caitlin_neko Proudly_Jewish Pistil This applies to my sister, not me: When you sign up for three different language courses in one year. (She wants to take French, Spanish, and German in high school) I would take 3 language classes in a year but we're only allowed a maximum of 2 crying So I took French and Spanish domokun My school won't let you take any language related things BUT French and Spanish until Grade ten, so I'm taking 'em both as well domokun In the school my sister's going to, German is available, but only if there are enough students to make it worth it.

... You're PISSED OFF at the fact that they're offering German next year at your school and you're effing gonna miss it, verdammt...
Especially as you've been paying for the course for the past, I dunno, how long?

@Proudly: Kind of like mine. It has English, Spanish, and French. The only other language related programs are exchange things which are completely and utterly NOT recommended for a first-year highschooler. So I'm trying to convince my dad to send me to Germany in Grade Ten blaugh @Sola: My school doesn't offer Latin, unfourtanetly. I might've taken that instead've Spanish otherwise, but I'm stuck. XP @Eccentric: Didn't assume I was. I assumed a good portion of the guild would do something like that, hands down. whee @Pistil: My school does do exchange programs, which I'm hoping to be involved in in Grade Ten. But that's the best they do for more languages that I know of so far. rolleyes @MiwSheri: That would royaly suck gonk ~~~~~~~~~~ ...When within a few short days you find yourself already putting aside extra time to keep up with a Language Guild. *Coughs* Err....I wasn't supposed to be in bed twenty minutes ago? mrgreen

...when you begin to lack the ability to form a coherent sentence in your native language.
...when you're thinking about cleaning out your closet to make room for a desk and bookshelves completely dedicated to your veritable language library.
I'm guilty of both of those...

Eccentric Iconoclast ...you watch a movie with a group and don't realise that it's not in English until someone yells "I can't understand it! It's in French!" (Yes, this happened. sweatdrop ) I get that too a lot gonk This one time I was talking to this guy from France on msn and we decided we'd half-talk in English and half-talk in French, so that I could practice my French and he could practice his English. So, we're talking in French, and all of a sudden I'm like "wait! o_O we're speaking English! when did we switch?" and he was like "20 minutes ago..." Needless to say I'm too used to both langauges to notice a difference anymore >o<

My Japanese isn't even to the level where I could be called a n00b, and I'm basically just starting on Russian...
