I think you're beautiful, your looks are an eleven out of ten, Tsukasu said, blushing. It was true, he was quite fond of her water blue eyes, her wispy blonde hair, and tan skin. He felt what would be called butterflies in his stomach when he looked at her.

Leilani fidgeted in her seat, not used to such compliments. She didn't understand why, but she liked hearing them. "But what about all the girls in pretty outfits? Or nicely done hair..fair skin..lightly painted faces?"

Tsukasu smiled faintly, shaking his head. Not... really my type, he said lowly. I like girls who don't care too much about their appearance, though, if I saw you walking down the street one day, I would never guess that you didn't put hours into how you looked, he said, in hopes of it coming out as a compliment. You're... gorgeous, he said finally, his shoulders falling slightly.

Leilani blushed again as she rubbed her cheek against her shoulder. Her stomach fluttered slightly as she smiled. "You're very sweet Tsukasu," she whispered, her eyes looking at the last piece of sushi on her plate since she didn't know if she could look at him at the moment without her cheeks burning off.

I just speak the truth, Tsukasu said lowly, looking to his empty bento before taking a long drink of his water. He took a deep breath, wondering what she was thinking about, but not curious enough to wander into her mind. Instead, he moved a hand to his head to brush thick red brown hair out of his eyes.

Leilani finally looked back up, feeling silly about whatever she was feeling. It was odd and foreign to her. "And I speak the truth. You're very sweet and kind. Those other people have missed out..."

Nibbling on her last piece of sushi, Leilani smiled. "You should always feel good about yourself. It's nice to be happy." But then again, she was oblivious to a lot of things so it was easy for her to be happy.

Tsukasu laughed, shaking his head. I wish it were that easy. I blame it on my dad, he gave me the "rarely happy" gene, he said wtih a sad laugh.

Leilani frowned then put her hands on her hips and huffed. "Well, we'll have to change that! What are some things that make you happy? Maybe we can go to them. It'll be fun." She smiled, like usual, and finished off her drink, now really enjoying the taste and fizziness of it.

I don't know what makes me happy, I haven't really experience anything, Tsukasu laughed, taking a drink of his soda once more with a bright smile. I guess I could think about it a little bit? he asked, starting already.

Leilani tilted her head again then nodded. But she still wanted to try and make him happy. "What if we went for a walk outside? You said you liked nature so...would that make you happy?"

Leilani's smile widened. "Than let's go for a walk somewhere! The sun will be going down shortly and the beach is very nice at that time." She had watched many sunsets on the ocean alone and each had been nice but watching one with another would be even better.

Tsukasu smiled brightly, nodding before flagging the waiter down, getting the tab. Great! So we can head over to the beach now and watch the sun set, I bet it's beautiful, he said, pulling money out of his boot.
