People need to understand this is who Kabuto is, not some good guy, I do things for my interests, anyone hurt as a side effect is nothing personal. This goes for everyone, including your little friends."
Kabuto didn't hold a grudge against anyone except Orochimaru for blocking his progress using his own goals of power to get in the way. He always thought others held grudges against him for too long and in times of need, they could be forgotten to make room for new grudges, a clean slate. Kabuto felt people that held grudges had nothing else to hold on o, just pain and suffering from the grudge. Sakura didn't seem like that kind of person, she obviously held grudges for some other reason.

Zero silently sat atop the Hokage's building still. Waiting for nothing, and aiming to stop Akatsuki at any cost. Their time as rulers over the world was coming to a halt, it was only a matter of time.

 Biting back Hard -->| Mai Ito;;Mai watched as they disappeared, and wondered how to ask Sakura and Kikyo.
She forgot about it, as soon as she detected another Chakra. She had noticed it before, in the direction of the music, but didn't pay much attention. Since there was nothing else to do...
Mai disappeared, in a swirl of leaves, and reappeared on the Hokage's mansion, in the same way. A swirl of leaves.

Sakura crossed her arms over her chest, ignoring the girl who had bumped into Kabuto, and thought for a moment. Some parts of what Kabuto had said made sense to her; there really was no point in refusing his help, if it was a good offer. However, that didn't mean that Sakura was willing to forgive the past. Kabuto obviously felt no remorse about the things he had done. Which was fine. If they could figure out how to use Kabuto the same way he obviously intended to use them, then everything would work out alright.
After all, they did have a common goal.
"As much as I hate to say it, I am willing to work with you. Right now, your interests and ours appear to be somewhat the same.
"However, if you do anything that causes Kikyo to hurt herself, or leave the village, you'll find that I will no longer be quite so friendly.
"On that note, I hope you enjoy your stay here in gorgeous Konoha."
Sakura turned, and continued on her way, as if nothing she had just said mattered.
Did I overdo it? I think he'll get what I'm saying, at least. And that's all that matters.

Zero stared at the swirling leaves almost as suddenly as they appeared, a girl stood there once they ceased, "I am a number representing nothingness." He looked away from Mai, sitting with his back pressed against one of the large appendages rising into the air from the roof of the mansion. He spoke like a riddle, but then again, he also wasn't expecting to talk to anyone. Cutting her some slack so he spoke again, "My name is Zero..."

Biting back Hard -->| Mai Ito;;Mai raised an eyebrow at his riddle, and was inwardly relieved when he explained. She could've guessed, if she wanted to, but didn't.
She sighed. Tired of dealing with all these new comers.
"What's your village?" She asked rather bluntly.

He still looked away, "I don't have a village." That was obviously a lie considering he had a head band tied loosely about his neck, but the metal plate couldn't be seen at the angle she was facing him.

"No village, huh? What's on your headband then?" She asked nosely, seeing the fabric tied around the back of his head.
Mai wasn't dumb. He wasn't going to fool her.

He turned now, the symbol on the plate would be different than any she'd seen. An 'S' shape with shallow curves and an 'O' in the middle of the curves, "A lot would have just accepted my answer... You're interesting."

"Different? I've never heard that one before." She said, before studying his headband. She didn't recognize it, but it still intrigued her.
"What's the sign stand for?" She asked curiously. However, her curiousity didn't show in her voice. She kept her face emotionless, and her eyes cold.

He'd look away again, not used to having any one keeping him company, "The Village Elders called use the Village Hidden in Between. Partly because we were centrally located between the Five Great Shinobi Villages."

Biting back Hard -->| Mai Ito;;"Interesting." Mai said, for two reasons. One, for his Village title, and the other because of his unfamiliar conversation skills. Mai's weren't the best either, but she could at least keep a conversation with someone, while eyes were locked.
"Do you work for Orochimaru, or the Akatsuki?" Mai asked suddenly.

His upper lip pulled up slightly at the name 'Akatsuki,' "I don't work for anybody, I live only to destroy Akatsuki, and anybody that tries stopping me. Pein is mine, if anyone else kills him, I kill them." His tone was very serious at this point, and his confidence would likely leave any dumbfounded.
