"You know I love you too much not to forgive you." Lily replies. "But make sure it doesn't happen again, or else." She holds her right hand in front o the half demon's face. Suddenly the Elementalist's hand is ingulfed in flames. "Got it?" the flames extinguish themselves as suddenly as they had sprung up, and Lily's hand is unscathed.

"Don't have to tell me twice." Nathan says. "I wasn't going to let that happen again anyway. I've come to realize that I love you too much." With that the half demon embraces her, careful not to hurt her, tears of joy running down his face.
Darian walks up to the couple. "Hi," he say to Lily. "I'm Darian Moonleaf."

"I love you too." Lily says returning the embrace, tears of joy running down her face as well. When she hears a voice she turns to face the new being, who introduces himself as Darian Moonleaf. "Lily Parker, Nathan's girlfirend."
(OOC: For those of you who are wondering what Nathan doesn't plan to let happen agian, it's like this. Lily and Nathan were going out. Nathan was cheating on Lily. Lily walked it and torched Nathan's apartment before breaking up with Nathan.)

"A pleasure to meet you." Darian says, taken aback by how emotionless Lily sounded as she told hiim she was Nathan's girlfriend.
(OOC:Yup, when Nathan was scolding himself for blowing his chances with Lael it was because he wanted to forget what he'd done and move on.)

Lael is more than a little suprised by the newcommer. "I didn't know Nathan had a girlfriend," she says. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Lael," she says, holding out a hand to shake.

Lily coldly shakes Laels hand before responding to what Darian said, "And what of you? Aren't you human?" Of course he isn't that would make things to easy.

"Well," Lily says. "I like Nathan's imperfections. That's the one thing that would get annoying about dating an elf. They're so perfect. Graceful, kind intelligent, wise. After a while perfection would just get to be too much."

"I agree that perfection would get annoying, but I think that Nathan would be the first one to point out that Darian isn't perfect. He certainly likes to point out his imperfections as often as possible. Not that Darian doesn't have many good qualities," she adds hurridly, realizing that what she said could have been taken offensively, even though she didn't mean it that way.
