Lilith replies, her keen senses already awake and easily picking up Lloyd's mutterings as she toweled the sweat from her forehead. Without missing a beat, she rolled right into some jumping jacks, giving Lloyd a rather fun show.

"But I do work out, I slay things." He gave as an answer to his Paladin lover. By now, he knew not to say certain things around Lilith. She had the hearing of a dog. Then she began her jumping jacks, it goes without saying that it was one of his favorite exercises to watch.
"Speaking of slay, you're going to kill me like this for real one of these days. I may actually die happy."

"You haven't killed anything since those bandits about a week back..." Lilith answered, continuing her count in her head as they bantered back and forth.
Eclipse, seeing his owners leaving the house, quickly got to its feet and followed Lloyd outside. While he wasn't sure what Lilith was doing, it looked sure looked like fun. Bounding over, the hell-puppy skipped and bounced around Lilith's feet.
"Pft, not in this condition I'm not..." Lilith added, her nod towards her belly completely lost in all the jumping she was doing.

"So I might be overdue for a little workout myself" He chuckled, maybe he should work out with her, just so Lilith wouldn't feel bad. Lloyd was never against it, he was just easily bored by exercising, wasn't fun enough for him. He whistled for the dog to come over near him, not wanting it to accidentally get stepped on.
He stared some at her middle as she motioned towards it. "A little belly don't hurt anyone. Besides your upper half still draws more attention these days, more so right now than usual."

"A little belly might not, but in another couple of months it ain't going to be so little..." Lilith stated, completing her final jumping jack. Wiping the sweat from her hands, Lilith adjusted her shirt to compensate for all the jiggling that just happened. "So what's on the schedule for today handsome?"

"You'll be fine, I'm sure. I don't know why this would worry you. Once we go back to the temple, we'll be doing so much stuff that won't be a factor."
Lloyd crossed his arms some, well, it was good while it lasted. On to actually doing something for a change. "I heard the guy that left Scarlett with the responsibility of taking care of a child by herself was in town. I think we should tell him she's doing just fine without him." He said in an angered tone.

"Oh is that right?" Lilith's attention was captured as soon as Lloyd mentioned Scarlett's ex-lover and father of Roxanne. "Damn right we're going to find his a**, and we'll do more than that... Just lemme get some real clothes first."Wandering back into house, Lilith quickly stripped from her sweaty exercise clothes and put on some more normal clothes. It was a tight fit around her chest at the moment, but she would borrow some of Scarlett's maternity clothes when she got bigger. "Why'd he come back? Is he brave or just stupid?"

"Did she...did she really say that?"
Lloyd must have been affecting Lilith with his colorful way at words. He crossed his arms and waited for her return. "The hills are alive." He teased her about her choice at real clothing with a brief chuckle. "But really though, I'm not sure. I doubt it's to see his daughter."
Patting Lilith on the shoulder, Lloyd walked to the one place he'd thought he'd find such a guy like him, the pub.

"Even if he was here to do so, we wouldn't let him..." Lilith replied, closing the door behind them as she following Lloyd into town and towards the pub. Being a paladin, she had little reason to ever step in one before. The local churches had always provided her with a free room and food. After stepping foot inside the pub she was glad she never had too. Resisting the urge to cover her nose and mouth, Lilith hung close to Lloyd. The taproom reeked of unwashed bodies, stale beer, and burnt meat.

The pub went silent, watching Lilith up and down. How could they not take notice of such a beauty? Turns out, the father was there. Lloyd knew those distinct red eyes anywhere.
Mathias was his name, clad in black and gold armor with a hood and cape, he came for something special. He stares at Lloyd and his companion when they came forward. He felt the holy presence of a paladin on her.
"Lloyd, you really shouldn't bring a girl like that to a place like this. Especially in her condition."

Lilith clenched her teeth to keep herself from saying anything. She hated the way the man looked at her. Her paladin nature coming to the fore, Lilith gently pushed past Lloyd and without a word gave the man a mean right hook to the jaw. The blow easily knocking the man off the barstool and onto the floor.

"Easy there, Lilith, we'll do that later."
What was it that was coming over this woman? Perhaps she hated him that much? In any case, Mathias picked himself off the ground. "You made me bleed my own blood..." He mutters under his breath.
"She'll do more than that. What the hell are you doing here, Mathias?"
"I have my reasons. I'm looking for someone."
The gaze of Mathias pierced through Lloyd. There was something very different about him now than from what he once saw. A malice, something very evil in his presence.

Allowing Lloyd to pull her backwards, Lilith maintained her glare as Mathias picked himself up from the floor. "Damn right I will..." she muttered under her breath. How dare he do that to a sweet girl like Scarlett."Oh no you're not. You're gettin' right back on that horse of yours and crawling back under whichever rock you call home." Lilith demanded, the holy furor in her eyes matching Mathias' evil gaze.

Lloyd felt an uneasy feeling in his heart. What was this, why did he suddenly feel terrified of Mathias. What the heck was going on? Mathias looked at everyone in the bar, then back at Lilith with a shrug. "This won't be our last meeting." He walked towards them, stopping just a bit behind Lloyd. "After all, I have business with the blood knight."
That being said, Mathias made a proper exit out of the pub. He left without a trace of his whereabouts. Lloyd was frozen in place by his words and presence.

"Good riddance..." Lilith muttered with a huff as she watched Mathias leave the bar. Ignoring the looks she got, Lilith walked over to the bar and took the seat recently vacated by Mathias. "Get me some hot tea." She stated, sliding the barkeep a few silver pieces. The seats on either side of her quickly emptied as their patrons distanced themselves from the angry pregnant paladin.
