"It is alright, little one. Your father is here to protect." he said as he then looked over at Charlotte, "Do you not feel rage or animosity towards me for what I did? For the innocence that I destroyed and the death of that man?" he asked as he would gently place Mirai back into her crib.

Would you fight me?" he asked as he held out his hand at Mirai, and formed a dazzling violet gem along with a beautifully crafted chain. Placing the pendant around her neck, Divine would lean over and kiss Mirai on her forehead, "Whenever you want daddy or if mommy and you are in trouble, just think about me and I will come. You understand?" he asked her knowing that despite being able, she was able to understand him.

After the kishin threat has been dealt with, a new threat will be coming. I trust you will choose the correct path to follow." Divine said coldly as he created a portal, "Mirai has the blood of the Demon King and Witch of Nightmares coursing through her veins. Even if you are a close friend to the Shinigami, soon they will come to see her as a threat to not only them, but the world and seek to end her life. When that day comes, you can trust that I will unleash the full force of my fury against them and anyone who sides with them."

Moving his hand upwards, Divine would wipe the tear off her face, "You are changing, Lady Charlotte." he said as he looked down at Mirai, "You seem to become more and more emotional every time I see you. Almost human-like." Divine said as he would grab the back Charlotte's head, and move so that the two would kiss one another, "I don't like seeing you cry." he said as he then turned away, "We might be on different paths right now, but soon we will be together and become a true family."

With those last words, Divine would leave through the portal.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas stepped out of Mirai's portal, looking up at the now-familiar sky of Charlotte's realm. Her condo was nearby. The black sky with countless stars was more comfortable to him since he had become more used to it over the past year. Still, it felt strange being in a witch realm. Well, maybe that would go away too. He wondered if Charlotte was around as he waited for Mirai to appear. And I just want to show them. [
