Granted, but the following two weeks will be horrible enough to be likened to the apocalypse.
I wish renewable and environmentally friendly fuel sources would be implemented within the next year.

Granted, but soon the oil companies will form a giant army and take over the world, forcing everyone to use fossil fuels.

Granted, but now you have to work 9:00 'til closing instead, and have to hang out with me after. (Man, that's cold)

Granted, but the university is destroyed by a huge radioactive asteroid, killing most and turning any surviving professors or students into zombies.
I wish my house was clean so I didn't have to clean it!!

Granted, but then your mom decided that since the house was clean, you also had to weed the entire garden.

Granted, but you get so much responsibility thrust on you eventually causing to you age rapidly and lose all your youth.
I wish... People at work would actually pull their own weight.

Granted, they now pull their own weight... in ice. Which melts all over the floor and you have to clean it up.
