"That's exactly what I think, it was the reason behind the picture report opposed to written because it's hard to describe exactly what the plants look like in words. Hm... since you are so keen on practical work, I'll give us something practical to do then.
Get into pairs while I find something."

The professor leaves the teaching greenhouse and takes her time in the adjacent one.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearA small smile played at Olli's lips as she watched Amelia's pride slowly swell; she could tell she had given her some sort of boost of confidence. When the professor was speaking, the smile quietly grew larger and larger until she was beaming at the thought of the many plants she would learn about this year. "Did you hear that Amelia? We will be getting to do practical work now! I'm excited to see what she brings us..." Olli said, her voice trailing off as she craned her neck to see into the next greenhouse.

Lena
Oh, ok. Thanks, Professor! Lena then opened her note book and wrote a few notes about what she had learned from her assignment on umbrella flowers.

While the professor is out, the greenhouse turns dark and the sunlight only seeps through tiny holes in the structure of the building. The students stop shuffling with their paper and notes and it remains silent for some moments. The plants stopped their lively movements, allowing the pupils to take in how quiet it can be once the plants aren't moving. The air became still and less humid.

Amelia Frances
Her boost in confidence still flowing through her, Amelia nodded eagerly. The teacher had to be listening in on their conversation; there was no way she'd bring out something icky or dangerous. Especially the latter as it was still earlier in the year. None the less, she commented, "I can't imagine what it'll be." Her voice had a far off note to it, as if she was mentally listing the possibilities she knew. She fell quiet quickly as she thought. Adjusting almost instantly, it took her a few moments to realize it had settled everywhere. Catching her breath as if not to break it, she looked around; confused by its source.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearAs the entire greenhouse fell silent, Olli looked around. She wondered what could have caused such a thing, and she quickly glanced around, searching for the source. She noticed Amelia doing the same thing, but she seemed to be more affected by what had happened.

Despite the pupils feeling reassured that their professor wouldn't leave them alone in a dangerous environment, a slight unease builds up and silence remains.
Suddenly, it's broken by screaming and screeching.

Amelia Frances
((Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do, so I'm going to make up something--if it's wrong just tell me))
Amelia screamed in a mixture of surprise, pain and terror. She wrapped her arms tightly around her, squeezing as if it could stop the emotions before she desperately started to look around. "Make it st- What is it?" She had to correct herself, to make sure she stayed composed. Otherwise she wouldn't be her father's daughter. She had to stay put together. Crying wasn't allowed. She lifted her tongue to put pressure on the center of the roof of her mouth, stopping the tears just as successfully as pressing on the bone of her nose. Her gaze starting searching for clues to stop it.

((On a side note, what uses were there for the screechsnap and the umbrella plants?))

⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - 2nd year Nathaniel clenched his teeth. Not feeling comfortable at all. Although the teacher asked to find a pair; he was too busy daydreaming to even pay attention. With the eerie atmosphere and the sudden screams, he wasn't happy. At all. He supposed the screechsnaps were finally doing their thing, screech.

Lena
As the greenhouse suddenly became quiet and dark, Lena looked around, confused and wondering what was happening. And then, unexpectedly, the silence was broken by sudden screeching and screaming. Lena covered her ears with her hands and looked around, eyes wide.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearAs a screech tore through the greenhouse, Olli dropped into a defensive crouch and whipped out her wand. She began searching for the source of the noise when she heard Ammy ask what it was. Realizing she was in pain, Olli stood straight and walked toward her, wand still in hand. Her focus had shifted from the continuous screeching to her friend, who was obviously suffering greatly. "Ammy...?" she said cautiously. She could see her eyes watering, and began to wonder why the sound was affecting her so much more than everyone else.
