Ci'nala couldn't help but smile at Achiu, then looked at the human called Max. She smiled at him, then said something she could have regretted later. "If you truly have nowhere to go, my den is at the cliffs not too far from here. You're always welcome." She bowed her head at him.

When grael had finished gathering the papers she handed them back to the girl and put on a friendly grin. "I'm Gray. Me and my friend are new to the island and we were wondering where the best place to stay is. Do you know?"
She hoped Sa-ar would follow her lead well. She did not want to give away her true name to this human after what she had heard the girl say in the diner earlier that day. Her name was for the dragon goddess of chaos and might be recognized as a dragon name by humans.

((Doh! >.< Sorry Kuro, you posted that a few posts ago and I didn't see it...)) It was not too long until the drak-scaled dragon returned, and as a bit of a surprise, he returned with another dragon, a blue one. Maximillion cocked his head to the side for a moment, before holding his right elbow with his left hand as his right index finger curled around his chin in a thinking position. The blue dragon looked different, besides being a sea dragon, and just before the new dragon spoke, he could tell that it was a female. When she was introduced, Max gave a polite bow. "Pleasure to meet you, Ci'nala." He said politely, before turning to Kai at the very instant that the female dragon mentioned the two being mates. He quickly held up his hands, shaking them side to side. "Nuh-uh! I do not swing that way!" He said, before rubbing the back of his head a little bit, laughing when he heard her chuckle, figuring she was joking. Max listened idly as Achiu told the tale of how he'd freed the dragon from the cage before he was to be shipped off to the mainland, and he looked towards the green dragon. "Already told you, Achiu, it wasn't anything, really. No creature such as a dragon deserves to be caged up like some kind of circus animal..." He said, his right fist subconciously clenching tightly at the thought again, to the point where metal rubbing against metal could be heard faintly. However, his anger vanished after the question proposed to him, and he cocked his head again. To be honest, he really didn't have any plans. After a moment, he looked away from everyone. "To tell you the truth, I have nothing planned... I never got a room at the inn, I was planning to do that tonight, so I currently have no place to call my 'home'." He said, before looking at the blue dragoness as she spoke her proposal. He blinked twice, not believing a word that was just said. But soon a smile crossed his face before he nodded vigorously. "Thank you! I swear I won't do anything that would cause any trouble!" He said, before shaking himself out of his excitement, looking to Achiu, Kai, and Eclipse. "That is, unless you guys wanted me to stay here a little while longer? I'd look after Achiu, sure enough, but I do not want to be intruding any longer then you would like, Eclipse..." He said, looking between all of them a few times.

Achiu smiled at Max's enthusiasm, but deep down, he felt a strange twinge in his heart. "That's good, Max. But you'll have to promise to come by for visits. I think my Silia would like to meet you." With a slight yawn and a stretch he settled his head back on his front legs. "Just give me a half an hour and I should be ready to go." Closing his eyes, he let himself drift off, this time not haunted by the nightmare he had had before.

(( is ok. 3nodding ))
Kai grinned at Max's reaction, "Aw, don't you like me?" he was going to put his arm around Max's shoulders, but somehow managed to slip in a 2 inch wide puddle and fall flat on his back.
Eclipse chuckled at Kai, then looked at Max, "I don't mind you boy.. stay if you wish."
Kai sat up and rubbed lower back, "Yeah, you guys are fine..he's just cranky cause he couldn't toss Lillia to the sharks.."

Sa-ar cocked his head to the side for a moment with an arched eyebrow at Grael's introduction, but then remained quiet, staring intensely at Subira, not bothering about the wild locks that were blown into his face by a breeze that swept that side of the island. He just remained perfectly still, serving his purpose as the tall, intimidating figure as he was prone to do. As an after thought, he gave a little nod of his head to acknowledge Subira in some vague greeting. He decided to let Grael do the talking at this moment.
"Well, Gray, at present there really is only the one hotel that I could find at this landing. However, some people have taken a fancy of setting up their own little shantis or bringing tents... but I imagine you are not among them as you appear to be traveling light..." she trailed off, staring at Sa-ar for a moment, "...very light." She perched her free hand on her ample hip. "In fact, if you haven't already settled upon a place to stay, I find your lack of luggage very strange," Subira added, narrowing her eyes suspiciously at Grael.

Ci'nala smiled and rested her head against her claws. She smiled when Max did accepted her offer, conditionally. "Young Max, I hope to see you soon. Eclipse here seems to need some company though. Maybe you can soften him up," she said with a wink of her eye.

It took Grael a few minutes to think of a respose to the girls statement. "We generally don't carry luggage. Everything I need can fit in my pockets. We are not normal people. I did however reveal my name to you. I believe it is proper etiquette to introduce oneself when giving or recieving help from another."
Grael kept her smile as she said this. She didn't really care about the humans name, but if she was going to seem like a strange human she might as well go all the way with it. If she was all around strange then she would not be quite so suspicious. There was no way that the human could suspect her true identity. As far as she knew no human knew of the dragons ability to transform.

Subira smiled, but her eyes remained keen on Grael, and there was something almost shark-like in her demanor. "Oh, of course. How rude of me..." she said sweetly as she extended her free hand towards Grael. "My name is Subira. Subira Brown. And your friend? If we are going to pursue etiquette, why don't you introduce him to me... as he seems to be a man of few words."
"That will not be necessary. My name is Ehecatl," Sa-ar interjected, giving an abrupt incline of his head. Not knowing any modern names, he was forced to contrive one he'd heard, and selected the name of a shaman that once served him many many years ago. A sneer formed on his face as he grew impatient with the methods being used, prefering to simply demand information of the human and be done with it. However, he reigned in his tongue and his temper, not forgetting the cautioning he had received prior.

Maximillion looked at the others around him, before stratching the back of his head. By the sound of Ci'nala's words, she wanted him to stay a little bit longer before he would go with her. Needless to say, he wouldn't argue. "Alright, I'll stay here a while longer, if that is what you would like." He said directed to the blue dragoness, but it counted towards the other human and the green-scaled dragon as well. "It may give me some time to get to know these guys a bit more, maybe even meet Achiu's partner." He said, his mind running wild with what a coupled pair of dragon acted like together, and what she looked like. However, Max knew better than to push the matter at the moment.

Grael eyed the hand that had been thrust to her for a moment before taking it. She memorized the name that Sa-ar gave the human. She would need to ensure that she called him by that name as long as they were in the area.
She tried to remember what passed for human pleasantries. "So what brings you to the island?" she asked. "We are here on business." As she spoke she indicated herself and Sa-ar. She did her best to appear congenial, and hoped she was taken for some naive human.

"Likewise," Subira responded crisply as she shook Grael's hand. She raised an eyebrow at Sa-ar's name, as it was certainly unusual. However, she held her tongue as her name was also considered exotic to most of her assosciates. "And such business I must be attending. If you will excuse me," Subira said as politely as she could and went to walk past both Grael and Sa-ar, shaking her head a little. However she paused and glanced over her shoulder at Grael. "I just realized where I remember you from... you were in that café... the one which had its roof torn off. So I can't helpt but wonder if your business happens to be dragons. For sure, it's what everyone comes here for whether they admit it or not... I don't see the point in all the secracy."
Sa-ar remained quiet and kept his body language as neutral as possible, trying to wittle away the slight sneer that had began to form. Again, he was letting Grael do the talking.

"The fact that I am on this island at all does show that I have an interest in dragons, though I don't see how my being in a cafe that got its roof torn off has to do with that." Grael stated. She stood still as the human moved off and did not move to follow her immediately. In fact she would rely entirely on her sense of smell when she did follow her.

Eclipse kept quiet, staring at Kai since he mentioned that disgusting dragon-enemy human's name.
Kai noticed the stare and discreetly moved a bit closer to the green dragon as it slept, "Lucky...you just get here and get to meet a bunch of nice dragons right off the bat." he glanced at Max, grinning for a second before remembering what Achiu said about him getting him out of the scientists cage, which made him jump as he got an idea. "Hey, you remember where the place was you rescued Aichu from? 'Cause I think I might know at least one of the people that work there..."

Ci'nala looked at Max and wondered the same thing. After all, the humans were the ones to take her beloved away from her. She wondered if this human was the same one to help him. "More importantly, do you remember who some of these people are?" she asked fiercely as she watched Achiu rest.
