I find Thyrmr. I promise. Go."

looping u because Aegir is a manipulative little s**t and Monty has an escort to the portal :F
At least taking advantage of Ganymede's attack and trying to beat a retreat to Caedus' portal had been the plan.
He had looked over at the red and orange-haired senshi Ananke at Subamara's question and had been surprised when his friend had followed up by turning the question on him.
"I'm okay" he said quietly, fidgeting a little under her stern gaze as he wondered if he should mention the acid-spraying scorpion that he, Alcor, Eleonora and Liryn had encountered in the strange ruined building with the crystal, however it wasn't as if he gotten particularly hurt - well not unless you counted Liryn's attempts to turn him prematurely grey.
Subamara had also offered to give the group a bit of an energy boost and Athene had given his friend a grateful nod in thanks as he stepped closer to those who had followed after him and it wasn't long until the warm scent of coffee pooled in the air from her magic.
The alertness boost was a welcome one and Athene was planning to once again suggest that they all make a push for the exit...
And then he heard the screams.
Athene turned and his blood ran cold because the General Queen had recovered much, much faster than he'd been expecting.
She had also caught a senshi and was doing to her the same thing that she had done to the Saturn Squire.
He watched for a moment, then two in horrified silence as the senshi's screams echoed.
And there was a flash of movement as light glinted off bronze beads braided into a part of pale jade hair.
Liryn had followed after Athene after the dark-haired eternal had headed in the direction of the two senshi that he had pointed out and had been a few paces behind Eleonora.
The red and orange-haired senshi (Ananke) had been an unfamiliar one, however he had recognised the other senshi as Subamara and called to her cheerfully "Hi Subamara, long time no see."
Although given that he was in his cat-human form rather than as the cat, it should perhaps have occurred to him that the curly-haired senshi might not recognise him.
Subamara's offered energy boost had been a welcome one and Liryn had felt more alert and energised and pretty happy to take Athene up on his suggestion to make a push to Caedus' portal and had been planning to sidle up to the red and orange-haired senshi in order to offer to hold her hand.
And then the screams had started.
It was the General Queen and she had caught a senshi - and worse was trying to corrupt the senshi.
Liryn ran, instinct taking over, the coffee boost from Subamara helping to boost his speed a little.
And as he ran he charged up his forehead laser, the jade green star on his forehead, Liryn waiting until he was close enough before aiming the beam at the blue-haired General Queen.
The movement from Liryn had pushed Athene into action as the dark-haired eternal ran after the tabby-eared mauvian.
And as he ran Athene could hear the senshi continue to scream, the raw ugly sounds echoing in his ears.
He had used his magic once again, but the dark-haired senshi remembered the Saturn squire and knew he had to at least try as he called on his super level magic for the second time that night "Blue Beads of Nazar – intensated!"
And whilst he was probably pushing his luck with trying to use his temperamental magic more than once and had no idea whether the beads would even hold the General Queen, it didn't stop him from sending the magical beads towards her, whilst hoping desperately that it would help.
Quote:
Blue Beads of Nazar – intensated Athene’s super level attack takes the form of a ‘ball of beads’ that can trap a target with ill will towards either Athene or one of his allies in a barrier of beads if it connects. (Ill will means that the target wishes to cause some form of harm to either Athene or his ally). Target can still jump, block, or strike with their weapon - but they cannot leave the ring of beads. Beads can be smashed by someone outside the barrier, smashing half (24 to 30) will bring down the barrier. Duration: Normally about thirty seconds, but the time halves for Powered beings at a higher level to Athene

One mauvian and one eternal attempting to attack Laurelite
Corrupt Eternal Sailor Cyllene -- trying to help Order ???????
Cyllene had to shut her eyes for a moment to try to push out the image of the light fading from Lt. Vegemite's. She took a few seconds, blocking out the crying, screaming and agony that surrounded her; her entire body trembling. Finally, she took a shaky breath as Ganymede's magic wore off and reached to Lt. Vegemite to gently close her eyelids. The Corrupt Senshi made a mental note to come back down here when this was all over to apologize and give the other girl a proper burial. She deserved that much. All of the dead that were down here deserved that.
Less time had passed than Cyllene thought when she finally reopened her eyes to the loud voices of various White Mooners calling out to Laurelite, which was all over-shadowed by the loudest scream in the room of Harmonia. Cyllene knew that scream. There was nothing in the world like the feeling of being brought over to the Negaverse.
Pushing herself to her unsteady feet, Cyllene stumbled closer to Valhalla and the group nearby him as Ganymede made her way towards Laurelite again because clearly the Princess was indeed cray cray. "I can help," she croaked at him. To anyone that would listen to someone who was, essentially, the enemy. "I can teleport. I can get people out." Bright blue eyes full of desperation searched for some sign that they would even trust her enough to let her remove anyone from this hell.
"Please. Let me help."

A thrill of emotions had seared through Thrymr as the general turned towards him; confusing, twisting emotions that he didn't understand, that overtook his mind so that his thoughts felt dazed and darkened. They were on a battlefield; he had killed someone, and he'd lost Aegir and Mont Blonc and Ash somewhere in the crowd.
But he couldn't tear his eyes away from the man in the cloak.
He didn't know why. It wasn't as though he was any different than the others around him, the Negaverse agents who were yelling and fighting and attacking their way through the area around them until all Thrymr could hear was the sharp sounds of vengeance and victory.
Stupidly, he didn't move.
Stupidly, he didn't try and get away as the general's fingers closed around the front of his uniform, Thrymr staggering forward with a little gasp. One hand automatically rose, fingers curling around the man's wrist, but it seemed to be less an attempt at freeing himself and more a way to keep his balance as he stumbled along behind the man.
"What - " he choked out, and fear made Thrymr's voice tremble. "What do you want to talk about?"

Lt. Huntite
When the General answered him Huntite gave a nod and listened carefully to what the younger man had to say about the royal. The magic she had did not sound pleasant in the least as the memory of his corruption wasn't that far back and he could remember the pain well. He did his best to prepare himself for such an attack as he quickly followed after Benitoite when he started to head off to help the General Queen. The lieutenant was glad when the cat was told to get to safety, not wanting her to get hurt either. He would occasionally do his best to trip up one of the invaders if they passed by any battles in order to help other officers but for the most part his focus was on sticking close to the General and reaching Laurelite.
As they made their way to the General Queen he could see Benitoite started to pull off parts of his uniform and at first he was confused as to why and then he realized he himself was getting warmer and very quickly. While Huntite didn't start to shed layers like the General he did unbutton his over shirt and untucked it from his belt by the time the attack fully hit him. As the feeling of burning up from the inside bared down on him he stumbled a few steps forward then dropped to his knees. He let out a cry of pain before he bit down hard on his lip to stop any more from coming out. Huntite tried his best not to end up curling in on himself but couldn't help it in the end, having never felt a magic attack at all let alone one so powerful. He was gratified to see the General Queen managing to over come it and start attacking again though.

Erebus, Squire of Saturn
Erebus let Venice tug him along, finding it easier to keep up with the Page that way as his eyes were darting around on the look out for attackers. "Sounds good to me!" He said with his guard still up. That changed when the Negaverse agents started to drop like flies and the youma got turned into dust as he quickly looked back to the group. He jerked in surprise as the Mars Knight (Kairatos) went down hard along with the the officers and a few of the others on Order's side. Thankfully Havasu went to help the fallen Knight before Erebus could try though it looked like he was having trouble himself. "Pathway is as clear as it ever will be I think, time to hustle the best we can to the portal." He said though he was well aware of everyone in the group already knowing this and doing so.

Ochre, Corrupted Super Senshi - Attacking Denebola, in pain
Ochre looked toward the group that Xenotime pointed toward, and found a number of senshi gathered around the knight. Ochre was hesitant; he felt uncertain whether he should approach such a gathering alone, without the backup of his General and his new counterpart. And yet, Xenotime gave her order with a brush of his hair, and he knew she would take care of him if he found himself in trouble. Ochre followed after her without complaint.
With his sights trained on the blue and green senshi, Ochre trotted to a stop as he extended a hand. Prehnite went with Xenotime as he found his own target. Battle exploited about him while he stood a short distance away, seemingly frozen as he mentally kicked himself into action. "Sheikh's Prayer," he muttered quietly, and the familiar white essence formed in his palm. It discharged henceforth toward his target, and he waited for the cast to connect. Inwardly he hoped she had some damn good magic, because looking back at Laurelite and all the damage she was weathering, they needed all the help they could get.
They already lost one General-Queen - Ochre wasn't certain they would survive losing another.
Then, a burst of searing pain overtook him from the princess's magical atom bomb, and Ochre froze in the misery of it. Veins alight, he could not move if he wanted to.

Scholomance, Squire of Saturn - Creeping on Ganymede
Scholomance hissed through teeth freely as he cut his way across the battlefield. Since the administration of tea, his leg felt better, but pushing it toward battle took a toll over it. Scholomance walked with purpose, however, as his bone cane came thocking down next to fallen Negaverse agents and growths of crystal alike. He started directly toward the royal senshi, around whom the battle converged. Laurelite remained dangerously close by. Her hand penetrated a Super Senshi who now writhed on the ground with the presence of Chaos. She was not his concern. Any conversion made here was an escape from death - she should be grateful for that.
Scholomance saw the glimmer of the crystal in Ganymede's cast, and soon a whole host of individuals on both sides looked crippled in magical throes. Scholomance himself felt nothing, and he cast a glance toward his companion Centisima to survey any damage taken. If her attack targeted all chaos and still struck some of their own, then what were the magical constraints behind the magic? Scholomance had little time to wonder, however, as time and necessity forced him toward other motives.
Directly in his path toward Ganymede was one super senshi, sunken to the ground in a wretched scream. He turned to Centisima. "Can you do anything about this one? She might have useful magic for getting out of here, but she's not going to do s**t with it if she's left like this." He gestured toward her with the end of the bone cane. Soon, it was pointed toward the princess. "I'm going to make sure that one lives so we can get the hell out of here. If she falls, I'm betting that General-Queen will be going after everyone who gets close to the portal." Having finished his piece, Scholomance started his venture once more in approaching Ganymede.
Now that he came within casting distance of the royal senshi, Scholomance stopped not far from another blooming battle nearby, where youma threatened to overtake a senshi he didn't recognize. Hopefully the girl held her ground. Instead, he focused on watching the exchange between the royal senshi and the general-queen. The corruption would finish, surely, and she would strike out at the princess that threatened to end her.

Lieutenant Tourmaline - Dazed and Confused @_@
To no one's surprise (certainly not to Lieutenant Tourmaline's, at least), Sailor Dia was of no help when it came to aiding her. Oh, sure, Sailor Dia had tried to help her up for all of two seconds, but then she had just given up.
Figures.
Lieutenant Tourmaline was winded from hitting the ground just as much as she was from the other Lieutenant (Aluminte) landing on her. It took her a moment to catch her breath and she managed to sit up just in time to catch him flailing about while trying to put the flames out.
"Well -- I honestly hope you didn't mean to land on me. Pretty s**t battle tactic if that's the case, landing on one of your own teammates? Can't be all that easy to aim yourself while you're flying through the air unplanned, though. No fault this time?" Her brow quirked as she tried to stand, wobbling on her feet with a slight groan and nearly falling right back down.
Nope. Nope. She wasn't going to let one knock onto her a** throw her out of the fight. That would be such a bad example and someone had to show Sailor Dia how to survive in a situation like this. "How about you owe me lunch sometime to make up for it?" Tourmaline flashed him a 'no harm, no foul' grin that didn't quite reach her eyes. So many people were screaming -- What the hell was going on?
Ambrosia felt good about Bananite's defeat. She cheered. Another one down, another one closer to getting home. The Chibi's were working great together..
Then Oberon made a sudden run into the battlefield, Leaving Perdita behind and very scared looking. Ambrosia followed his movement, wanting to call out to him. But when she went to open her mouth, a scream came out instead.
A senshi was one the ground, hand of the General Queen deep in her chest. Ambrosia had never seen a corruption happen; she just assumed that Chaos surrounded them and that was that. She never realized how invasive the process was. The world slowed down, and she saw others coming to the senshi's aid. She wanted to, but her feet were rooted. All she could do was watch the forced corruption and scream.
It terrified her.
Oberon was going to stand up to the General Queen, with backup from a Princess. She didn't know what he was thinking. There was no way he could make it out of there alive...Ambrosia took a couple running steps toward the fray, but was called back to reality by others shouting at her to run. There was a relatively clear path to the portal. Everything returned to normal pace, the cries of battle slowly filling her ears instead of her heartbeat. She followed Perdita, sprinting away from the horrifying scene.

Grus - Time to bust out that Eternal Power!
Grus got up from the ground, gasping in time with the throb of her arm. She didn't expect the slap to have that much effect, but it rendered the girl useless, and that's all that mattered.
She got to her feet, and looked over at the crying girl.
"You can always join us if you want." she said. "It's never too late."
She turned to face the main show, so to speak, and her eyes widened in horror. Laurelite had someone in a chest lock, and judging by the fading of her fuku, she didn't have much time. Ganymede was there, but having used her power earlier, she couldn't have enough for another one right? Maybe/ Princesses were a lot higher on the power scale, and the Eternal senshi didn't know how theirs worked. But she couldn't just let the General Queen take one of their own. Grus ran toward them, calling her power forth.
"Don't!" she screamed. "Don't give in!" She tried to pick up speed when a younger senshi got involved. She felt her stomach drop to see him stand up to certain death. Her thoughts matched her breath ohgod ohgodohgod.... Now the situation was a ********/> She skidded to a stop, letting the feathers swirl around her skirt in an angry rage. They glowed orange with power, and pulsed with her rapid heartbeat.
This was going to hurt someone. Probably someone she didn't intend to hurt. But if it got Harmonia out of danger...
She'd apologize later.
Grus shouted "Feather Barrage!", releasing the feathers around her in a blast of air, praying they hit.
(Attack Description in spoiler)
Attack #2: NAME:Feather Barrage! [What it does] Think Jupiter's "Oak Evolution" with feathers. The feathers now have an energy cover that makes them glow with a red and yellow energy. She spins once, thrusting her hands outward, and a ring of the energy covered feathers flies from her body. If the feathers hit someone, they stick to them and the person feels as if the feather cut it's way through them, and they will receive a feather shaped burn on the entrance and exit "holes" of the wound.
Note: The feather is not actually cutting through them, it just feels as if it has and the burns show up where the holes would be if it did cut through them.
If the feathers stick to anything but flesh, such as clothing, it will burn a hole through it. (Exception being like really thick things, like buildings. They will get a 2-3 inch indentation)
[Range] The ring shoots out 15 feet in a circle before the feathers lose their power and fall to the ground, harmless feathers again.
[Lasts] 10 seconds for the feathers to fly the 15 feet. The burning at the "holes" will last for 10 seconds after the pain, gradually fading to nothing by the time the 10 seconds is up. The burn will stay as a normal injury would remain (meaning it doesn't fade away with the burning sensation. Like a cut, it will take time to fully heal)
[Cons] They fly in a ring, so any senshi/people around are in danger of being hit as well. Taking cover is advised.

Glitnir, Knight of Mars- vs. Aurostibite
Glitnir's mouth dropped open as he realized whose chest the General-Queen's hand was in: Harmonia, the senshi he had discussed the war with before encountering his Shadow. He wanted to surge forth, see if he could separate them, but he was interrupted by a blow to his back. He stumbled forward, narrowly avoiding a faceplant. Gripping the chain of his scale, he turned around to spot the General that swiped him. This was going to create a problem: he couldn't continue to channel his magic on Laurelite while this guy was attacking him, and if he ended up tennised between a General and a General-Queen, it wasn't going to be good. With a growl, he gave his scale a good swing, hoping he had enough momentum to give the General a good lump if he hit.
He had not expected for them to be accosted so quickly, though it should not have been surprising. As they rounded the corner of the line of golems, the portal just barely out of their sight, Celsus had only a few brief seconds to see what was in front of them before a general stepped into his line of vision. She was not alone; he was not surprised by that, either, the reek of Chaos spreading like poison across his senses.
He recognized her. He did not want to fight her, nor did he want any of the others to do so as well, but there was not enough time to try and guard them before the general sent her lackeys out. Celsus felt a swaying of nausea, a heaviness that stemmed from the dizzying voices inside of his head, but he pushed them all aside and ducked instinctively, dodging Xenotime's initial punch. It grazed his jaw anyway, and he stumbled, letting out a small hiss, pain blossoming across his face.
Up ahead, he could see Valhalla, and a wave of shame and guilt over their last meeting burned through Celsus. Out of range of the fire that seemed to sweep through all of Chaos, Celsus snapped his whip through the air; it gave a crack like a gunshot, the magic sizzling towards the general.
"I don't have time for you," he gasped out.
Denebola and Corvus were strong, and capable; he knew they would protect Altais, as well as each other, but they did not have time for this. Celsus was backing away from Xenotime, making sure to keep his gaze even as he was skidding down the incline towards the rest of the fight.
Maybe they would think him cowardly, but this was all he had left.
beejoux
Celsus cracks the whip, and the sound creates a distraction, a lack of concentration. They have trouble keeping their mind focused on one specific thing for very long. This makes it difficult for the opponent to keep their aim specific. Celsus has to be within viewing distance of his opponent, and he has to be looking directly at them. If his vision is obscured or his concentration broken, the effect won't work. The effect lasts approximately 40 seconds, depending on the strength of the opponent.

Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade
While the back might have been nice any other time, and it did help with some of the dizziness and nausea, he turned his head only enough to let his one green eye look over at Valhalla from under his black, sweat-wet, hair.
"Stop worrying about me and worry about HER! Use your attack and protect her!" He barked back at the knight, knowing there was far more important things to Valhalla than Gevaudan. Any other time it might have been touching, but he didn't want the death of his wife put on him if Valhalla felt obligated to stay. What he didn't get was why Valhalla was even holding back and not attacking.
"Are you going to keep talking or are you going to attack! Laurelite is going to kill her!" He was unsteady, but he lifted his bloodied-gloved hand and shoved the knight away. "GO!"
He felt no need to attempt to assist Laurelite in her endeavors. She was doing whatever it was that she had set out to do, and Aurostibite knew that she would succeed in them. Right now, his focus was on the knight in front of him, the one that was too bright, stinking of Order.
The knight swung, and Aurostibite did not manage to dodge in its entirety. The heavy scale cracked against the side of his skull, pain exploding in his head, and Aurostibite staggered, a low grow escaping his throat. For a moment, his vision wavered, black encroaching, but he pushed past it and raised the weapons again. The edges of the winged tonfas were bladed; if he could land a solid blow, he could perhaps cut this knight to ribbons.
Aurostibite lunged again, swinging an arm towards the other's legs.
