Sakura would finally find her voice as she looked at the two of them. “The puddle was still me but unmoving…the headdress…it helped me reshape my body…” Sakura was tired as she looked at them. The whole ordeal was draining as she tried her best to smile. “I’m sorry…I need to rest…” Sakura’s eyes would close again as she laid there on the ground still as the day was. She seemed frail like she would break if moved, but chances were with her headdress located she would have to be moved less there be guards in the area.

Mara shivered, but when she heard Sakura's voice she calmed down. She looked wide eyes up at Gouki, and back at Sakura. "Will she be alright Gouki?" Mara asked watching Sakura fall asleep. "How much longer do we need to stay here?"

Gouki stared wide eyes at Sakura's body in disbelief only breaking his reverie with Mara's question.
"Y-yeah she looks like she is sleeping for now. Lets wait here a little longer to make sure Sakura gets some rest." Gouki said as he pulled Mara close to him and protectively hugged her. "After a little time we can head out of here."

Sakura continued to sleep. Her entire body fully formed only by thanks of Gouki getting the sakura headdress to her in time. A moment later and she might not have been able to reform her body at all. She would have truly been dead. She owed him her life and planned to kiss him on his cheek when she was better.

Mara looked up at Gouki. "I've never seen you like this before brother." She said softly, it scared her. Mara looked aroudn the building. "It won't collapse upon us will it?" She hadn't noticed before, but now that the headdress was removed from its perch the temple looked fragile.

Mara's worry caught Gouki's attention as he looked down into her eyes. His face relaxed relaxed a little and ruffled her hair.
"Sorry sis...for a moment there I thought we lost Sakura and the thought of losing anyone from our family was really sad. I am just relieved that we could save Sakura's life." Gouki said smiling.

Sakura’s breathing continued to happen until finally she began to awaken. She had slept long enough. She didn’t need anymore sleep as she remembered the food she had put in her pouch from earlier in the day that she couldn’t eat. She’d take the fruit out and begin to eat it as she smiled gently at Mara and Gouki while eating it. She didn’t want them to worry about her skipping breakfast earlier in the day due to the fact she couldn’t eat at all.

Mara nodded. "Yes, I understand that." She said smiling at Gouki and Sakura. "But you see brother? Sister is alright, she's eating! Good girl sister! You need to eat! I am happy for that!"

Gouki smiled and nodded. "Yes you are right. Now that Sakura has her headdress we can start our next quest. Let us go to the nearest town and ask around about a woman with cat ears. How does that sound to everyone?" Gouki said as he stood up and helped Mara to get up afterward.

“Sounds like a plan. I think I have the energy to stand and walk about now. I hope I do at least.” Sakura was honest at least. She wasn’t sure she had the energy yet to be moving. She had to hope she did as she wanted to help Mara out in the biggest way.

Mara jumped around cheering. "YEA!" She hugged Gouki, and running to Sakura she hugged her too, and offered her a hand to help her get up. "Gouki, do you really think that this person is my mother?" she asked.

Sakura would stand up, though wobbly. Her vision would blur for a second as she put her hand to her head. She rushed to her feet too fast and she felt it. That was going to make her pay as she stood still for a few seconds waiting for her vision to clear up. Once it did, she would smile at Mara for the hug. She was glad to be back with them, rather than knowing that it was possible she could have died.

Gouki looked contemplative and smiled warmly to Mara.
"No idea sis...but if she is it would be the best to let her know you are still alive and well." Gouki said looking Mara into her eyes.
Gouki noticed Sakura waiver a little and he moved ready to catch her but was relieved she was able to stand without any real conflict.

Mara smiled at Gouki, "Would it be alright with you if she was my mother?" She asked, concerned for her brother's feelings. "I don't want you to feel bad brother, if this will hurt you then we will not go visit her."

Sakura almost giggled a little at Mara. “I’m sure it’ll be fine Mara. I doubt Gouki will mind, will you?” Her words seemed to mimic Mara’s almost a little as she walked up to Mara and hugged the young girl into her arms. She was warm to her, warmer than usual. It was odd, but maybe it was because Sakura’s powers had changed.
