Haven't looked over Fortuna yet, silly me. Will do so in a bit.

As for Laan:

The only actual ability issues that I see are Body of the Damned- could you add in something about being more susceptible to statuses, as well? - and the Presence of Decay- what exactly does 'sudden weakness' entail, and how long is 'prolonged contact'?

About body of the damned; I don't see why not. I guess decrease his resistance to physically inflicted status effect to fit in with his increased damage?

And the sudden weakness would be the sudden feeling of all their physical stamina being drained, even though it is not. A suddenly lack of strength coupled with lightheadedness. Prolonged contact is essentially anything longer that a handshake or a hug, so anything past five seconds.

I've made it so that status effects that can be inflicted physically have 100% success while Body of the Damned is active. Also, I removed Presence of Decay (in the end, it was too ambiguous for me to justify it with myself) and replaced it with Unlife [which effectively turns Laan into a Zombie and causes roles of White and Death Magic to reverse]. Unlife originally only made Death Magic helpful, but I included White Magic being hurtful to make it possible for the White Mages to be specifically helpful in fighting Laan, as well as to make him seem more like he has Zombie permanently cast on himself.

[LIMIT LV.2] Toxic Haze At low hp, Jacob can raise an aura that drains his remaining mana but forms a noxious cloud that has a chance each turn of being near Jacob to blind, silence, and/or poison. Lasts 3 turns.

Applying to replace an ability for HA!Cory. I'm getting rid of Cataclysm Mk. IX, "Reverse Drain", and replacing it with something that fits Cory's stand-alone attitude more.

Cataclysm Mk. IX - Also known as "Body of the Determined". Cory's body becomes covered in neon blue lines reminiscent of the cracks that covered his body in his Unsent state. While using Body of the Determined, Cory's Attack & Guard Strength and Attack & Outright Speed all increase by 1. The technique itself is less straining on Cory's body than a standard Indomitable Resolve, but he cannot use Indomitable Resolve or Burst Movement while Body of the Determined is active. Body of the Determined last for 3 turns, during which Cory is inflicted with incurable Bleeding.

Concerning Laan, could you be persuaded to choose a different summon? I'm still looking over the profile.

"Body of the Determined" might need a time limit on it, and/or other restrictions. How many posts do you plan on it being able to last? I ask because having four stats increased by one is sort of a big deal, even with you taking away the Indomitable Resolve and Burst Movement. Limit Breaks can increase a single stat by one.


I approve of Jacob's Lv.2 Limit Break.

Unless Laan's summon is a Death-based one, his origin doesn't make any sense since he is supposed to have met the summon in betweenlife and death. As well, unless there is another Death-based summon, I would have to completely rebuild Laan from the ground up; personality, abilities, etc.That aside, I had my heart set on Zalera.

As for Body of the Determined, I had assumed all of the buffs had a time limit and didn't think it necessary to add it in. The comparison to the Limit Breaks isn't very apt, though, since Body of the Determined is not a permanent buff and there are some status effects that have even larger effects on stats, such as Old Age. I suppose for time limit, I would say 3 posts, and for other restrictions, to go with the original idea that Cory's Unsent body was constantly damaging itself, I could adding in Bleeding (damage over time status effect similar to Dia and Poison).

Back to Laan:

1) FOR THE RECORD, we did take into consideration your suggestion about Auto-KO's difficulty, and we changed it so that all Game-Breaking ailments have a difficulty of -6, can only single-target (unless a Limit Break), and require a recharge after every use.

2) ALSO FOR THE RECORD: Some people apparently didn't realize that Attack Speed also counts as Casting Speed.

3) Back to Body of the Damned, since (from what I read) both physical -and- magical damage is multiplied by 5, I meant that chances for both physical -and- magical ailments should increase. Now, I won't ask that both should always succeed- that would be quiiiite unfair xD But maybe make it so that they have 'double chance of success'?

I had actually entirely forgotten that I had Body of the Damned set to Physical and Magical. I'm fine with the double-chance for all status effects.
