-Strider woke up- "Jake. Its time. We have to go now!" -Jake woke as well and dissappeared knowing what to do. Strider got up and dissappeared reappearing at Salim. He ran as fast as he could to find Elistral as a dark cloud came over Salim-
Mal: "Now go my allies destroy all those who apposed us." -All the others dissappeared useing a stone Mal had given them. Reaper went to find Demios, Marie and Enta went after Cher, and Echo went after Konjou. Leaveing George, The Dark One, and Mal to fight at Salim. The final fight was about to begin-

Elistral's hand automatically tightened on her sword's hilt, but she didn't draw the blade out. The sun had almost been covered by a black cloud, and now only a dim lit filtered down from above. She pushed through the oncoming people to the bell tower, taking her time up the steps. Reaching the top, she leaned up against a stone pillar, suddenly feeling very tired. Dozens of torch lights could be seen from her vantage point, dancing their way towards the town from the forest. She rubbed a face over her face, sighing and peering in between her fingers. It didn't look like that was a celebratory party for the townspeople for the night before.

Crow slowed his pace when the large group neared the first few feet left to the town's buildings. He smiled to himself and a crow landed on his shoulder, holding a shining coin in it's beak. He let the Ravagers part around him, converging back into a single unit before him. As they continued ahead of him, he followed in the back of the group, watching the buildings with interest.

Verin woke as his foster mother shook him awake, pointing to the window in his room. He stumbled sleepily to it, throwing it open to look out. It was darker than when he went to sleep, but he took no note of it. He'd barely been able to rest after the all-nighter.

-In the midst of all this three black lightning strikes shot into town they were Mal, Oni, and George. Mal messaged Crow- "Crow begin the attack."

Oni (The Dark One): "This shall be fun." -He laughed as he sent black flames shooting in all directions burning people and homes instantly-

George: "Hmmmmm. What a boring city....oh well." -Georges eyes lit up and he lifted his hands lifting buildings and peple in the process-

Mal: -Mal just shoot lightning everywhere with a gleefull look and laughing-

Strider: "ELISTRAL!" -Strider yelled up the bell tower- "Theres no time we must leave! There is no hope in this fight. Mal has returned we must go!" -Strider yelled with urgency in his voice. Then a black lightning bolt came and blasted the top half of the bell tower off. Strider leaped and caught Elistral- "Im so sorry but this is not a fight. This is a slaughter and if we don't leave then im afraid not even I will be able to protect you." -Strider dissappeared into the outside of the city and set Elistral down. Strider looked towards the already partially decimated city. Then Jake and a few others appeared behind us includeing Verin- "Good work Jake it looks like we saved everyone."

Jake: "It is what you told me to do." -Jake looked at Salim- "So its begun has it? The end of it all?"

Strider: "Yes. It has begun." -A black lightning bolt shot past Strider sending up dirt. Up above Mal and the other two were decsending- "Jake. Get them out of here!"

Jake: -Jake ran over to Elistral and took her arm and pulled her over to the group- "Im sorry but we have to get you out of here." -He lifted his hands and clapped dissappearing with everyone else in a green flash leaveing Strider to fight alone-

Mal: "Hello again brother."

Strider: "Hello. I see you made some new freinds."

Mal: "Oh yes and im sure they're both quit familiar to you."

Strider: "Oh yes. Oni the Dark One and George the Absorber. How could I forget?"

Mal: "Oh not just them but we also have Reaper the Mercinary, Echo the Pheonix Lord, Enta the Demon, and Marie the Demon Queen. All one big happy family wouldn't you say dearest brother?"

Stider: "Enough formalities Mal. Do what you came do and lets get it over with."

Mal: "So be it." -Mal along with George and Oni lifted their right hands and blasted. Strider dissappeared but not before being mortaly wounded-

Strider: -Strider reappears where the others were. In a study like room with tall bookshelves. When he reappeared he screamed out in pain and clenched his left side falling over-

Crow smiled grimly as he heard Mal's message and nodded at one of the the Ravagers who happened to look back at him, a questioning look on his face. But he grinned widely when Crow gave him the signal to start. He watched as the demon yelled wildly and ran through the crowd to a building, hurling his torch high into the air. The other Ravagers also did the same, tossing the buckets of heated oil and flaming torches on them. Crow just stood there, seeing some demons and others running off the kill as many as they could. He chuckled lightly to himself, the bird on his shoulder cawed.

Elistral blinked as they reappeared in a round study, she started to say something, but then just stood there stunned. Verin ,however, stomped over to Jake and yanked on his arm. "What's going on?!" He yelled at him, all tiredness gone. "Why are we here?!" Jake tried to pull his arm away but couldn't. "I'm sorry, but I had to." "Couldn't what?! Save Salim, or the other people?!" "If I could have, I would!" Jake roared back at him, pulling his arm away now. Elistral blinked again, recognition in her eyes. "Salim?" She said softly, then looked around wildly, her hood flying off. "We have to go back." "We can't. I already told you." Jake replied, looking sadly at the elf. "Then I have to." She watched the inu shake his head again and she continued. "I'm not leaving Rore there! Or Strider for that matter." "Rore? That guy that lives on the hill?" Verin put it, glancing at Elistral. Elistral nodded, then shook her head at her thoughts and walked away, trying to calm herself down. When she was agitated she couldn't think straight, and she needed to see reasoning in Jake's words now. Her hand found her leaf brooch and she rubbed her fingers on it, thinking about what her father would have done. Verin went to hit Jake but his arm was stopped by Elistral, losing what he was going to say when he saw her expression.

-After everything Strider appeared and collapsed on the floor- "Strider!" -Jake ran over to help Strider up and noticed he was bleeding- "Come on we have to heal you!" -He tried to help him up but Strider shook him off-
Strider: "Not this time old freind. Its time."
Jake: "But..."
Strider: -Strider put up a hand silenceing him. Strider got up and sat in a chair trailing blood as he went- "Elistral. Come here and I shall explain everything." -Strider held his left side as blood dripped onto the chair- "Quickly please."

Crow found himself standing on the edge of the town square, where the fires' heat was still growing. The bird that had been with him and flown away into the sky, annoyed when it's feathers had gotten singed. He wanted to see Salim fall with his own eyes, see the small town be reduced to nothing but ashes and memories. He shifted his cloak with one hand, it was getting a little stifling.

Verin moved out of the way as Elistral pushed past, still glaring at Jake. Elistral went to Strider's side, giving him a concerned look. "There's something you wish to say?" She asked.

Rore helped his daughter up into the horse's saddle in front of her mother. His wife looked down at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You should come with us, it's safer." Rore cast a glance at the burning town, watching people running away and his hand clenched his sword he'd taken down from the mantel. "No, the horse will only hold you two." His wife started to say something but he cut her off. "Besides, the survivors will need help. Go to the nearest town, or find Gorash. I'll find you two later." With that, he gave his daughter and her a kiss and a hug before smacking the horse's rump. He waved at them while they rode away from the town.

"Yes. Its about whats going on and why your town is now rubble at this point. But first I have to give you a bit of a history lesson. You see after I had defeated Mal far in the past he wasn't dead and before he had changed into a mortal form he used the last of his powers to send a blackhole after my own mortal form. Unfortunatley enough I didn't escape and was sucked into the black hole. In truth my life should have ended there but for some reason I still had conciousness as if my body was still in one peice but in truth I was just floating in the darkness with no true form but after a short period of time I began to see images in my mind images of things I couldn't understand and when they ended I heard a voice. This voice told me that my journy was about to begin. I asked what journey and it replied: 'Your journey to decide the fate of this universe.' Then I was expelled from the black hole with my true form. That was when I understood that the voice in my head was the one who created me. Or as most on this planet call him 'God'. After that I found my way to this planet. I landed on this planet quite hard and made a huge crater but thats when I met your mother Elistral and fell in love for the first time. You see......how do I put this........I didn't just know your father.........I am your father." -Strider continued to hold his side as more blood came- "I'm so sorry I never told you but thats how it was supposed to be. You were not to know until the final days of judgement and those days are upon us. You see I was never ment to save the world or save anyone. You were........all of you. It was my mission to choose those who would fight for the side of good for the final days of judgement. What are the final days of judement you ask? Well it really isn't a set of days but instead a battle......a battle to decide what shall rule over this universe......good..........or evil....and it was my job to choose those combatants who would fight for the side of good. Just the same it was Mal's job to choose those who would fight for evil. Originally my job was to be undertaken by my older brother Desdion. He was the god of Light but unfortunatley Mal found out and killed him along with our youngest brother Kain which happily now supports Jake's form." -Strider gestures towards Jake- "But back to topic I chose you, my daughter, to lead this band of people against the forces of evil. For if you can't.........no one can." -With that Strider's grip on his side slacked and his hand fell to the arm rest and his eyes glazed over and he breathed his last breath with a content sigh and his head fell back onto the head rest and Strider was dead-

Crow now stood just outside of Salim, or the remains of it. The birds that had covered the sun had flown off long ago, settling in the trees and on the ruined buildings' stones. They glared at anything moving, even leaves in the wind. He made his way through the town, sweating a little from the heat that still rose from the ground, nose wrinkling at the smell of stale smoke. He stopped in the town square, not far from the fountain that had amazingly withstood everything. The fire had boiled the water away, leaving coins at the bottom to be picked by the crows. The fountain was now black with soot, including the statue that stood in the middle. A smile found his lips again, as it seemed to more often now. "The deed has been done." He stated, more to himself than to anyone who was listening.

The few of the townspeople that had gotten away from the massacre were now standing in and around Rore's house on the hill. Inside, the wounded and burned were being treated, but many lay dying or cried out from the pain. Rore himself was outside, pulling up the bucket from the well for cool water. He set it on the rim of the well and turned around, looking at the town. All that once stood was now broken and scattered, the great bell could be seen from where he stood, dented and now useless. His heart filled with sadness when his eyes took in the sight, but he couldn't stop looking at the ruins.

Elistral reached over and closed Strider's eyes, closing her own also and bowing her head in respect. Behind her, she heard a sharp intake of breath and a gasp. Turning, she saw Verin's and Jake's blank faces, staring but unseeing. Nobody spoke, each thinking their own thoughts. She herself had alot to sort through, Salim's fall, what was going to happen, and Strider's words. "What's going to happen now?" Jake asked, blinking and looking at Strider. Verin turned his back on everyone, walking away a few steps, his arms crossed over his chest. "H-he can't be dead? Can he?" Elistral was silent for a moment before replying. "Maybe, we can't know for sure." Jake stared at her, and even Verin glanced over his shoulder. She went on. "Many other times, I've seen him dead, laying as if he was asleep. But after some time later, he appeared out of nowhere, like he'd always been there the whole time." "But he looks dead now. He didn't even want any help when he was hurt." Verin pointed out, doubting that the man'd spring up and act as if nothing had happened. Elistral averted her gaze to the floor, trying to empty her mind to think clearly. "It's just a guess, I'm probably even wrong. But, someone like him could never really die. I just can't believe that." She finished, shaking her head. "You're just saying that because he's your--" A stern look from Jake stopped him in his tracks, and Verin had to close his mouth that had dropped open. "What do we do now?" Jake said, understanding. Verin reluctantly nodded in agreement. Elistral glanced at them, looked up at the ceiling and after a few moments of silence, took a deep breath. "I have no idea."

((Oh and im playing as Demios, Jake and Mal if thats ok....not to mention some of the other bad guys))
Demios: -Demios stepped out- "Well if I know Strider he would go and study our enemy. Learn what were up against."

Jake: -Then Jake spoke up- "That might be why he brought us here. This is the Library of Knowladge the greatest library in the universe and his personal study."

Mal: -Mal watched the spot where Strider once stood long after the other two had left trying to visualize Strider standing there. Then he felt Strider die and smiled knowing he had won. Finally won his final battle. Now it was time to destroy the other peragons of freedom and finally kill all those who stood in his way. He dissappeared to Crow- "It would appear that there is no more need for this fountain wouldn't you say Crow?" -Mal lifts his hand and blasts the fountain's statue away scareing away the crows- "There much better......Now tell your men its time to move on to the next city. Any who wish to follow us may and any who stand in your way....kill them." -Mal dissappears-
PostPosted: Sat Oct 03, 2009 5:55 pm

((Sorry 'bout that. But you better take care of Jake, he's a sensitive little boy! scream ))

Crow nodded at Mal's words and headed out of the ruins, giving a fair-sized chunk of the broken statue a kick. His foot throbbed a little now, but he pushed it out of his mind and kept walking. Giving a sharp whistle, he raised his hand and the Ravagers soon noticed him. A few were blinking in the bright sunlight, shading their eyes with their hands. "We move on." He said, and stopped to look at the sizable group. "Are you crazy?" One spoke up, glaring hatefully at him. "We destroyed that accursed town, and the possibility of it being rebuilt, plus we're now are being blinded by the sun! If you--" A flock of crows came soaring at him, at a call from Crow, and began to attack him. Crow went on, ignoring the demon screaming on the ground. "There are other towns to go to. We starting marching immediately. The men and women and doubtful expressions, but their eyes lit up at the mention of the next town.

Rore lifted the bucket and brought it to the house, handing it to one of the people helping the hurt. He turned at the sound of cheering and screams in time to see the people who'd brought down Salim moving quickly away to the West. A couple glanced up at the remaining townspeople, but didn't stop to come after them.

Verin raised an eyebrow at Jake, but otherwise said nothing. He was still mulling over what was happening, did that mean that his foster parents were dead too? Elistral blinked at the arrival of Demios and lowered her head to look at him. He had a point, whatever their next move was to be, they needed to learn about the enemy they were facing. "We know that our enemy is Mal, and the Ravagers as well." She stated the already known fact. "What we should figure out, is what their tactics are. Are they the type to eliminate something immediately, or do they cause suffering to everything and everyone before bringing them down? If it's the latter, then we have a chance; if its the former, then we plan our moves ahead of them."

Jake: "Thats just it I don't think were faceing just Mal and the Ravagers. Those other two guys they didn't look like any normal demon i've seen and one of them had this black flame crawling all along his body."

Demios: "Wait a man with black flames on him?! Theres only one person that I can think of with that discription but hes supposed to be locked away forever."

Jake: "What if Mal released him. Also I think there are more than one or two of the non-ravager allies Mal has and based on what you just said it's my belief that Mal has gathered more then just two and if you don't mind me asking but did Strider help you defeat this person?"

Demios: "Yes why do you ask?"

Jake: "Because it's my belief that its no coincidence that he looks like someone you've fought. I think that Mal has brought together all of those who Strider has ever helpped us defeat."

Demios: "What are you saying?"

Jake: "I'm saying that our real enemy isn't just Mal and the Ravagers but all of those who Strider has beaten. In fact I can probably guess who those people are if I think about it Strider told me stories about his triumphs over his greatest enemies. Includeing the one you fought." -Jake sits down- "Now let me think...there was Enta and Marie the most powerful demons in the world, George the one who had the power to take other peoples power, Echo lord of the pheonixs, Oni the Dark Lord, and Reaper the Bounty hunter. Any of those names sound familiar to any of you?" -Several people nodded their heads- "I was right then in thinking that the enemy is enemies we've faced before. So now we need to plan and figure out what our next course of action is going to be. So my lady." -Jake looks at Elistral- "What do we do next?"
PostPosted: Tue Oct 06, 2009 5:08 pm

((This is all I have for now... =( ))

Elistral thought for a few minutes, starting to pace restlessly now. What to do? She asked herself, repeating Jake's question. In Salim, the Protectors pretty much lead themselves. Yes, she was the creator of the group, but they had followed brief or vague instructions, acting on their own most of the time. From what Jake had just said, their enemies had been fought before, so that meant they had to beaten again, just with a larger force. "They have a larger force than our own currently." She spoke out loud, but mostly to herself. "We'd need to match them in strength and probably cunning as well. Some of the Protectors at Salim, or what's left of it, may still be alive. Plus, hopefully, Rore's still there if I know him well enough. Then there's the fact we'd need to get allies to help fight." She stopped pacing and furrowed her brow, linking her hands behind her back. "Besides that, we have to know where they're going, and when they're going to reach the destination. A network of spies maybe, and tiny portions of the bigger force we still have to get could be stationed at the surrounding cities." She shook her head and looked away, staring at the wall.

"Instead of matching their strength wny not break it? You see all of them are powerful in their own right but together their all together they seem unstoppable. Well the way I see it what if we were able to fight just one or two of them at a time and save Mal for last because I don't think I have to say it but none of us would be able to defeat him at our current states so yes we still do have to become stronger like you said Elistral but why take all of them at once if we don't have to? Though the Ravagers will be a problem we should still be able to get them all alone and away from the others. Now I think I know where they're going." -Jake fumbles around for a map and unfold it onto the table and points at another large town near Salim- "Silver City shall be next. Its the closest and is well known for its free government system. Mal will more than likely be planning to destroy cities that are the most powerful, free, or those that get in his way. Also if I were Mal I would leave one of those other guys to make sure no one tried to rebuild it."
PostPosted: Wed Oct 07, 2009 4:51 pm

Elistral came over by Jake and looked at the map on the table. Her finger traced a line from Salim to the city he said, Silver City. Unless they took detours, they'd reach the city within a week or two if they kept marching. "You're suggesting we trail behind them and pick them off one at a time?" She asked. Mal's tactics, it seemed, were odd to her. If she were in his place, she'd want to destroy anything that was in her way and out of it. She bit her lip, dismissing those thoughts. "But by the time we even got a sufficient amount of fighters together to do that, besides ourselves, they would have already destroyed Silver City and moved on to the next town. Not to mention that any fighters that did join us would most likely not join in the first place, unless they had no choice." She paused for a moment. "Though they probably have no choice in the first place. And evacuating towns and cities ahead of Mal's path is an option too." She rubbed a finger to her temple, a dull head ache starting to grow from everything, plus lack of sleep, but she ignored that.

Verin sighed at the two behind him and walked away. This all seemed a bit overrated to him, what had happened to his life before? It was nice and peaceful, and now it was getting worse. They seemed capable of handling this on their own, he just wanted to go back to whatever home he had left.

After a stressed silence, finally the whole group had passed by and were going off into the distance. Rore gave a sigh of relief, tension going away, until he remembered his wife and daughter. His eyes searched the distance, fear now getting a hold of him. It was too late to get ahead of the moving force, and possibly find a horse in time to find his loved ones. He could only hope that they would be safe for the time being.

Many of the Ravagers became uneasy when they saw the rest of the townspeople standing around, like sitting ducks. But a look from Crow had them look forward again, and at the prospect of being able to fight and kill. He winced when the bird on his shoulder cawed loudly, then shifted from foot to clawed foot, agitated.

"I'm afraid it won't take a week to get the ravagers there. Mal has taken his elites (what the non ravager enimies shall be called) ahead of everyone else and by tommorow their attack shall begin. The Ravager's main force shall take care of the outlineing villages so reinforcements cant't come through from a different part of the area and after hes done he leaves one of the elite to make sure no one rebuilds after he's left and to devide those who wish to join them from those who don't. You can imagin what would happen to those who don't join. Even worse is that if we tried to start an evacuation then Mal would begin the attack early and take the advantage of the peoples turmoil to do more damage. You see what Mal is doing is takeing himself and his elites to the city ahead like I said this way giveing him complete knowladge of whats going on inside the city before he attacks also this way he can regulate what the people know. Killing messangers and the such so no one even knows before its to late." -Jake sits down- "In truth I think we should bide time. Theres nothing much we can do without ourselves dieing and if that happened the world would be subject to Mal because in truth no one else but us can act fast enoughto do anything. So until Mal is done with his fight there nothing we can do and if this Rore is as resourceful as you say he is then he'll make sure that people will survive but I just don't see what we can do without makeing things worse for the situation." -Jake thinks hard- "I wish we still had Strider. I mean didn't he ever teach you something as a child? I mean as his daughter you must have gotten some sort of power from him don't you think?"
