"Someone's coming, Tails!"
"Uh-oh. We've gotta go. Good luck." Tails cut off the transmission.
Shadow walked towards a door, which he obviously knew where it led. ~~

Rosemary wrung her hands in anxiety. They were losing time. If they didn't far enough she feared that they could track them as they escaped.
Desiree and Zach each nodded grimly. They turned to leave.
Rosemary started to follow them before she looked back at Rouge and Shadow. "Stay safe," she told them, though she probably knew that Shadow felt he wouldn't need it. She still needed to say it, to give herself some form of assurance. She gave a small smile before hurrying after Desiree and Zach. They had already got into a helicopter, Desiree in the pilot's seat and Zach in the shot gun. She climbed in back and sat back.
"Desiree, can you fly with your...fear of heights?" she heard Zach ask. Desiree let out a long breath. "Zach, it'll be going on auto-pilot. All I have to do is sit back and not look out a window." she explained as she entered the coordinates. Rosemary looked out the window, feeling a bit nervous. They were all at risk. The helicopter whirred to life and lifted off the ground.

Rouge watched them go, sighed, then ran after Shadow. The door led into a long hallway.
Since they'd deactivated all of the security systems, their walk down the passage was safe, but cautious. Rouge glanced every which-way, ears alert and rotating slightly. Meanwhile, Shadow just walked casually, with his normal emotionless mask on his face. They reached a split in the road, and came to a stop.
"We're headed to the commander's office, so this way." declared Shadow, choosing a path and going down it. Rouge followed. ~~

(Like, someone they would know or some mysterious person who they randomly trust? Another strange mutant? (NOT a hamster person. O.O) xD)
Rosemary sighed, crossing her arms. Might as well make the best of this. She closed her eyes and listened to the bickering of Zach and Desiree. (Which was more like shouting and high pitched squealing.) She blocked it out and fell asleep.

~~ (Don't worry. *slips on sunglasses* I got it covered. cool )
Shadow and Rouge walked past a door which looked like had they not been disabled, security systems would be heavily guarding it. Rouge halted. "Hmm."
Shadow stopped, looking back. "That's the labratory." he explained.
"Oh?" She pushed the "unlock" button on the wall beside the entrance to the lab. It slid open. "Well, let's check around." She walked inside. Shadow sighed, clearly finding it a waste of time, and followed her in.
Inside was gizmos, gadgets, test tubes, monitors, switches, and buttons galore.
"Don't touch anything, Rouge." warned Shadow.
"Yeah, yeah, I know the drill." Rouge wandered around a bit, then noticed something. There was a white, oval container with a glass top, showing inside what seemed to be...a girl? She walked over to it. "What's this?" murmured the bat, brushing a hand across the container. Of course, her finger accidently pushed a switch on it from "Sealed," to "Release." The glass parted in the middle, sliding down either side and vanishing from sight. ~~

(Bring on the cool...xD And with the image...just add black stripes. :3) Lillian's eyes fluttered open. How come someone was waking her up? She rubbed them sleepily before they focused and a bat lady came into sight. Lillian stared, a bit surprised, before her instincts kicked in. She bolted out, gripping the stranger by the neck and standing behind her. She spoke calmly. "I don't wanna hurt you. I really don't. But I must know. What business do you have here?" The last person she had seen told her to not trust anyone and make sure that no one got away. But that was so long ago. Plus, she hadn't been expecting anyone to get into the lab. Hadn't it been locked? She wore a simple white tank top and a pair of capris. Her hair went past her shoulders and stopped mid-waist. The features that really stood out though were her striped ears and tail, along with her bright amber eyes. Clearly, she wasn't human.

~~ Rouge's eyes widened. A hand grabbed Lillian's wrist, pulling it from Rouge. The bat-girl stepped to the side, rubbing her throat, coughing. Shadow released Lillian, standing between her and Rouge. "We have no business here. My partner insisted we come in. And touched something when I told her not to." growled the hedgehog mutant.
(Ohh, Lillian is pretty ^^) ~~

(Haha. Thanks. :3 After fifteen minutes of image surfing I think I did pretty good. ^^)
Lillian took a defensive step back. "Sorry. Just instinctal." she muttered. As she got a good look at Shadow, her eyes widened. "Holy s***! You're the Lifeform I've been told about!" she gasped. Her eyes brightened but then they hardened. "You shouldn't be here," she whispered. Not too long ago, a message had come through to her telepathically. It was part of the containment unit she had just been inside. She was well aware of their plans, but wasn't very detailed. She glanced around. "What're you doing?" she asked, as if it was the stupidest thing anyone could have ever done.

~~ Shadow nodded. "Yes. I am. And as for not being here, I was already told that by a fox friend of mine and his bunny friend.
Rouge's ears perked up, and she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. She looked at an empty test-tube next to where she stood.
"What is it?" Shadow looked at her.
"I...I could have sworn I saw something there...And heard it, too..."
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the headquarters....
The room was metal, dark, and cluttered with papers and weapons alike. A desk stood infront of a large map of the world which was pinned to the wall. The seat behind the table was turned from veiw. Suddenly, the door opened, and a dark figure in a black, hooded cloak entered.
"Commander, he's here."
"Excellent." The chair spun around slowly. In it was a grey-haired male with one leg crossed over the other, hands together. Three veins were visable going from his forehead to the side of his skull. Clearly, this soilder had seen many battles and been through hard times. It was obvious through his determined, yet tired and stressed grey eyes.
"Shall I dispose of him now?"
"No. Let him come to me."
"Hmph. As you wish." The cloaked man turned to leave.
"Just one thing."
"Yes, commander?"
"Bring me the fox and bunny."
The figure nodded, then left.
(Here's the Commander. Yes, he's the evil commander from Avatar XD) ~~

Lillian sighed. "Then you should have listened to them," she said. She looked at Rouge when she spoke. "What?" she asked, looking around. She frowned. She didn't remember anything else being in here. Anything she was aware of anyways. "Where are you trying to do exactly?" she asked. "They've probably got this place rigged." The thought made her ears twitch. "How'd you get in here anyways?" she asked, looking at the door. She shook her head. Not important.

Lillian looked after them. She thought for a moment before following them. "Let me help," she said. Sure these people were complete strangers. Yeah, she had no idea what they were up to. But so what? Lillian was trained but they never really used her. She liked action. And apparently they attracted it.
