((Geez, I turn my back for what seems like a minute, and it's already on a new page. Anyway, Astoria is in Oregon. Ever seen the Goonies? That movie is set in Astoria. It's funny, Ty, you're comment about it sounding like a space rock or something hit pretty close to the bullseye; Astoria's monument is a giant rock down by Cannon Beach, called Haystack Rock.))

((Nope, I don't watch many movies, 'cept for this one awesome Western...Meh, you guys already know the rough area where I live, no biggie to me. Plus I have some dogs that'll chase anyone away, and a couple of walking sticks, too.))

((Yeah, I should probably post as Stryker, I read that Strider really wanted to post as his new bad guy but I wasn't here. Then I saw that Gravemind picture. Epic win right there, lol!))
Nicole woke up in her bed to find that she'd been slightly drooling on her pillow. She sat up and wiped it away from the corner of her mouth. It felt like she'd been asleep for forever, and she'd love to just go back to sleeping. But she shook her head and stretched, tromping over to get dressed.
Stryker heaved a heavy and frustrated sigh. Then he stomped on the broken shards on the ground until they were dust. "Test whatever damn thing you want. As long as it doesn't interfere with my plans." He shrugged, stood and kicked the chair away and shook Zshvago's hand. "Welcome to the crackpot force of mutant dead guys and gals bound for hell."

((Where the hell is Strider? Gah, we've had to wait on everybody this week!))
Tyler waved goodbye to Russ as he went about his business, and called a doctor for Ellie, to ensure that nothing was seriously wrong. After a kiss goodbye, he walked out into the base, to get some fresh air and help with the cleanup. The next morning's air was certainly brisk, but it didn't bother Tyler as much as it used to. As he walked by one of the outer walls, something peculiar caught his eye. He walked over to examine it, and felt his face flush as he put the pieces together. He shook his head, making a note to bring it up the next time he saw Russ or Nicole, and headed over to the R&D complex, to continue work while it was still quiet.
