Results! With the wheel given a mighty spin, Dumuzi was more than pleased to see a nice big fat 1o come up to the pointer! Very nice indeed!
Dumuzi giggled. ”Yep, I finally got Theo to come along, and I didn’t even have to use my Baby Doll eyes.” Dumuzi’s face gave a twisted little smile that just oozed with mischief and scheming. She really wasn’t plotting anything, but she wasn’t going to tell the boys that… or Isis for that matter. She did have her ways to get what she wanted, and it usually involved some sort of cute look or charm that could sway things in her favour. When Theo mentioned that he was persuasive, Dumuzi panicked a little bit inside but kept a cool exterior, she had a feeling that Leon and Isis thought that she was a girl. Leon didn’t seem to pick up on it, though she wasn’t sure if Isis did or not. She wasn’t mad at Theo for that, it was the truth after all but she was a little worried about the reactions that she might have gotten from them. Taz did say that the Coordinators were an accepting lot of the most part, maybe Isis was as well? Leon didn’t seem phased by it at all and that was very encouraging. Granted, if they knew about Dumuzi’s true biological sex then it might save for some awkwardness down the road… it was a little nerve wracking, she was comfortable with these two knowing about… that.
She looked towards Leon and Isis. ”I guess you two were going towards the concession stands were you? Mind if we tag along? I could use something to drink before we start. Thanks again for inviting us along, you two. I know this is a date for you but its always more fun when you have more friends.” Dumuzi wasn’t overly hungry, but she could use a drink about now, and Tenanye looked like she could use a little drink of something cool herself. Granted, it looked like poor Tenanye was starting to fall asleep while playing with the sooth bell that she had. She had to admit, that she was having a lot of luck finding fairy pokemon here… in Kalos, a region known for its fairy pokemon and she could only find 2. She must just have had some awful luck when looking for them, or she was looking in all the wrong areas for them. Maybe both… But now wasn’t the time that to dwell on her poor luck with the fairy kind, now was the time to get hydrated and get pumped up to go to a dance!

✿ ❀ Isis looked over Leon shrewdly as he hastily explained that Cape Brink was nothing like what she was suggesting. For his sake she hoped he was right. His argument took a bit of a blow however as he admitted he certainly wouldn't mind making out with her, and Isis's face turned a deep shade of pink, debating whether she should slap him or not for the comment. Ugh... This was why it was easier to talk to him over text. He didn't see her reactions and she could actually take time to think of a comment to blow him off for his lewd suggestions. Still, Leon insisted that he wasn't bringing her to the cape for anything like that, it was just the place that the islanders always held their party while they waited to watch the fireworks.
Isis continued to scrutinize his face, but he seemed to be telling the truth at least so Isis relaxed a bit. "Okay, fine.... I believe you." For now anyways, Isis finished in her thoughts. However her blush burned back up in anger as Leon teased her for thinking about things like making out on their first date. He knew that wasn't what this was about! Isis fumed in stunned silence, only able to spit out a few broken words. "Th-that's not...! Y-you--!" Isis stammered. Ugh! He was unbelievable. Isis folded her arms and practically puffed up like a Qwilfish.
Thankfully Dumuzi came onto the scene and tackled Leon, distracting them both, Theo approaching soon after. Isis greeted them both, giving a small wave. Gosh Dumuzi was so cute~ At this rate Isis was going to end up adopting her and Huey both. So it seemed Dumuzi had successfully convinced Theo to come along, that was good. Now they could all enjoy the dance party, but first Dumuzi brought up the concession stand. "Yeah, I was kinda getting the munchies too~ Come on, we'll all go." Isis agreed. Dancing was thirsty work after all, it was best they all get something to drink at least, if not a bite to eat as well.
Isis smiled as Dumuzi thanked them for the invite. "Aw you're welcome~ It's fine, really. We don't mind the company. Just because you two are with us doesn't make it any less of a date." Isis insisted, moving to one of the food stands as they got closer. What did she want anyways? "Um... Could I get a bottle of water annnnd......" She looked over the snack options. She wanted... Bread. "What are those?" She inquired, pointing out little white dumpling looking objects. "Red bean buns ma'am. Would you like a sample?" Isis nodded and took a piece to try. The breading was soft and slightly sweet, but the bean paste inside was what really gave it the sweet flavor. It was delicious! "Oooh I definitely need some of those." Yang glared at Autumn as she made her snarky comments. "Why don't you learn a bit more about Zoruas before you make that judgement." Yang commented heatedly. In order to mimic a voice, he had to hear the words be spoken first, thus he had to follow a person around a lot to increase his vocabulary in their voice, and then after hearing a lot of words, he could guess how it might sound and make an accurate estimate of how it might sound. It wasn't like he could hear someone's tone and magically be able to talk like them! These things took time! Furious, Yang morphed into the little boy he'd copied way back when at the Chingling Fair and stuck his tongue out at the Grovile once she had turned her back to him and started moving away. Autumn snorted a bit at the illusion's response. "You must be weird, because Leon's Zoroark has no such trouble." she commented, leaving it at that as they parted ways. She didn't feel like associating with Yang much. It had been irritating that he mimicked her trainer. The stupid little furball must have been raised by a chatot or something. The grovyle tried her hand at the fishing game again, but had worse luck this time around. She took her one ticket and continued on through the games.
Leon was relieved that Isis believed him. But he really couldn't resist throwing that tease her way, grin broadening at her response. "You make a cute qwilfish face." he commented. Then, they were distracted as the two youths rejoined the group. "Yeah. I'll probably grab something myself. And Kai here will likely want to eat everything." Leon replied, heading over to the concession stands with the group. Kai happily accepted Theo's attention, grunting in appreciation.
After Dumuzi thanked them for the invite, Isis responded before him. He couldn't help but feel a bit warm and fuzzy as Isis mentioned that having them there didn't make this any less of a date. "S'not a problem. We do enjoy your company, and well... when it comes to going to a dance party, the more the merrier, right?" Leon grinned, then found his way to a stand. After some consideration, he got himself a few grilled squid on sticks before stepping away. He didn't want to spend too much; He wasn't exactly made of money. He pulled one off of the stick and gave it to Kai as he rejoined Isis and the other two. "Mm. Well, the parties up at Cape Brink are pretty much always going on during Tanabata. They get really serious about it during this time." Leon answered after Theo questioned them. He bit into a piece of the squid he got, enjoying his choice of food.

Results It had been a surprisingly good day at the arcades today! 7 tickets earned!
Dumuzi breathed something of a mental sigh of relief as nobody seemed to care that she wasn’t exactly who she was presenting herself as. That made her feel all the better, and loosened her up enough to want to join the festivities of the dance even more! It was kind of a strange experience for her in a way, participating in a feminine manner and not being teased or put down for it by those around her. She was certainly starting to build up a little more confidence about interacting with the world as Feya when the time came to it. If the people around her were like this, then maybe they could also be the support that she might need later on down the road if she decided to take things to another step. It was something that she was looking forwards to seeing and for the first time sense she started this journey, she was feeling really confident and excited to see where her journey was going to go and where it was going to take her. It was true that she was excited about the aspect of Coordinating, but to fully embrace that and start to discover herself and figure out who she really was and what would make her happy, it seemed like it was going to be a good journey after all, instead of the longer, more stressful aspects of trying to live beyond her brothers achievements in order to get recognized by her parents. Now she was starting to wish that she had done things the right way so that she could stay in contact with her mom about this, she was sure that she would have supported her with all of this, but right now, she was going to have to figure out a way to tell her once she figured things out…
Dumuzi pulled herself from her thoughts as they got to the concession stands and looked around at what there was to eat and drink, maybe something small to snack on might be a good idea too, she didn’t want to go to the concessions during the dance and miss out on some of the fun just because she was getting a little peckish. Dumuzi didn’t take long to decide what she was going to have when she saw what Isis was enjoying. She grinned a bit and walked up behind Isis in the line and waited her turn. ”I’ll have what she’s having.” When Dumuzi claimed her scrumptious prize, she met up with the rest of her party. She let Tenanye have a bit of her bun and some of her water which pretty well put her to sleep right away. Dumuzi giggled and returned her Togepi to the pokeball where it could get some much needed rest. With her arms now free, she was able to enjoy the spoils of the concession stand and all the flavoured glory there was to be had from it. After she finished one of the buns and had some of her water she paused for a moment before looking at Isis. ”Hey Isis, can I ask you something? You’ve been to a lot of contests because of your work there, right? What kind of people are the contestants like, usually?” The question may have come out of left field to those around her, but Dumuzi was still trying to get a feel for what she was going to be getting herself into, and what sort of… mental preparations she may have to make before taking center stage as her feminine alter-ego. Dumuzi was quick to look over at Kai and give him a good rub on the bridge of his nose where he likely had trouble reaching.

Autumn returned to the accursed dart game, but still managed to do horribly. She took the two tickets, frustrated with the game. By the time they got off the boat, Alex was sporting a chunk of hair dried straight up in the air thanks to the wind. He'd put Moon Pie away, deciding maybe she could use a nap. "Okay okay, which one next?" Chica pointed the way towards a giant wheel. "Oh! Maybe Patches would like to play this one!" Alex released the Bulbasaur onto the ground. "Buuulba..." Alex waited expectantly. "Um, sir, are you going to-""Sh sh sh. He's getting ready." Cabbage Patch lay on the floor like a sack of potatoes. "Sir, the line is getting long and-""Mmmmmm. MMMMMMMMM."
Chica let loose a tiny spark of electricity. Patche's leg twitched and a vine shot out, whacking the wheel into a spin. It came out on a five. "Wow, good job Patches!" Alex hefted the Bulbasaur into a hug, which she hung from like a limp baby lion just born to the kings of pride rock. "Buuuuuuuul."
Alex decided that for the next game, a ring toss, he would have Chica and Patches help him out by each throwing a ring. Chica missed because she was one foot tall and had the throwing strength of a wet noodle. Patches missed because he didn't throw it. And Alex managed to get the ring on a bottle because even a monkey can write a sonnet if it tries enough times.
Autumn wasn't really having a good time now. She tried the ring toss, only landing one ring on the bottle, earning 2 tickets. The fall colored reptile collected her measly winnings and left the area for a bit to vent in an abandoned alley for a bit before deciding to keep playing for now.
