She's a fluffly little cloud-cat-thing, isn't she? biggrin Yes you are, little cutie, yes you are! biggrin -keeps petting her- It would be cute if she were named something after a cloud or something, wouldn't it? lol -thinks- I guess some of the cloud names are more boyish though... confused

I've always thought Nimbus was a cute name. whee

Amy had hugged Dame back when she came over and smiled as she listened to the two girls. Dame had a good idea about the name.

"A cloud name is a pretty cool idea. Nimbus is really cute... And I think it could work for a girl or a boy. I can't wait to see what you come up with, Sakura."

She giggled at Mewpit's reaction to all the petting and scratched once more on the side of her chin.

Thistle huffed slightly and looked a little put out at the lack of attention she was receiving. She looked over at Dame and tried to get her attention.

"Hi, you!"

She flicked her tail happily.

Amy hugged Sakura back when she said she had to leave. "Aww, that sucks. But maybe we can see each other tomorrow at the garden. Dame, you're welcome to join us. We meet up in the large garden I made at AS. It's really relaxing and fun."

Amy waved to Sakura as she headed out. "See ya later, Sakura."

She gave a small little wave to the Mewpit and then turned back to Dame with a smile.

"Wow. It does sound like you're busy. Hopefully you're visiting the spa over at MW a lot so your muscles don't get too sore. As for the swimming, it should be open for quite a few months still, what with the weather acting so funky. It seems like it just started getting warmer, so hopefully it will stay around for a few more months."

"If you ever do stop by, you can check out some art, too. We just had the art opening the weekend before last. It's pretty good. Kits has some up, too."

Thistle trilled happily and loosely wrapped her tail around Dame's arm when she patted her head. "Good!"

Amy laughed. "We've also been working more on Thistle's talking. Velcore's helped a lot with that."

She looked a little more closely at Dame. "You know... Dame, if you ever feel like you have too much going on, you can ask for help. Karrie, Kits and I would try to help in any way that we could. I know I haven't been the most welcoming at times, and I'm very sorry about that. But, I would want to help if there way any way I could."

Thistle nuzzled Dame's hand.

"Safety and such is good, but sometimes a good old-fashioned massage is the best feeling in the world. I love massages..."

Amy's eyes widened when Dame said she went to the art party, and then she beamed. "You did?! That's great! I wasn't able to go because I was really sick and Velcore threatened to sit on me if I so much as tried to leave the house. Kits did a great job with the party from what I hear."

She tilted her head to the side in confusion at the continual mention of something called 'IR'. "I'm sorry Dame, but I don't know what 'IR' is. I'm glad you enjoy dancing there, though, and I'm glad you had fun on your shopping trip. I've never liked shopping that much... I guess that's because I can just transfigure all of my clothes. Plus I hate all the lines..."

She laughed slightly and used her free hand to start playing with Thistle's mane.

Amy frowned slightly in thought as she heard the name. Why did that name sound familiar? But when Dame started describing what it was, then it came to her. That was the name of the potion shop Liada was going to open at AS. The shop she decided not to open because she didn't want to take sides and wanted to stay neutral. She almost scoffed at that thought. Yeah, neutral. Right. Amy had told Kits she thought it was just an excuse to go with MW instead since that was more her type of scene and just didn't want to come out and say it. She kinda wish she had made a bet with Kits about it now.

Amy danced around that subject since she probably wouldn't have anything that nice to say about it, and focused on the shopping instead.

"Well, Sakura and I were going to go shopping for cell phones one day, and I had been looking forward to that. It didn't involve clothes, though, so I think that was why I was more positive toward it. Our schedules never ended up working out for it, but it had sounded like fun. And you're probably right. Shopping with a friend probably makes it more fun. I'll have to try that sometime."

Amy giggled at the thought of frolicking. "Really, you guys did? That's awesome! I very occasionally do that with Thistle in the garden. Not often, but sometimes the weather is just so nice and you feel so good that you just have to get out and... well, frolick. Jumping around in the nice outdoor air is so much fun."

Thistle nodded and squeaked. "Faires!!"

Amy laughed, now having the picture in her mind of Leko frolicking outside, even though it was Ayami who had done it.

"Oh man... Just the thought of Leko realizing what her other half had done... That is awesome. I wish I could have seen her face. I haven't seen Leko in a long time and Ayami even longer. They're fun."

"And that's true. You never did say you went clothes shopping. I guess I hear 'shopping' and I automatically think of clothes, which is probably a reason I shrink back at the word. If I think about it, I shop a lot at the farmer's market and at garden-specialty stores. What's your favorite kind of shopping, Dame?"

Thistle squeaked happily and nuzzled Dame's hand.
