Well, I've been working on drawing this pic for a while, and today I finally got it all down. And since I saved it alot, I figured I'd post these all up to show what I go through when I make my art. First, I start out with this basic pencil sketch that I clean up and darken with pencil and eraser, before I scan it into my computer.  After that, I tried a little something different this time. I usually color it all in Photoshop, but tonight I decided to try laying down the base colors in Open Canvas before trying anything else. That looked like this.  After I got the base colors squared away, I went to work in Photoshop adding all the bells and whistles like shading, adding more detail, coloring bits I'd missed, adding the detail to the eyes, as well as doing a little more editing on the colors. That turned it into this.  And finally, after a bunch of time and effort, a little more playing on Photoshop, and testing out some new stuff, I finally ended up with this, the final, and finished, product.  I put alot of work into this pic, so, what do you guys think? Good? Bad? Let me know! 3nodding

looks like you're getting better at drawing, and the coloring is as good as it ever was. i guess she's standing in tall grasses?
but as great as it is, i don't think it belongs here.

Isn't that technically the 'Lance of Romulus'? @ The drawring: Yes, wrong area, and yes, Chris is 100% right on that one. The effects in the last version cheapened it, and the boobs need serious un-sucking. Again, in agreement, beyond that it's good. Just in the wrong place. @ Pat: Put some meat on them bones. @ X: o_O; @ Sean's crossdressing friends: Did Enki hit on them? ...that's a serious question. @ anything in general: I have long hair. Too long. So long that when I go to work I've needed to do this:  ...yes, I have an effing pony tail. Effing.

iunno, i thought you had a leaner face than that. in this pic, one can really see how round it is. but ponytails are awwwwright with me.
the only pics i got from kat's visit... i'm horrible, i know. we were too busy watching paradise kiss and she was too busy sleeping to do much else. she took a couple of me, though. smile

That's kind of a really awful picture, kind of skews it some. Taken at an upward angle, which is why it probably looks a little off... also that I'd just gotten back from a 11 hour work shift when I took it. I'd take a better one at some point, but I honestly don't care... it looks like crap anyways. rofl
