The sudden breaking of a table in half had Marcus making a very small, but audible frustrated noise. He wanted to take Dis and just- Ew, even I wouldn't want that. Well, not in that context. He broke a ******** table. We could have used that ******** table I just- There will be other tables. And you can stab him after the mission. Or get- ASDFGTYHJKLTHETABLE You need to relax Marcus~ You have other things you can work with. It does not help that this mission is like herding a bunch of headless chickens. Oh zombie chickens?Marcus stopped conversing with his weapon after that. Looking at the broken table he sighed and rubbed his head. Lovely. He was ready to get back to work when Cass got him on the shoulder. Bad mood? Gone. "Hey, and yeah that's fine. Maybe just keep one here if you guys are heading out? We're still working on the barricades so not paying much mind to what's outside. We'll keep a spot open so you can get back in. Once done, you guys can come back and we seal it off? Otherwise, I am hoping that they'll be smart enough to focus on their job while letting others do their own. But, we'll see." Arms crossing he nodded. "And by hope I mean if they don't I might just flip my s**t on them."

Sydney nodded at Candace, respectfully. "I believe you both were there when I came out of the pods, It's a pleasure to meet you both when I'm not so... confused." she said calmly. But her mind was stuck on his comment about how the monster hadn't died correctly. "If it didn't... turn into fear when dying, then it wasn't a monster like you thought?" she asked, a bit confused. She'd never seen a monster--other than that yeti. And they said something was wrong with it. But she didn't argue, merely kept Izy at the ready, turning so she could watch the wall and still not seem rude when talking to the more experienced hunters.

"Mist is pretty flexible," Jordan said neutrally. "They've got to be good at everything; they fill in for any of the other division roles when numbers fall short."
"Weapons feed on Fear, the stuff that Halloween creatures are made out of," he explained. He patted Ferros's handle. "It's the power source for their charged attacks. There's some degree of ambient Fear in the environment, and they also get what we produce, being human, but creatures are pure concentrated Fear, so it's much more of a charge when they get to hit. They enjoy it. I'm sure you've noticed." He smirked slightly.
When Bix waved him back over, he said, "Back in a minute. Keep an eye out," and jerked his head at the swirling snow outside and went to talk to the other Sun intermediate.
He listened to what Bix had to say and hummed thoughtfully. "She needs to have a chance to get in a shot if she can," he said. "She's short-range, but she's always going to be short-range with that weapon, and if she's been assigned Sun, she's going to be on the offensive and getting up close and personal with the freaks. If she'd rather stay back as a guard, grab someone from Moon or Life to back her up, but we can't hold her back if she wants to fight just because it's dangerous. It's always going to be dangerous."

"You're right. I guess she should fight." Bix looked at the door though. "Still worried about this door. These outside attacks are only distracting us from whatever happened in here."
Basically Bix still felt they needed a guard.

"You're right. Grab someone from Mist, maybe - who else has a ranged weapon?" Jordan glanced around the room, checking. "Easier for someone with long range to stand guard and also potentially have a shot at whatever it is that's howling out there."

Bix nodded to Jordan and finally moved away from his post. He wasn't sure who in Mist could help. Maybe Cass? Or perhaps she had a newb to help? The albino weaved through the working crews until he found her. "Hey Cass." Bix gave a wave. "I am going to help withthe yeti." He waved his bow a bit in emphasis. "But I am worried about the barricaded door. Whatever destroyed inside of this building was not a yeti. Those things are just interrupting our work in here. Do you have a Mist who can guard the door, in case they manage to open it when we are fighting the yeti?" Who knows what was on the other side.

"Have you tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in~?" She asked with a teasing grin, curling her arms so she was giving him an actual hug now. Poor little Gale! She was confident he'd figure it out. "We're doing okay. Just clearing the ******** of debris. We figure it best to let the trainees take care of the monsters if we see another one, since this exercise is not only for us to learn to lead but for them to get a taste of their jobs. And with all of us running in at once it makes things too chaotic and difficult. So we're going to let the Mist and Sun Lambs take care of it and jump in only if they need it. You're free to let Sydney and Dillon do whatever you like, though. Just thought I'd let you know." She swayed from side to side with the young boy in a gentle rocking motion, looking to Sydney as he introduced them.
Candace smiled. "Hey! Yeah, I remember Sydney from the pod room. Good to see you again! How you holding up?" Hmm? The monster? Oh.. "I have a theory but...I could very easily be wrong. There's something off about it though, for sure." Candace leaned down to press a friendly kiss to Gale's temple, giving him an affectionate squeeze before releasing the boy. Of course she couldn't resist ruffling his hair. "You be good, 'kay? Just call if you need help."

Rep snorted at Jordan's comment about Mist. To Rep that translated to "Bitches who aren't good at much because they are women or homos".
Tracey was once again demanded to be quiet, though he seemed to have a bit more of a spirit of rebellion thanks to the conversation, talking about fear seemed to get him annoyingly fiesty and Rep found it a lot harder to shut him up. Rep frowned slightly. It was weird having the concience in your head tell you to do things it normally demanded you not to.
As Jordan walked off to speak to Bix, Rep eyed the axe with a very faint little smirk, he hadn't realised it was an almost vampiric effect involved in the weapons, it somehow made it all the more delicious, he could actually actively go /after/ that rush, that charge, the moment when he felt like an absolute god on wings of sheer power. All he had to do was /fight/. And he /liked/ fighting. He lived for fighting. Goddamn it'd be so ******** good to hunt down every guy who'd ever ******** with him back home and show them how s**t their little flip knives and machetes were in the face of power. It'd be delicious.
was that a note of /pleading/ in the angel's tone?
He smirked. Not such a ******** nice guy now.
<"Do you want it?"> he crooned teasingly.
He chuckled out loud.

Between Bix and Marcus, it sounded like they both needed someone to stay there to play guard, and shooting a look towards the barricaded door she could tell why that was. "Hmmm, we have Mercedes and Sydney who are both long range. I'd have to ask Candace which of the two she'd rather leave behind, though." she answered. "Let me go check with her and then I'll get back to you." she offered to both boys before she crossed the room to go to their acting leader.
"Candace." she half-called, patting the older Mist on the shoulder. "We've had two requests to have one of our members stay here to play guard. Bix would like it if it was a long-range dealer. Do you have preferences on that?" she asked, then looked to Sydney, waving with one hand. "You holdin' up alright?" she asked, familiar with the other girl from their External Mission.

Cass's question got an honest, almost blinding smile from the usually serious girl. "I'm... I'm doing good," she said. "This is very intense, but I'm willing to do whatever you decide," she added, glancing at Candace and Gale as well. "I'm acting as a Death Division for this mission, if that has an impact on your decision," she added, her expression growing determined. "But I believe I am very much meant to be a Mist." She was all srsface over her position as a Misty.

Candace had been on her way to ask the Life leader if there was anything he could do about her head until she heard her name and a hand on her shoulder made her turn on her heel to face Cass. "Hmmm~? Oh, we have? Uh.." That didn't sound bad. They did have three Mists. "Sydney's assisting Death and I'd rather not screw over Gale, so Mercedes can handle it."At Sydney's enthusiasm Candace felt a swell of pride in her chest, grinning at the trainee. "Good to hear! I feel the same way." Aria had asked her what division she would be if there was no Mist, but really if there was no Mist she wouldn't be happy. She belonged in Mist, she was sure of it. She couldn't just do one single thing her entire life. "So we'll place Mercedes as a guard, gives her a break from cleanup. And it lets her practice with her weapon some more since she was mentioning having issues with it to me before this." Candace said with a smile. It let her play as a Moon and Sun, too. All the opportunities! ALL OF THEM! "I'm going to go see the doctor about my head now. I'll be right back. Just gimme a shout, 'kay?" She stepped back away from the girls, waiting for any kind of protest of confirmation she would have to deal with before wandering over to where the doctor was perched so comfortably on the counter. Candace pouted and leaned on the counter. "Doctor, is there anything you can do about my head? I trust you over Robert and Before." With good reason, really. Really. "My ears are ringing, my head is throbbing and every time I move my head too fast to one side or the other it's like some kind of out of body experience. And not in a good way."

"Sounds like a plan." Cass agreed, looking to find Mercedes before crossing to greet her. "Mercedes! Marcus has requested a guard for the Moons working on repairs and Bix would like it if that guard could also keep an eye on the barricaded door. Think you're up for the challenge?" she asked, before nodding towards where Marcus and Bix were.

"Far be it from me to deny you, my dear. Lets see the damage then, shall we?" Quietly amused, the doctor gently gripped her chin, inspecting her eyes and a number of other delectable bits and pieces at his leisure.

"You can deny me, I know you're quite capable of it. But thank you~." Candace giggled as he held her chin, a small smile on her face as she tried not to look away. She kept wanting to check on the Mists! "..I am being serious, by the way. About my head." She reminded him when she noticed his gaze drifting in directions they didn't need to go. Time and place, dear H. Time and place. And in front of everyone when she hadn't even told any of these people of her..relationship status was not the appropriate time or place. ..Though having him close like this was very nice and tempting. She cleared her throat and pushed those thoughts away. "Do I look okay? I feel okay other than the things I told you.."

The yeti awoke, wobbled slightly on it's feet and knuckles, and surged forward. Jerry was ready. He could do this. He could feel it all rising up in him again, all that frustration, all that pain... Aria had been good in recruiting him for this. This was what he NEEDED. Jerry might have had trouble expressing this sort of frustration, feel shame in what small outburst and sloppy mess he had become, but the Yeti... the yeti didn't give a damn. He threw his head back and howled. It felt good. He thundered forward, heavy fist-falls and slap of his feet on the snow like the rhythm to the wind's melody. Something moved up ahead- he wasn't quite close enough to the facility for it to be a fresh outpost, this final golem had been stationed further away. He didn't slow. He could do this, he would crush everything he was a SUN HUNTER he was trained for battle he could feel it in his heart, lock his mind on it, and it wasn't until he was face to face did he realize it was the last thing he expected- a bear. The white-coated creature reared back immediately, about to turn tail and run, but the yeti was on it, crying out madly as he hefted the thing up like an oversized teddy bear, ready to throw it out of his way.... He wobbled in place. Mission. Mission. He had to just get to the facility, no time for.. for... Jerry set the bear down, and it immediately reared, ready to defend itself with a bellow and a swipe of sharp claws. So small so smalllll look how small it was if he was himself, it could have eaten him in two bites but it was like a toy look at it he probably shouldn't have finished that flask before embarking on the last golem but... but it cushioned the pain, it had been the right choice. Oh, Bear, don't worry, he wasn't going to hurt you, he was just... just... trying to feel better about everything, ok? As the animal swung and roared, he lurched forward to wrap his massive arms around it, rocking slightly, it was ok, Bear, it was ok, they could be friends, they could build an igloo and live here forever and never have to worry about anyone else again- The bear had had enough, suddenly clamping down on Jerry's throat with massive teeth, raking through his thick main. The Yeti gave a roar, suddenly grabbing the Bear in both massive fists, HOW DARE IT HE WAS JUST BEING NICE HE WAS ALWAYS BEING NICE AND PEOPLE KEPT BITING HIM AND WHY DID YOU BREAK HIS HEART BEAR WHY the Yeti suddenly bit down, ripping the now ex-creature open like a dog with a rag doll. It was several minutes before Jerry was aware of what he was doing, and somehow- probably thanks to his alcoholic buffer, he wasn't disgusted by it. Although his stomach was aching fiercely. Complete the mission. Eye on the goal. No more side tracks. A tight whine escaped his throat, carried by the wind as he knuckled forward towards the distant sight of the facility through the haze of snow. He picked up speed, and through the snow, anyone watching would get only a flicker of red-stained fur through the flurries a moment before several tons of Yeti suddenly barreled through the wall in an eruption of cement and insulation and wood and a mighty, ear-splitting roar. HP: 100 Target: Rep, Clerise, Sasha Damage: 1
