Hey, Loki. Can you give written a description or at least what the balances are on that Magic Theft ability that you are so fond of.
I don't mean to inconvenience you and I am not saying that it is a bad idea. It is a good idea... I just prefer to see what it specific boundaries are.
I have to apologize over this, I was given my RP bootcamp by dictatorial RP players and it rubbed off on me slightly. redface

Sure,
1) Direct physical contact in needed, gloves and clothes stop it.
2) The user can't absorb more magic than can be contained in the body part that is doing the thieving (You can't steal a whole body's worth of magic using an arm for example)
3) The magic has to be compatible with the stealer (Dark magic users can only steal Dark and Dark affiliated magic unless they store it in like a charmed bottle and can't steal Light magic at all)
4) You have to know what you are stealing before you can steal it. You can't just walk up to a random person and steal their magic, you have to know exactly what your trying to steal.
5) The person losing their magic will regain it after a short time period unless it is a charm type magic or one that is a one shot thing like "collar" magic.
This work? If you need it a little more balanced I can change it.
