Armus sighed when Corrah stepped between her and Ruran. The kid needed a lesson ... but obviously Corrah wasn't going to give her the chance.
She smiled at Rhea, seeing him starting to get to know Corrah a bit. "That's Corrah," she told him softly. "Alpha male. Get to know him, he's the big boss around here."
Corrah nudged Ruran with his foot to make him sit down and tend his fire again. The boy had obviously been exaggerating about what he had been learning. He hadn't learned much about fires at all, he had run for a total of five minutes, and his 'fishing' had been nothing more than futile splashing around. He would tell Armus later, he decided. For now it wasn't important.

Ruran grunted a bit as he was forced down and he sighed. Stupid females he hated them and not any of them were like Idhril. She really was something special.
Rhea continued trying to lean forward wanting to get more of a smell of the alpha male. He even tried to get to the ground. He knew he had to submitt to the alpha male or there would be trouble.
He wriggled out of his mother's arms and wit his head lowered, ears back and his tail low moved towards Corrah watching him and hopping that he would be allowed into the pack.
He debated trying to speak but mabye if he showed he could speak he would be more accepted. "Goooraaah" he said softly, then dareing to look up with his mixed eyes he said softly, "Rhheaa"
Kanis turned to watch Corrah, Armus and Rhea. She had seen Corrah move between her brother and Armus though she did not like seeing people punished or embarrassed she was curious.

Corrah felt something behind him and he turned around to see the wolf boy sniffing at his robes. He could see from the boy's ears and tail that he was showing submission, and he couldn't help but be curious.
And then he spoke ...
Corrah raised one eyebrow and looked down at Rhea.
"So ... Rhea, is it?" he murmured softly. "You show intelligence ..."
More than some.
He nodded, then reached down and touched the boy on the shoulder. "Very well," he murmured. "You may stay."
He looked over at Armus. "But you're taking care of him," he said flatly.

Rhea smiles softly and licks Corrah's scared hand gently. The alpha accepted him so he was safe. He smiled and then nuzzled the warm smooth cloak thinking about trying to get the alpha to play but he seemed a bit preocupied with something so he just padded back over to his mother his tail wagging at the good job he did.

Armus grinned proudly at Rhea, her eyes positively glowing as she reached her hands out to him.
"Of course," she told Corrah happily. "I wouldn't dream of passing him off on you."
Corrah nodded. "Good," he grunted; and then he turned his attention back to Ruran.
Celebor, Niyana and Ruque were themselves almost there, Celebor walking close to Niyana and Ruque riding on Niyana's shoulder (his transportation of choice, apparently).

Rhea giggled and jumped over Armus's hands once or twice before allowing her to pick him up. He laughed and wagged his tail as he looked at Corrah but the alpha turned to look at the other boy.
Ruran had gotten a fire going without smoke and he was trying to figure out how to put the fish on it.
Niyana smiled she was carrying a basket of food for everyone. She had not known what Corrah and Armus would like so she made little bits of everything, with Ruque's help of course. "Well we are almost there...I wonder if Ruran is still hanging..."

Armus giggled and pretended to be trying to catch Rhea before she finally picked him up and snuggled him close. "Such a sweetie," she cooed, reaching into her bag and holding a piece of meat high above his head to see if he would try to jump for it.
Corrah knelt next to Ruran to watch him closely.
"Good," he murmured. "For now just let it burn and try to dry yourself off. Once it's just coals, wrap the fish in leaves - fresh leaves if you can - and put it in the coals to cook it."
He straightened up, his elvish ears catching the sound of a voice on the breeze. "I think your parents have arrived," he murmured softly.
Ruque was holding a little pouch with some berries that he had picked for his siblings - the only thing he could carry, the rest was too heavy for him - and at Niyana's words he tried to sit a little closer to her head.
"Corrah is scary," he said quietly, fearful of the approaching encounter.
Celebor smiled. "I'm sure they're all just fine," he said reassuringly. "Come on, I think I can see them. Everything will be fine, don't you worry."

Rhea barked and nuzzled her before he saw the meat. She was going to make him fat but the more he ate the quicker he would grow. He jumped for the meat but it was just a bit too high for him.
He tried to jump again and missed then he looked around and seeing his pack mother's leg was bent and down near him. He smirked and ran jumping onto her knee then jumped at the meat in a quick movement. He grabbed a hold of the meat with his fangs.
Ruran nods, "Yes sir..." he sighed and set the fish aside and leaned closer to the fire to try and dry himself. He looked up to see his parents just entering the clearing then he looked back down to the fire.
Kanis heard Corrah and smiled, "Aras...mom and dad are here!" She stood up and waved seeing her little brother, "And Ruque is here as well!"
Niyana laughed and nods, "Yes he is a bit scary but some people are, and you don't have to worry Ruque you are safe with mom and dad we wont give you up to Corrah." She smiled and looked slowly to Celebor, "Oh I am sure your right but still they are our babies too. its just a sad to let them grow up." she laughed and waved the hand that Ruque was not on. "Hello everyone!"

Aras cracked one eye open at Kanis's words, and then she was suddenly wide awake and she jumped to her feet and squealed, "MOMMY! DADDYYYYYY!"
She ran for them as fast as she could go, making a beeline straight for their father.
Celebor chuckled and scooped her up, nuzzling her nose and then hugging her. "And how are my girls," he said brightly, heading towards Kanis to pick her up as well. "How was your first night without us?"
Armus giggled at Rhea and tugged a bit on the meat, only gently so that she wouldn't pull any more of his teeth, and then she let him keep it.
Corrah turned to face the others once more, letting Ruran focus on getting dry.
"Welcome back," he said quietly, his face expressionless.

Kanis smiled and watched her sister run to their parents. She followed behind her slowly and smiled, "Hello mom and dad, how was your walk up? How are you doing Ruque? Our first night? It was very fun."
Rhea growled a bit and pulled on the meat and growled playfully before he got the meat and he giggled chewing on it as he turned to look at the new people. Where they part of the pack too?
Niyana smiles, "You both look very well. And so do you Ruran." she smiled, "Well we brought lunch for everyone as well as your things if you wish to stay." She smiled, "Oh I see you have a new friend Armus." she called out.
She smiled at Corrah, "Thank you sir, how are you today?"

Celebor picked up Kanis and hugged her along with Aras. "Our walk was fine, thanks for asking. I'm glad you're enjoying your time here."
Ruque grinned and waved at Kanis. "Hi!" he said brightly. "I learned how to fix a cut and how to cook rabbit! Mama says she's going to teach me healing and cooking! And when we get home I can make you a special dinner, Mama said she would help me!"
Armus smiled at Niyana. "This is Rhea, I found him last night and he took me as his mother. He'll be training with the kids, if you don't mind. It will mean they can have training partners."
Corrah nodded at Niyana. "Fine," he said softly. "Just fine."
Though he wondered if Ruran would say the same.

Kanis giggled and hugged her father before smiling at her brother, "OH really? That is great! One day you should for sure cook, I will look forward to cooking and I will come to see you when I get hurt so you can fix me good as new." She laughed warmly.
Niyana smiles and sets the basket down and setting Ruque on his father's shoulder she walked over, "OH he is a cutie...he was wandering around alone up here? Sure he can train with our kids...they all need training."
Ruran just worried about drying then he walked off to try and find some fresh large leaves.

Ruque grinned at Kanis from his new place on Celebor's shoulder, then slid down to join his sisters in their father's arms.
"But you have to promise you won't get too hurt that I can't fix you up no more, okay?" he said brightly. "You're gonna be a great fighter, I know it! And I'll make you lots of good food so that you can be strong!"
Celebor chuckled and moved to sit down with his children, glad that they were so happy to see each other - though it seemed Aras had already fallen asleep leaning against his shoulder.
Armus grinned at Niyana. "Yeah, he's an adorable little pup, and he's plenty smart too. He doesn't talk much, but he's learning."
She hugged Rhea and grinned at him. "Aren't you?" she beamed at him.

Kanis laughs and nods, "I will try not to get too hurt so that you can take care of me. " she smiled and looked at Aras, "She was up early in the day playing with Rhea and then she walked all morning she is very tired."
Rhea smiled and looked up at Niyana his tail wagging happily he barked softly and moved to sniff Niyana's leg.
He was smart? He raised a brow and nods, his mother sounded so happy and proud.
Niyana smiled and knelt down patting Celebor's head, "You are a cutie little one" SHe smiled, "He does seem like he is trying to learn.

Ruque grinned at Aras. "Yeah she looks really sleepy," he agreed. "Maybe she'll sleep the whole way home too."
Celebor smiled warmly. "Then perhaps we should head home right away so that she can sleep in her bed," he suggested, glancing over at Niyana. "What do you think?"
