✘✘Dr. Howard✘✘ You can trust me.. Jacob looked at the new commer in surprise, who the hell was she? His plan was falling apart, it was so perfect to. They were to simply eat and sleep so that he may test on them. He desprately needed subjects to figure out how to control the virus he infected himself with. Surely if he could obtain Jasmine's powers then he might stand a chance angainst the mutations negative effects. He yanked the needle out of his neck then tossed it down. Maybe he could cut into her skull and feast upon her brain since thats really the source of it and possibly eat her heart like Evelyn's native remark. For Natalie he was going to inject some untested syrums into her blood stream, watch what happens and take notes just like he did the other patients. That idiotic nurse really thought they were doing this find a cure for the people but really it was his quest for power. Ultimate power. This choas needed to be taimed and he was going to do it. Own the land, the people... Everything. Alice starred around blankly as if nothing had happend. "You all need sleep." She kept saying, over and over like a broken record. She probably was broken from saying it to every test subject they had, much like an over loaded computer that justed crashed. Though her hardware was beyond repair. "Relax. You can trust me," He said, gritting his teeth. "I'm a doctor."..I'm a doctor. ((Thought I'd shed some light on my doctor. ))

Bartholomew turned around the next corner, into a wide, open, public square. It was full of zombies. Fat ones, skinny ones, fresh ones and rotten ones. Blue ones, green ones, girly ones and twirly ones. Bartholomew brought his sights upon the nearest one and stopped dead in his tracks. "Rachel?" He asked it uncertainly, drawing it's head up to the sound of his voice. Eye sockets crying blood, the blond raggedy woman let out a low moan. "Rachel, what have I told you about yelling at guests?" He asked, stiffly walking up to it, so that he was about five feet away. "Rachel! STOP MAKING THAT ******** NOISE!" He shouted, making fifty or so heads swivel slowly in his direction. He screamed, whipping out his dual pistols, pointing them towards her head. "GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD! MAKE IT STOP!" He yelled, the moans growing loader and loader, sending tears down Bartholomew's face. The zombie lurched at him, and a click went off in his head, the silent *pop* as his gun went off, and Bartholomew blacked out.
White noise surrounded him, he was floating, naked. He couldn't move. All he felt were his fingers, twitching rapidly. He closed his eyes, feeling the wind stream by his face, hearing nothing but that blasted white noise.
And all of the sudden, it was over. He opened his eyes, finding himself standing were he closed them, his arms down at his sides, his pistols loose in his fingers. The barrels were red. Around him, bodies were strewn here and there, gore and blood and rotten flesh discarded all over the place. There were blisters on both of Bartholomew's pointer fingers. Calmly turning around and walking back to the group, he grinned as he turned the corner. "No zombies over here, y'all! Straight shot to the scrap yard!" He said, smiling as if nothing was wrong in the world.

Jasmine Langdon Jasmine bites her lip... Could her telekinesis be that strong to pick up an actual human? But she never was able to levitate one object and throw another one, so she could be doing more harm to both of them. She looks over to the doctor and nurse. Narrowing her eyes. Who is good, who is bad? Should she save them, or one? Or leave them behind? And this new person! She wasn't sure if she should be with TWO people, it was bad enough to deal with one that she's not used to. Her brain searched for solution, with so little time to react, and so little options... She glared at the doctor, trying to stretch her empathy out. Maybe she would have time to sort this out; What she felt was a wave of emotions. But she tried to sort through them without wasting much energy, she got what little she had managed to conjure up, the explosion wearing her out.She felt... Malicious intentions... What did this mean? She decided that the doctor was to be kept within her sight, at ALL times. Now, the nurse. Looking over to the blank stare, reaching her empathy out, she felt... Hopeful, tiredness, helpfulness, determination... So, two different doctors, both had different vibes. She wondered if the other knew what the other wanted. Going to the newcomer, she glanced at her, she didn't feel the need to use it on her. Obviously she seemed like she wanted to help. No matter what, Turning back to Natalie, whose eye's seem to droop every second. "Natalie," She whispered, "The doctor is bad news. I just read their emotions. The nurse seems to be the good one, but I think the doctor is manipulating her. I don't know." She cut her eyes at the newcomer as she came over, "Do you think you can carry her? I think I might got these two, I think it's the doctor we need to worry about the most, but do NOT underestimate the nurse! Keep your eye on both of them." She'd explain later on how she obtained this information. Right now, what was important was getting the hell out of here. And fast. "I don't trust you, at all. Doctor or not." Jasmine snorted to him after he said that. And truth is, she didn't trust ANYONE here, but she had to trust Natalie and the new comer.

sweatdrop No one has to read this, it has nothing to do with what is going on now. I figured it could better explain some things about my ladies.
A look back...
"Two hundred and seventy nine....two hundred and eighty...two hundred..." counting was heard at squat push rack by none other than, Tina. She was pushing up exactly five hundred pounds. This monster of a woman was the human shape of, Tina? She stood five foot four inches wearing one those under armor shirts and basketball shorts, with a physique that didn't show she was a body builder. Instead it looked more like a slightly buffed out version of a female gymnast. In fact, one couldn't ever tell she spent most of her free time in the gym lifting all these weights!
"This is why you will never get a date at the gym..." Desirae commented proceeding to pull herself up on the same bar, Tina, was using to do squats. Slowly and gracefully she leveled her slender, yet lean, body horizontal to the ground and held it there while her power house of a little sister kept counting. "You just intimidate the men here." she continued to complain while lifting her body perpendicular to the floor. "Then again, maybe you're just scared of guys and this is a sort of self defense mechanism for you!" Desirae joked flipping herself off the bar in front and in front of, Tina.
"Arg! Shut up!" Tina yelled throwing the bar to the matted gym floor hard and a face as red as a tomato, and not from the exercise she was doing. "Not all of us are graceful and charming like you are, Dezzy!" Tina quipped looking back at her older sister who was wearing something similar to herself only instead of basketball shorts it was bicycle shorts. "Besides, if I want to beat Aunt Elle, I need to get stronger." she hinted as to why she worked so hard.
"It would take a warhead to knock out Aunt Elle! What makes you think you can beat her just by working your muscles ragged?" questioned Desirae while walking with her sister to the weight bench. "I know you're tough but that woman...she's...well in a league FAR beyond what we've experienced."
After setting one hundred and fifty pounds to each side of the barbell, equaling three hundred pounds, Tina, laid back and got ready to start bench pressing; "League nothing, shear power will beat her. Just you watch." She had wasted no time in lifting the three hundred pounds and starting to push it up and eased it back down and repeat.
"Tina, you can lift the FRONT end of a car by yourself. You can push and pull way too heavy a weight for very long repetitions. Can't that be enough for you? You have to be able to beat her to be satisfied in life?" Desirae questioned her as she proceeded to hang upside down from a pull up bar and did hanging sit ups.
Four hours later, after the gym and showers.
"I could go for a smoothie!" Desirae chirped wanting to go hang around some place with stores. "I won't take 'no' for an answer either! You always coop yourself up alone and never go out and do anything." complained the frustrated woman trying to push around her little sister. Easier said than done!
Tina thought a moment and spoke; "I could use a protein shake and a new punching bag. Maybe new sparing gloves too..." she pondered absentmindedly accepting Desirae's offer.
In the middle of walking around a crowded shopping center, some jet engines were faintly heard. No one heard them but within seconds heavy gunfire rung out as people screamed and ran around frantic. Some how or another, a robot resembling a flying torso with two heavy machine guns was soaring around and shooting everything it could. This started the robot rebellion.
"The hell?!" Tina yelled as she and Desirae darted for cover behind a building. "Is that thing some weapon sent by enemies of our nation?" she asked looking the other direction to see if it was clear.
Desirae was patting herself down looking for her gun; "Forget where they came from! Why don't we have a gun?!"
The floating metallic monster had spotted them and had them in its sights. The bone chilling whir of the barrels warming up on the gun were enough to make the girls dart off for better cover. "Split up! It can't chase us both!" Desirae ordered taking a hard right into an alley while Tina took to the left. The robot had been hell bent on tracking down Desirae and was fast on her heels. "As long as Tina is safe..." she thought to herself veering to the left down another alley which turned out to be a dead end. The metal monster warmed up its guns again as Desirae stood there and clenched her eyes shut. "End of the line you over grown paper weight!" Tina exclaimed jumping from a fire escape and crashing down the the menace, slamming it down into the concrete causing it to some how break down.
"What are you doing here?! I was going to be the hero this time!" Desirae complained kicking the now lifeless bot. "Can't be a hero if you aren't alive to tell the tale! Besides, I wouldn't ditch you like that." Tina comforted walking down the alley to the exit.
As she was just about to step out of the alley, another bot flew in front of her. Tina's eyes widened as it appeared out of no where. "Tina! NO!" Desirae refused to let her little sister die like that. With some sort of inhuman speed she raced at Tina and pushed her aside just as the bullets were firing. Desirae had replaced Tina and was getting shot by tens of hundreds of bullets. "Dez....DESIRAE!" Tina yelled in terror and refusal of her sister's demise. Furious, she got up and charged at the bot. Leaping into the air she held her right fist in her left hand high above her head and slammed it down on the killers head causing a large dent in its armor. "Every one of you will pay! None of you will leave alive! and as for the one controlling these things...You're next! I'll make you suffer! By my hands alone, you will writhe in pain. A slow death awaits you!"
Tina's threats fell on deaf ears as she continued her rampage of the bots, tossing them around like they were crumpled pieces of paper. Bending their metal bodies and tearing them apart like it was nothing for her. She must have taken down fifteen or so before one crept up and shot her in the back several times. "No...Tina..." Desirae cried softly as tears rolled down her blood spotted face as she tried to reach out to one of the two remaining members of her family.
Within an hour several soldiers had marched into that town. The commanding officer was none other than, Elle. Wearing full military fatigues, with a beret and carrying an automatic gun. She knew her nieces were some where in this city. "Where?" she asked and looked around frantically. Just as she asked that three bots flew fast in one direction and then a line of five more followed. Elle, quickly followed them like a cat following a mouse.
When she came to the spot that the robots were circling, she noticed a figure standing in the middle of them. A rather muscular woman, standing. Not moving. But as one bot got closer, the woman thrashed it causing it to malfunction. Two more bots shot at her landing hits in her shoulder and leg. This caused her to kneel and cry out in pain. Elle, recognized the cry as her niece, Tina.
With a fiery fury, Elle stormed the squad of bots. She first jumped over the one closest to her and fired her gun at the one on the opposite side. After that she took off, swiftly, to the left, closing in fast with a grenade pin pulled in her left hand. The targeted bot took aim but was too late, Elle had already punched the grenade into the eye socket of the bot and had taken off again toward the one she had jumped over. Sliding under the one she had jumped over, she kicked it high in the air and shot it from below in its engines.
The other two settled down on either side of Elle. She jerked her head to the right looking at that one and that one only. Her eyes were cold and looked liked she was blind to any sort of humanity she had. Dropping her gun she reached to the back of her belt, placing her hand on the handle of a wakizashi. Like a blur she was gone from sight, only to reappear under the one she was staring at and gave it a sharp upper slice. While in the air the last bot took aim but it was too late. She had already crashed down slicing that one in two.
After Elle came to, she threw down her weapon and rushed to Tina. "Oh please be ok! Answer me! Tina!" she called out but Didn't get an answer. Tina was trying her hardest to get back on her feet, like it was something she needed to do. "Aunt Elle?!" Desirae cried dragging her body by the only working arm she had. "Not you too!" Elle cried as tears flowed freely running to Desirae and holding her for dear life.
Desirae's vision was fading, so all she could see was the figure of her monster of a little sister standing back up;"Good, shes.......ok..." smiled a relieved elder sister as she drifted out. "Nothing will ever take me down...I am the wall that protects what's left of my family." whispered Tina as she lost consciousness while on her feet.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Hello Darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk to you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain, Still remains, Within the sound of silence.
In restless dreams I walked alone, Narrow streets of cobblestone. 'Neath the halo of a street lamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp, When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light, That split the night, And touched the sound of silence. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Morgan Duke was wandering away from the school which he had taught at for many years, and only took a moment to look back before he continued on his way. He had heard many sounds of fighting sicne the infection had begun, but he had not run out to help, nor to get killed in the process. His school had run out of the resources he needed, so now he was on his own and looking for some place he could claim his own and squat at for a while.
He wasn't looking for company, but any help in this horrid wasteland of a city would be most welcome. He was horrible at fighting, but he'd brough along a cricket bat as a means to defend himself. Most of the time he was fairly good at sneaking around and not getting caught by the generally low-minded infected, but he was growing more determined to end this conflict whether it be by finding a cure or a weapon to kill all of the infected. He might as well die himself if this quest of his wasn't so important.

Bartholomew led the party, directing them down this street, up this alley, around this corner. Fumi followed, silent as a ghost, invisible like a ghost. Suddenly, Bartholomew turned a corner... and stopped. What he just directed them to was a large, public square, literally swarming with zombies. Fumi stopped dead in her tracks, eyes wide open. How were they going to get out of this one? Never had she encountered a group this big. Maybe once, back in her hometown, but even that didn't look so massive and threatening as this.
One zombie shuffled up, a grotesque figure with shaggy blond hair, a bloody face, and shredded clothes. She must have been quite beautiful when she was alive, Fumi thought sadly. With the others, she then watched as Bartholomew talked to the zombie, identifying it as Rachel. Rachel... who was Rachel? He walked up to the undead woman, and screamed in her face. Fumi, surprised, backed up, into a wall. She could practically see him snapping as he pulled out his pistols and shot her point-blank.
After that, it was just a blur - Bartholomew's fingers were a blur, as they pressed the trigger fast as the drumming of a snare. With each hollow shot, a zombie went down. Bartholomew looked dazed, as if he wasn't even there as he put down every single zombie in the area. Fumi was frightened. As she stood by the wall, just watching the damage being dealt to the zombies by whom she thought was a robust man, she could only think, He's a monster.
Then her thoughts were replaced with pain as a stray bullet entered her calf. Silently, she collapsed, and let down her cloak of invisibility. She quickly put it back on and sat there, trying hard not to scream, not to make herself open to the zombies. Quickly, she ripped a stream of cloth from her shirt and tied it tightly around the wound. She'd been through worse. The only consequence was, she'd have to reveal herself sooner to the group. She wouldn't be able to make it without their help.
When she looked up again, Bartholomew stood there, still and straight, eyes averted from the destruction he had dealt. Every single zombie was dead. He put away his pistols and walked back to the waiting group, smiling to them as if nothing happened. Silently, Fumi tried to stand up, but her legs collapsed underneath her. With gritted teeth, she used her powers to lift herself into the air, and floated after the group. Soon, it would be soon. Now, she hoped that Sydelle wouldn't set Grr after her, and that Bartholomew wouldn't set his pistols on her.

"Oh. I see." Xavier replied to Prometheus. He leaned back in his chair, ready for a nap. This had been a very long night so far.
To pass the time, Xavier stood up and entered the kitchen. He individually went through each cabinet, and made a mental tally of how much food they had. There was at least enough for another week, but what happened once that week was over?
Soon, they would have to go out and look for supplies. They still hadn't checked to see if the water was clean yet.
"Any idea how we can check to see if the water is contaminated?" He asked both Icarius and Prometheus. They seemed much more knowledgeable, and maybe they had some sort of device for that. ((Sorry, I ended up sleeping for 16 hours today O.o that's why i didn't post sooner. And sorry my post is so short.. Really not sure what to say))

Mara had declined his offer of immediate transport, but he understood just by hearing what was on the surface of her mind. She was skeptical and a captain, which meant that she had a lot of sensitive information that she should not allow to fall into the wrong hands, and this was the perfect situation (in her mind) where information could be used in the wrong way. She seemed to be worried that he would leave the "group," but this was not the first time his assistance had been denied, and it would not be the last, he was certain of that. He was disappointed that he would have to wade through a horde of zombies, which was by far one of his least favourite things to do.
He looked at Mara and smiled. "No matter," he began, "I shall pledge, on my honour as a dimension walker and keeper of the peace, that I shall not leave you or Adelaide behind to be injured. It is my sworn duty to protect those who need help, and you both, I am sorry to say, are in dire need." He watched as Mara pointed to the source of the flare, and he sent out his mind to see if there was anything coherent inside the building. "Well, shall we carry on before more of these creatures begin to converge on our location?"

Prometheus walked over towards Xavier while Icarius had gone to secure the two of them a private room and make it safe. Prometheus stuck his hand under the sink tap, but nothing happened and he furrowed his brow. Noticing that he might've looked stupid, he asked, "How do you turn it on?"
Withdrawing his hand, he looked at the two strange knobs on either side of the faucet and pointed to them, "Do you still pump water manually?" He had absolutely no clue about anything in this time period, but unlike Icarius he was full of curiousity and eager to learn. He thought the knobs were used to pump directly from the earth, because in his timeline there were no knobs and almost everything was automatic, even most of their doorways. "Behold what I, a God, from Gods endure! Look down upon my shame, The cruel wrong that racks my frame, The grinding anguish that shall waste my strength, Till time's ten thousand years have measured out their length!" . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . - Prometheus Bound

Xavier's jaw almost dropped. But he stopped himself. He still wasn't used to having two people from the future. And he had forgotten how far from the future they were. But after he thought it over for a second, he laughed. Grinning at Prometheus, he turned the knob on the sink as cool, clear water came rushing out.
"We don't manually pump it. You turn the knob, and the water comes out of the faucet. If you need help with anything here just let me know. I feel like such an idiot compared to you two." He said, indicating Prometheus and Icarius.
It would take some time getting used to the pair of them. But then again, Xavier didn't know how long either of them would be there. He figured once they repaired their ship they would be off. Then there was also the chance of none of them even surviving because if zombies and spacemen from the future were possible right now, what else could be?

Coraline sat there on the counter. As she heard Xavier said "Is the water clean?" She see's Prometheus come over to the sink and puts his hand under the sink tab. She wonder's what is he doing? Then he says "Do you still pump water manually?" Coraline put her head down and bit her lip to keep from laughing. She looks back up to see Xavier helping Prometheus to turn on the water in the sink. Coraline gets up off the counter and looks around the room. She sigh's quietly, Its so boring in here. She walks into the bedroom, only seeing a old creeky bed and a wooden wardrobe. Coraline sits on the bed, she falls back. She lays there and she closes her eye's.

Prometheus grinned and blushed just slightly, embarrassed that he must've seemed like a fool in the eyes of Xavier and of Coraline. "Oh, well thank you..." he said with a shy smile before he inspected the faucet further, murmuring fascinating before he started to scan the water with the device on his wrist. "It seems to be good for drinking... though there is an ungodly amount of Chlorine in it..." he said and frowned slightly before bending his lips down and tasting the water.
He pulled his long hair back with his hands as he drank and licked his lips as he withdrew, looking over at Xavier. "We should save what we can in containers just in case the supply runs out, or gets contaminated at a later time," he advised before he fiddled with the knobs and finally got the water to turn off. He seemed quite pleased with himself.

Kary looked at the head of the spider thing Ventes had slashed off. Sparks flew from the open wires before fizzling out, and some kind of oil dripped from what the girl assumed was part of the engine or attached to it in some manner. Either way, the beast was dead and they were safe. Kary looked up at the gang. Ventes seemed to remain calm through the ordeal, Saiyaku still had her slightly insane look she had since they found her dragging a corpse through the streets, and the family of cyborgs-Desirae, Tina, and Aunt Elle, since they were calling her such-as they had a bit of a family reunion. Looking around, Kary saw lights and arrows everywhere leading to a wall which she assumed was a hidden entrance to deceive those on the outside. She scratched the back of her head, then looked behind her to see if any zombies were coming. There weren't any at the moment, but not all zombies were slow and moaned, some were like ninjas almost. Nevertheless, Kary dug out an axe in case they were ambused. Or worse, if the spider somehow came back to life. She moved to Aunt Elle. "Hey there, I don't know if your nieces mentioned me, but we've been fighting zombies together. They also told me a bit about you, so it's nice to finally meet you." she stuck out her free hand. "Oh, and Tina also mentioned something about you being able to turn my axes into something like hers." she felt like she was pressuring the woman, but she might as well say it now while it's on her mind.

Elle looked at the girl impressed; "I didn't need to be told, I saw the way Tina was carrying you around when you all ran from Arachne. I must say, you cut to the chase when you want something, hm?" spoke the businesswoman pulling out a pair of small glasses and taking one Kary's hatchets from her to examine it. "It's real worn, I'd have to make you a pair from scratch. Time consuming but, I can do it for you. Not right now sadly..." she said handing Kary back her axe and pulling out a small blue tooth looking device. "Elle here." she said clearly after pressing a small button. "I have a few survivors, more combatants that plain civilians. Unfortunately, the owner of the underground base doesn't seem to be in at the moment, or else we'd be inside by now. Requesting to switch to our second operation." she ordered. "Heh, told you she'd do it!" Tina said slapping Kary's back and giving her a wink. "She'll fix you up something good girly!""Yeah kiddo, once she makes a promise she keeps it." Desirae added then got a strange look on her face. "Hey! Who are you talking to?! Did you some how manage to get into being the top brass with the military here?!" she questioned with such an astonished look. "We've only been here a few hours! How did..." she was cut off by Elle holding up her hand to silence her."Understood, we'll rendezvous at the bridge at the entrance of the city." she confirmed and cut her communication. "To answer your question, yes. I am in charge of a big corporations military and it's research and development divisions. This business means to eradicate this threat in anyway possible." she informed as she waved her hands and a small black screen appeared in front of her. She began typing on another black screen that must have been a keyboard. "Oh cool! Where'd you get that? Do we get one? It's advanced like the technology in our time! ahhh!" Desirae squealed getting bright eyed and poking at the screen but her finger went through it. "Whoa! Did I break it?" "Stop that!" Elle ordered pushing her hand aside. "Long story short, I shared my information of our technology with their R&D and made this on the fly. Now enough talking we need to move out." Elle instructed and looked at Saiyaka who was mumbling about her mother. She walked closer to her. "Hysteria..." she uttered lifting the girls head. "If weren't so advanced, I'd have pulled a commanding officers role and slapped some sense into her. But this girl needs therapy now. "Tina, carry her. We need to move fast. The team will be here shortly." she informed stopping by Ventes. "How impolite of me. Thank you for assistance in beating this mechanical xombie. I am Elle, it's nice to meet you."

Kary was aken aback by the woman's first response. "Really?" she whispered to Tina, "Is she a spy or something?" before taking her axe back when the woman was finished examining it. That would suck that she wouldn't get them off the hop, but patience meant precision, and time to work on it, not rush and be sloppy, but all in all, she was getting new axes! She did a little victory dance about it. Then Kary was witness to something she thought she'd never see; a holographic screen and keyboard came up in front of Elle, and Kary's jaw almost hit the dirt. These people used this kind of stuff in their regular lives? For Kary, she'd have to live for thousands of years and probably make it to the top of a government branch that was king of the world before she could get her hands on such equipment. She wanted to be part of this family, both for the friendly service and access to cool gadgets.. But something stuck in Kary's mind, and it was something recent Elle said. Rendevouz? Entrance of the city? Rendevouz with who? The young girl scratched her head, confused. "What's going on?"
