LilChibiusa I'm glad you can read my mind, Alv. Gaaah! It's dark and scary in there! burning_eyes eek Just kidding! rofl (Well, sort of. *EVIL LAUGH*) As for the rest, it sounds like a neat idea...but like you, I'm worried about the copyright police...maybe we could make it different in enough areas but still somehow keep the feel of the original? I mean, after all, we really don't have many goblins to begin with except me. We're a lot more diverse in the first place than the original Labyrinth! blaugh And if I'm not making sense, it's because I just got off the phone with the registrar's office at my university (checking on my graduation paperwork), and they said that I will be able to graduate in summer "if I get my degree requirements finished this term." When I said that I was sure I was finished, they checked the computer. Come to find out, the school's computer system STILL has me listed as being on the thesis track in spite of the fact that I changed tracks a YEAR AND A HALF ago AND filled out the paperwork for the change with my academic advisor. emotion_facepalm I am SO. VERY. ticked right now! (That's why my avatar is so angry! blaugh ) Anyway...sorry for my ranty, venty, nonsensical post. I am just so upset right now and I needed to vent! crying

I want to be there for your graduation like you were there for mine. Back to ball stuff, if it's only a segment of our plot and not the location of the whole thing, maybe we'll be safe. I mean, we already have all of our characters established, so none of them would have to be found in the labyrinth. But, that might not be a bad idea for Green's entrance, to have her be introduced inside the labyrinth. Depending on how we play it, we might be able to use her and still work with her schedule. What if we used the idea of keys, and there had to be three magical keys inserted somewhere special to unlock the power that will revitalize our world. One of those keys can be in the labyrinth. And, as for the reason why we can't get them? Only dreamers can touch them. If we try to touch them, they'll fade away and move to another location like that ball of light that Alice could never catch in the sheep's shop. Btw, my mind is a dark and scary place? o_0 Really? I thought it was kind of like Twilight Sparkle trying to study in the middle of a Pinkie Pie party. blaugh

I e-mailed my academic advisor this afternoon, and she e-mailed me back tonight. So according to her, I've now gotten everything straightened out and I'm getting my degree in August! heart The actual commencement ceremony is in December (there's no summer commencement, so summer graduates who actually want to walk do it in the fall graduation), but I think they're supposed to send me my diploma in the mail in August. So...yaaaay! As long as my academic advisor is actually telling the truth (and I trust this person less and less as time goes on, but I'm willing to believe that she's actually telling the truth this time), I'm getting my diploma this summer! xd
In other news...Chibi, if your mind is like Twilight trying to study in the middle of a Pinkie Pie party, what would MY mind be like? blaugh
I like the concept of introducing Green in the labyrinth, especially if she only has time to do the scenes that take place there. But if she has more time, we might want to put her in the castle with the rest of us so we all get a lot of stage time.
(I'm still not making sense right now 'cause I can't concentrate; I'm hoping I can make more sense tomorrow! mrgreen )

What I meant with mind is that I love learning, but I'm easily distracted by doing fun things, and I get mad at myself for not getting more done. It's a jumbled mess in my head, but somehow things come out more or less in order. blaugh Btw, would everyone be available for a meeting Wednesday night? Alv, can you make it by 8PM Central? I know you ran a little late in the past. (Broken has that day off.)

You haven't missed much. Just make sure that Broken has approved your tektek. I had to edit mine a few times to make the cut. lol
Broken okayed it for us to go ahead and come up with the rest of the plot without her, and then let her okay it later. So, with that in mind, does everyone think they could make a plot meeting on Thursday at 9PM Eastern? We could also try for 10PM Wednesday night. I'm going to be out of town Monday and Tuesday. Let me know!

Although, I must say I'm hoping we get some of Inky's crazy creative genius in the planning.
