Christoph watched Liam storm off, his own stomach twisted with guilt. Yuko watched as well, her eyes unfathomable. Fortunately, there was a convenient interruption. in the form of Melanie.
"Oh, of course, Melanie. But which one are you talking about? I made a lot of them for her." He visibly gathered up his composure and faced her with a grin. "There was the honey lemonade, the Aviation Cocktail, and a few others, but they don't immediately come to mind. Oh, yes, and the Sex on the Beach that you had me make for her earlier." He leaned on the counter.
Before Melanie replied, she happened to glance at Yuko, who was calmly taking a sip of her sake. At the young woman's exclamation, she set her choko down and turned slightly to face her.
"Are you sure? Perhaps Lacey looks just like me." A small smile flickered on her lips in mischief. Christoph snorted and said sarcastically, "Quite the coincidence, huh, Yuko-san?" She simply smiled at him, ignoring the sarcasm, and replied, "There is no coincidence, there is only hitsuzen."

Melanie turned to look back at Christoph. "Oh uh the lemonade one I think..." her voice was a lot more subdued than normal. It was like she was in a small trance. Her hazel eyes turned to look back at the mysterious woman that replied back. Maybe she was right about the order. After all, Lacey was quite young and this lady did seem somewhat older. She was never good with guessing ages though. Regardless, why did they look so similar?
"Hmm maybe you're related, but I thought..." Mel trailed off as she pondered. "Oh well. I could just ask," she stated more to herself than anyone else. The blond quickly turned her back toward the lady and looked over at where Daniel was sitting. "Oh she's gone."
Mel didn't really make an effort to look for her. After all, she did just order a drink. Instead, she turned back around to face them and smiled.

♥ ♠ Call me Byron, that's all ♦ ♣ When Lacey passed by Byron and Amor, they had totally shut up, Byron was still thinking about all the messes that could happen because of him being a vampire, he wasn't sure what to do with that new thing. Gently stroking Lithium on her back he was staring silently at the semi apparent ghost who envied him for being material, this kind of irritated him, then Lacey came closer, he noticed that she looked exactly like that mystery woman that just made the flamboyant butler mad at the other end of the bar, he looked discreetly at the wound on her finger, it was healing already and he was really confused about the hunger he felt earlier. "Wait!" he said as if he was stopping her "Sorry for what? do you see that guy I was talking to?" he asked intrigued as he stretched his arm and waved his index finger making it pass right through Amor. "He seems like a nice ghost, but he says some weird things about vampires, Do you believe in vampires, Miss...? I didn't get your name." He asked her, adding a tone of mystery to his voice.

Lacey came to an abrupt stop when she heard someone call out to her. Well, he didn't say her name, but it definitely came from that guy she just walked passed. She turned around slowly to look at the guy. He seemed kind of excited at the prospect of her being able to see the ghost.
Wait a minute. So he was talking to the ghost. He can see the ghost? Ah, so the ghost is a he. Lacey smiled as she tried to picture what he might look like. The possibilities were endless really. Her eyes glanced at the empty seat.
Lacey shook her head gently. "I can only feel him when he is nearby," she smiled softly. "Ah, but it would be nice to be able to see and talk to him." She turned to look at where the ghost should be and smiled at him. It felt a little odd talking about him in front of him like that, but communication was one way at this point.
At the mention of vampires, Lacey turned back to the other guy. "Anything is possible," she responded before chuckling. "People like to talk about odd things in this place." Her eyes traveled to look up at the various lights on the ceiling. A small spread across her face. For some reason, she felt like the place was embracing her with warmth and happiness. It would make sense seeing as it was alive right? Maybe it had it's own way of 'talking' back: just like a ghost might.
"Oh, I'm Lacey. Pleased to meet you both." Her eyes shifted to the empty stool and then toward the guy that was asking odd questions. Arms hidden behind her: with one hand grasping the other wrist gently. A soft smile graced her lips.

♥ ♠ Call me Byron, that's all ♦ ♣ "The pleasure is all mine." he smiled gently, an evil idea crossed his mind, she was a totally random person, he could test the effect of telling someone he was a vampire on her, but she was too cute for that. "It wouldn't hurt to try." he thought as he lifted his hands away from Lithium, so she could roam if she wanted to. "So how far do you believe in the existence of vampires?" he asked, then he flinched, should he go on telling people he was a vampire? this didn't sound right, at least until he figured it out completely. "Where are my manners? ... Would you like a drink?" he asked her, he had noticed that his voice has changed a little over the past few weeks, but he thought it was only from the change of weather. "So, do you always feel the presence of sentient entities that are unseen? I find that pretty interesting for a human." he suddenly stopped, that last sentence came out wrong and he hoped from his dead heart she wouldn't ask why he said it that way. He looked at her and picked up his cigarettes, a long silence followed.

"I'm fine thanks," Lacey responded to the drink question with a smile. It's not that she didn't want a drink, but she always felt awkward excepting free ones from strangers. She didn't want to feel like she needed to give something in return.
"Hmm..." Lacey thought to herself as she tilted her head slightly to the right. Her eyes studied him for a moment. Why was he so interested in vampires, only to blow over the question with the unseen one? Not to mention the human comment. In the end she decided not to dwell on it for the time being. "I don't know," she finally responded to the last question, "maybe I never really tried to pay attention to something like that before."
She flashed him a smile before glancing at the empty seat next to him. It felt weird knowing someone was there; yet, not being able to converse. She really needed to find a way to do so. That way she wouldn't feel like she was ignoring the other entity. "Ghost-sama..." Lacey started as she turned to face him, "I am going to figure out a way to interact with you better." She gave him a warm smile as she rocked gently on her heels. It didn't take long for her smile to fade though. "Oh! Only if you want..." she mentioned in a softer tone than before. Her eyes shifted to look downward. The petite girl was a bit embarrassed that she made such a statement.

Lucian Kliment
Lucian stopped, his fingers caressed over the still vibrating strings of his guitar, his caress causing the vibrations to cease. A sharp pain shot through his head, he grimace, biting down against the flesh of his lip. With haste Lucian contained his guitar back in the leather casing. Lucian shoved back through the entrance of the bar, he always reserved so anyone who knew him wouldn’t be surprised of the rejection. It wasn’t anything personal towards Peeta Lucian just sometimes had trouble with communicating.
“Forgive, I .. no, I can’t.”
Lucian pushed back into the building, his figure shifted like a shadow on the wall to a seat in the far back of the bar. The leather casing that contained his guitar plopped down on the second chair nearest to him. Lucian propped his elbows against the edge of the table, his fingers pressed against his forehead as if trying to ease his pain.
Rough staggered breaths escaped through his sickly white lips, Lucian’s pupils dilated as he attempted to shake of this demented feeling that shot through him all of the sudden. Everything was happening so quickly, so he attempted to calm himself simply remaining in his current position.
Amor Bas Lioncourt
Amor was always shy in living and in death. Amor quickly jumped to his feet, he sensed the irritation he brought onto Bryon due to his careless ranting earlier. Amor curled the fingers of his right hand towards the center of his palm forming a fist he cupped his left hand over the right letting them rest in front of him he bowed after standing to his feet as another gesture of making an apology to the male.
Amor stood between the female and male, he caught her name mumbling it under his breath as if to make note of it so that he wouldn’t forget. Shifting his gaze towards the female then to the male as if he was at loss what to say or do. Amor used the index of his right hand to curl a single strand of his hair to show his contemplating, despite nobody being able to witness he still did this as a subconscious habit.
With the thought of what the female said it did come to mind about his ability to temporarily solidify his being but he had only done it once or twice and barely remembered how he had done it exactly. Amor dropped back in a lazy manner in the cushioned seat he was in earlier. Angling his elbow against the counter of the bar he curled his hand yet again into a fist, resting his chin atop of it going into deep throught without another word to be said.

"It does not matter whether one is related to another. All that matters is the here and now." Yuko turned from Melanie, sipping at her sake, then waved away Christoph. "Go take care of other customers, I'll be fine."
Christoph smiled at Yuko, then at Melanie. "A honey lemonade, coming up." He motioned for her to follow him along the counter as he went back to his workspace. It was the place where he could easily reach any ingredient as well as see the whole bar. The other bartenders covered whatever Christoph couldn't, filled drink orders brought back by waiters, and helped him when there were sudden rushes of customers. He snagged a glass and began making the honey lemonade, trying to lose himself in the work. It worked partially, but ended when he handed the finished honey lemonade to Melanie.
"There you go. Enjoy." He glanced over at Byron and was surprised to see a ghost sitting next to him. Ghosts often came in, often searching for something. Lacey was also there, talking to both of them. He glided over and said, "Welcome, sir, to the Haunted Music Box. Can I get you anything?"

Melanie kept her eyes on the lady for a while. She was a bit odd in her opinion. When Christoph looked at her, she smiled back. The happy-go-lucky blond followed him down the counter. Of course she had to walking around a few people here and there. One of the people she passed happened to be Daniel. He seemed busy with whatever he was doing so she didn't bother interacting with him for the time being.
There weren't any free seats where Christoph was making her drink, so Mel just squeezed in-between to guys that were sitting at the bar. Her right hand wrapped around the glass when it was handed to her. A smile formed on her face as a thank you for the drink. Not long after, he scooted to the other side of the bar.
That was when she noticed Lacey. Who was she talking to? It was odd to see her talking to someone without someone introducing her first. Melanie took a sip of her drink and watched for a few seconds before deciding not to bother her for the time being. Instead, she moseyed over to one of the comfy looking couches that were placed in the far corner.
Mel was already lost in her thoughts and didn't even realize that she walked right in front of Lucian's table. She plopped herself down gently and took another sip of her drink before setting it on the table in front of her. Hazel eyes shifted to look at the band that was playing. She wasn't really watching them though. Her mind was running through the conversation that she had on the phone earlier. ((Oh don't worry about it Monoky))

♥ ♠ Call me Byron, that's all ♦ ♣ "Eeehh, there you are." Byron smiled at Christoph, his smile was always crooked to one side and this time it showed his fangs, but luckily it was a short glimpse the cute brunette couldn't catch. he felt weird that he was smiling a lot lately, it was a little weird considering he was a rather sulky person. The whole vampire matter was overwhelming even to a cold person like him, even though he hasn't found out that his fangs turn more vampire-like in moments of hunger; and Lacey being eager to communication with the ghost who is envying him for being a human form didn't make things any easier for him. The fiery haired bartender seemed like the only familiar face he could turn to. "I take it you can see him too, but why do I see him?"He asked, tilting his head towards Amor in a pointing manner, He was clinging to the hope that he was in fact still alive and that seeing ghosts was something related to the Music Box, he looked slyly at the ghost wondering if he should tell Christoph what the little aqua haired musician has told him about vampires. but then he suddenly decided to change the subject. "Get the sweet lady whatever she wants on my tab, and get me another one of these." he said as he tended his empty glass, it seemed that alcohol had less and less effect on him as time went by, it might have been related. Byron adjusted his silky hair away from his pale face with his hand and tucked it behind his ears, then he proceeded in total silence to light up a cigarette, took a deep breath and blew the smoke in his usual way, turning around and looking at the band through the smoke for a little while, then he sharply turned towards the bartender and had a scary serious look on his face "We have some vampires to talk about."

Lacey stood up straight as she looked over at Christoph; who just appeared to talk to the Ghost. A soft yet sad smile appeared on her face for only a moment. She probably didn't even realize that she did it, or why for that matter.
Then her attention turned toward the guy that had an interest in vampires. Her eyes widened slightly when he told Christoph to make her whatever she wanted. "Oh no it's quite..." Lacey trailed off into a whisper rather quickly. Her eyes were fixated on his ring that she saw when he lit the cigarette and tucked the strand of hair behind his ear. Was that what she thought it was? A soft chuckle escaped her lips; which were quickly covered by her right hand. A moment later she dropped her hand to reveal a smile that still lingered, but her eyes were already looking elsewhere.
That was when the guy turned to talk to Christoph. She couldn't really hear him from where she was, but the tone sounded a bit serious. She walked up to the counter in-between the Ghosts and the smoker. "May I have a jack and coke then? I have to leave for a moment, but could you put it where I was sitting earlier?" Lacey smiled sweetly as she glanced at the empty stool next to Daniel. Her eyes traveled back to Christoph. "Thank you." Her orbs shifted to look at Byron before she gave him a smile. She took a small step back and turned toward the Ghost. Another smile formed on her face as she gave him a small wave.
With all that over with, she turned on her heels and made her way toward the restroom. It may have seemed a little rude to do that but she didn't want to interrupt the potentially serious conversation those two were about to have. In reality, she didn't really need to go to the bathroom.
While in thought, she completely forgot about the lady that looked like her until her eyes caught sight of her. Lacey inhaled softly, but didn't look away until she passed the woman. If they locked eyes then that was just how it was going to be. She can't avoid the lady forever...probably. A moment later she ducked into the bathroom.

(-) Sensing something was wrong with Lucian, Peeta wanted to help but her cell rang and when she picked up her mom was arguing with someone, trying to tell him to give her a moment. "Hey Peeta could you be a dear and get over to the shop, all of our delivery boys are booked up and there's this guy who needs flowers delivered to the girl he's going to propose to, why don't you bring your violin too. He was muttering about hiring a musician and you need the money." Peeta nodded and glanced reluctantly at Lucian and walked over after finishing up with her mom. "Sure I'll be a second just got to say bye to a friend and get Lithium." She hung up when her mom grunted in agreement, leaning over Lucian's shoulder she poked him in the back of the head teasingly. "Hey Lucian, I'm going to help my mom at the shop, you want to come. You seem a bit ill and the fresh air will help. Besides you need some training before my parents hire you."

Christoph nodded and began mixing the drinks. As he worked, he began studying Byron out of the corner of his eye. The man was concerned about the changes that had begun taking place in him, and with good reason. Vampires were known for their brutality and mercilessness, and were stigmatized because of it. To be considered evil could be stifling.
Once he finished making the drinks, he slid Byron's to the man, carefully avoiding sending it through the ghost, and snagged a waiter, giving him instructions on where to send Lacey's. The waiter left, and Christoph was able to focus on Byron.
"Ok, you've asked me why you can see this ghostly gentleman beside you." He nodded politely to the unknown ghost. "To put it bluntly, it's because you're undead. If I may?" Christoph gestured to Byron's hand, wanting permission to take it. It wasn't his style to grab someone unless he was extremely familiar with them. Besides, it was inappropriate behavior for a bartender to just grab customers without permission. He could potentially be sued for sexual harassment!

♥ ♠ Call me Byron, that's all ♦ ♣ Byron picked up his drink and stared at it as if he was watching something inside "Again with that undead story?" he thought. When Christoph asked him to give his hand, he reluctantly pointed it towards him with his palm facing up, he was pretty pale and thin and you could easily feel the bone if you shook his hand a little to hard. "Undead you say? What state is that? As far as I'm concerned people are either alive or dead, do you mean I'm neither? What does that make me? I sure don't feel like a zombie. Look! No falling limbs." he said with a frown as he contemplated his other hand, he also wondered for a brief moment why Lacey smiled at his ring, but he quickly got back to his serious face. "The gentleman over there says I'm a vampire, but I don't really fit the category, I mean vampires are elegant guys with fangs and fancy suits who know the art of luring their prey, not nerdy programmers who look and dress like they came out of a bad anime show as people usually describe myself." he continued. To tell the truth he was far more appealing with his mouth shut. His tone was filled with a mix of sarcasm and confusion. Not only did the undead apparently exist, he was already one of them, he waited for Christoph to do something with his hand, as he thought about what he should do next.

Christoph gently pressed his fingers against Byron's wrist, then nodded. "Yep, definitely undead. You have no pulse." He let go of Byron's wrist and gestured vaguely.
"The state of being undead means just that. You're not like this ghostly gentleman, lacking a body and unable to move on after death, nor are you like a zombie, where your spirit continues to animate your rotting body." He put his hands on the bar and leaned forward, a knowing look in his eye. "You're physically in both the world of the dead and the living at the same time."
He straightened and grinned. "Usually, straddling both worlds like you are takes a lot of life energy to resist the pull of death. Some get their life energy by drinking the lifeblood of another living being." He raised one eyebrow. "These would be the people you refer to as vampires."
Christoph watched as Byron's face went through stages of disbelief and shock. It was a little funny, actually. The last time he'd interacted with the aloof man, Christoph had gotten the impression that nothing could surprise this man. It seemed there was quite a bit hiding beneath the surface of that aloof facade.
