Aronoth saw two people speaking to each other, a rather pleasingly looking women and a man in military clothes, representing a high rank. He overheard some of their conversation. What surprised him the most was that the man seemed completely unaware of the situation. The problem was, though, that they insisted on standing there while the rest of the group moved. He rushed over to them, speaking, "Yes, the city is lost in a war. And the soldiers will try to chase after us if we don't go now. So, please, follow me to the lake, we need to leave this place as quick as possible."

"And who might you be? How do I know I can trust you?" Streak said. He examined him.

"And who might you be? How do I know I can trust you?" Streak said. He examined him.
"My name is Aronoth. I am a traveler of the Wizemnigot race. How can you trust me? See these men and women, surviving innocents? See the group over on the end of the lake? I rounded them up, and all I want to do is see them leave here alive. Otherwise, you will just have to trust me."

"Hmm.... I don't know if I can come, where are you heading?" Streak asked.

"Hmm.... I don't know if I can come, where are you heading?" Streak asked.
Aronoth was beginning to get aggrivated, this showed in his voice.

"Do you not see the burning of city infront of your eyes? Can you not notice the steady stream of soldiers invading her walls? You ask where we are going. I say, does it really matter? We need to leave this place now, before the army finds and kills us! The more dumb questions you ask, the more likley we, the rest of the city, dies!"

Aronoth, noticing the most of the group already moving, ran off, abandoning the military man, edging the group along more quickly.

Streak sighed. "You're right, I say we head west, to Eradon. I'm meeting up with Iss....someone near there." Streak said. He still didn't know whether to trust him. He would be catious and not mention Issildia's name as he may be an enemy of her's and kill him if he knew he was in league with her.

After ushering a duo of wounded Anierian soldiers toward the forest Issildia disappeared once again in a flourish of shadow. She appeared in the dark of the forest's edge only a few feet behind Streak and the one that he now spoke with.

Finally after a moment of composing herself Issildia moved forward passing by Streak and the stranger without a second glance. Blood and ash were streaked across her face, her eyes seemed distant and cold as she centered in on the frightened sobbing survivors.

So few... Issildia thought sadly as looked at them, before speaking.

"Dina!.." she shouted in the Anierian native tongue, "If any of you wish to survive this day then you will be silent!" she commanded.

The group of only forty to fifty men women and children became silent, only the sounds of a group of children crying could be heard.

"Now...we go to Terradova...there is an envoy of soldiers that will grant you safe passage to Keirdon, nothing more can be done" Issildia paused, "We have lost much this day, but we can not allow these memories to intervene with our survival...Your way of life is over, but should you survive this ...then Anier will never be truly gone...and that alone will be revenge enough against those that did this."

Issildia then began to stoically walk south towards the Ruins of Terradova, "If any of you wish to remain alive then it would be best to go south, towards the Ruins..."

Issildia continued to walk deeper into the forest and for a moment she thought that the survivors would remain, but soon enough she heard the sound of their footfalls as they began to make their way south, following only a short distance behind her...

Aronoth looked back to the commander, pointing at the stranger. "You mean her? If so, than you lie. She and I are leading them to an area to the south of here, 'The Ruins of' something. We are going to ask safe passage to another kingdom from there. Do you not understand? Well, it doesn't matter if you do or not. The important thing is that you follow me."

He turned again, and noticed the stranger mobilizing her group towards thw ruins. He shouted: "No, wait! Go back to the clearing! I know of a much faster way to travel". He looked back to the group he was leading, and motioned them to follow him. He began walking into the clearing, to where the stranger was.

Issildia did not even turn to face the one that had spoken as she replied, "You would risk giving away our position to get there faster...you are foolish Mage, for there are those among the enemy that would sense such magics, and we would have half of the Larovian army waiting for us when we arrived...no I think we shall walk..."

Issildia then drew her cloak around her slender form and delved deeper into the forest with the survivors in tow.

Amber turned from Streak and motioned for her guard to begin escorting the refugees to the Ruins. If the fool wished to stay from Keirdon territory, then that was his choice. It was another matter to lead others to their deaths with him.
"It would be wise to follow us to safe territory, but go where you will." Amber said to both Streak and the Wizemnigot. She noted the young woman as she passed by, apparently too involved with evacuation to take notice of them. "Just know that you would lead any who follow you to their deaths the further away from help you stray."
With that, she turned and made eye contact with her captain, who promptly reshaped his body to that of a brilliant white unicorn. Amber mounted the majestic image and ordered her guard into formation around the refugees.

Aronoth laughed at that remark. "You think that my magic is the same as yours. Our races survived on the powers supplied from the Wizem, they are not ordinary, and they are quite powerful. And, even if they can detect such magic, what could they do? You do not understand, we will travel by air! High away from this surface are winds of amazing speeds, I passed by these ruins you speak of on my travels, and within minutes I arrived here. But, if you prefer to walk, I will join you and help protect the group. Unfortunately, it will be 24 hours before I can summon any more impressions than the 4 that join us now, but we should still be able to arrive safely. It is your choice."

Issildia then stopped in mid-step, at his words.
As she spoke her voice was full of bitterness and unsaid rage. "You fool...You know nothing of this realm, the one that leads our enemies...he would not be hindered by your magics...his power if far different than you may have guessed..."

Issildia slowly turned to face him, "Do you see those gathered here!" she said with venom, "We are all that is left! Never was this war based upon our Enemy's lust for riches or land, this was an Extermination. A war with no other purpose than to end a race! What kind of enemy would dare to undertake such an ambition? " Issildia paused for a moment as a look of both loss and unbound rage passed over her features.

"Until you can answer that question, do not endanger our survival with your lack of understanding for our Enemy's abilities..."

(( gonk You roleplay like mad when I am at school and doing my homework.))

Coughing a couple times into her bloodied hand Marri looked around the alleyway she was in, she could do nothing more, and she didn't want to stay any longer, the smoke was begining to get to her, entering buildings that she thought there could be people within, people that where alive.
I need to get out of here. The thought started to take over Marri's train of thought. Marri was in the heart of the damned city, she hadn't seen as many enemy soldiers or ghost-like apperitions as she had expected, but enough to be a big pain, but now she could hear them more and more.
Marri concentraited on the form of the little hawk that she favored so much, and felt the change, flapping her new set of wings and leaping of the ground the best a hawk could and was airborne, bent on getting away from the burning mess that was once Anier.

Aronoth was outraged by this remark. His hand gestures showed this outrage while he spoke "You want an answer? You ask a question, assuming I have no experience in the situation. Is that what you think? Than hear this, I know EXACTLY what this war is like. At least some of your race remains! In this world, I am alone! I wander the land, with no purpose, no reason for existance. I am the last of the Wizemnigots, a race also lost in ravage war. I may look young, but I have seen more than most men thrice my age! I have fought in battles much like this..." He turned his head when saying this, his voice calmer, "only to watch an entire community crumble buy the works of a madman." He looked up to a little halk, flying overhead, a tear running down his cheak. Suddenly his anger returned. "So, yo want an answer? Than here it may be: A man will undertake such an ambition because he blinded to all the other ambitions by their greed and power. Which is why it is up to me, to us, to fight against them. I have too much experience in knowing this."

Aronoth looked back to the stranger: "So, if this enemy of yours is so powerful, than tell me, what makes you even consider the fact that he won't try to chase you down now? Do you not think that a person with such power already knows of you? Our only hope is too find safe ground as soon as we possibly can. Why are you so blind as to see that?!?"

With there words, Aronoth shook his head. He grumbled something under his breath, and turned away, begining to walk. "You alone underestimate the situation, I have seen it happen much too often." With this, he began to turn to air, knowing when his presence is unwanted.

Amber could distinctly hear what the two were saying, as it was loud enough for anyone in the surrounding area to do so as well. The man had an air of arrogance and false superiority that made her stomach turn and roil.
She had seen many a good diplomat- No, any one with power, fall to it's enticement, and being consumed by it. It was never pretty.
"If you would care to notice our situation," Amber chimed in, her voice harsh yet melodious all the same. "Even with the sounds of the battle, a soldier on the other side of Anier could be able to hear you!"
