After the failed attempt at appealing to Trumpeter and Joe's visit, Hatsu found himself in need of a direction. He could have gone back to the shelter, but he had asked the trustworthy companions he'd won with Kyuzo from the JPs faction to look after them for now. All he and Seika had to worry about at the moment were the Septentriones, the devils, and Trumpeter's approval...they weren't having much luck with those just yet, admittedly, but there were still hours left in the day to spend...if not all that many.
"Aa...maybe if we asked Fumi?" he thought quietly, wondering if the woman who knew the most about the terminals and stuff they didn't know might not be a good person to ask about how to win over Trumpeter and use him best to stop Benetnasch. Worth a shot? Maybe...just maybe...

Still, people really did seem to have a hard time learning, and Izumi's forces crushed another uprising of fanatic locals... right before she knelt down next to them, took their hands, and spoke words of encouragement to get back on the right track.
