They both work but I think the best way to say "I have two younger sisters" would be: watashi niwa futari no imouto ga imasu. blaugh

Are there any other ways to say "me" besides watashi and boku?

Well there's atashi, watashi, watakushi, boku, ore, using your name, washi, and uchi. Those are the only ones I can think of right now xB

Yes. 3nodding
Watashi: standard. Anyone can use
Watakushi: a bit more formal than simply 'watashi'
Atashi: feminine form
Boku: slightly masculine/used between friends
Ore: very masculine/tough sounding, and should *only* be used with friends.
Washi: used by the elderly.
Uchi: by itself just means "house (one's own)/family". If you tack on a 'no' at the end to say 'uchino' that means "my or mine", but from what I understand it's not often used because it's formal.

I was wondering what Tomo means?
PostPosted: Sat Mar 31, 2007 5:42 pm

There are a lot of 'tomo' out there but I'm sure you meant the partical 'tomo'. So とも 'tomo' means:
certainly/of course/to be sure/rather
-or-
even if/no matter (who, what, when, where, why, how)
-or-
if used after an adverb it means: at the (least, earliest, etc.)

Ok, so I'm writing this fanfiction. I'm trying to get the title to say" Please Kiss Me Once More". The best I can come up with is "kasanete kissu shite kudasai." Is that ok? (example: are the words correct/in the right order? Am I missing any particles?)
PostPosted: Mon Apr 02, 2007 8:45 pm

I would personally use: 'mou ichido kisu shitekudasai' since the 'kasanete' you're using leans more towards 'repeatedly' rather than 'once more'.

Could someone accurately translate this line: "I would never judge you."

It's for a work. Thank you. ^^

Why am I impressed that the Japanese for 'Ireland' has the symbol for 'love' in it?...I'm sad v.v''
