Asakura mused, leaning back on her elbows, closing her eyes.
"I mean, in all honesty I don't know where I'm going after this, and..."
Her voice trailed off. Did she want to serve the government after this, as a weapon? Would they give her the normal life she wanted, or make her work?
"I don't want to go back to where I was before..."
She added quietly. She turned her gaze to Rin.
"Maybe older people just wake up slower than us?"
Guitar, guitar...?

Matthew started to walk through the tree's lookign up at the sky.
He could make out a faint noise of music..
He smiled as he found Ken up in a tree.
Silently he began to climb until he was behidn Ken.
"hey, would you like to spray paint your guitar now?"

Asakura raised her head, but by the time her train of thought had pulled into station he had walked away. She blinked twice.

Rin wondered if she should do the same thing, just get away from all of this once it was over. Maybe buy that place in the mountains one day; she had loved it the one time they had been there. Besides, she wasn't much of a water person. Haha, ironic, someone with one eye who would love to move somewhere because of the view.
"I guess." Rin said as far as Asakura's question. She watched as Matt left to find her brother. For some reason, the tension seemed to almost disappear as he left; perhaps it was because he was such a despressed booy, and it brought that mood whereever he went. But now she had a chance to talk to Asakura, who she wondered if she was a robot, or at least not 100% human. But what to say? She hadn't thought that far off.
But noticing that Asakura asked a question to one that wasn't there, she hid a smile as the girl looked confused. "Ah, he went to go find Ken. Both of them play guitar, and chances are you'll have plenty of time to ask one of them to teach you." she nodded, before laying in the dry grass and staring up at the sky.
"Still.......I wonder how this whole camp thing'll turn out."
Ken had been playing the guitar and noticed the boy climb the tree. Good thing, otherwise the sudden sound of anotehr behind him would've made him fall right out of it due to fright!
"Oh, hey Matt. Sure, I'm sure there's still time before breakfest; Benny wasn't awake at all when I left, and that was not too long ago.
Crystal came out of hte cabin, dressed and somewhat awake, when she heard snoring in the boy's cabin. Curious, she went inside and was surprised to find that Benny was still sleeping. Sighing, she picked up the man's alarm clocked and got it to start ringing. How come he was the one still sleeping? He had no troubles as far as the kids sleeping last night!
Benny groaned at the noise. "Five more minutes, ma........"
Crystal grinned, hidding giggles as she decided to go to a motherly voice. She knew what she sounded like, and this gave her an idea. "Aw, cmon now dearie! You need to wake up and give mommy a kiss, then you need to get ready for school!"
Benny, still asleep and thinking this was really his mom, nodded and sat up, bare chested and only in boxers. It wasn't until he was inches from the girl's face did he wake up and let out a startled cry, falling right out of the bed, blankets and all. Holding up the covers over his bare chest, he looked rather angry. "What the 'ell, Crystal?!"
"WHAT?! I didn't tihnk you'd ACTUALLY believe me! Hahahahah, Oooh that was gold!" Crystal took a moment to to lean against the wall in exteme laughter as the man mumbled curses under his breath and took out some clothes. "Oh, stop hiding your man chest already; it looks weird when you do that." she added, yawning again.
"Then start paying me to look; I didn't grow these fine abs for nothing!" he chuckled, as he went into his office to change, seeing the female staff member roll her eyes. He returned a few minutes later dressed. He was about to yell at hte woman for doing that near kiss thing, then noticed that she kept fiddling with her neck. "Your neck cramped up? Didn't you sleep in the bed assigned to you?" he asked her curiously, fixing his hair.
"Well, I did, for awhile. Ah, I was wondering if you were curious; one of the girls was having issues last night, Rin. At first I thought it was a nightmare she was having, for she kept crying out words in her sleep and stuff, but then I noticed she was awake and shivering under her pillow. She looked almost traumaized, so I asked her what was wrong. Turns out that Sakura thing she keeps seeing was getting some payback, something about gorey images and zombies. I ended up sleeping next to her, only because I knew by her face that she wasn't lying. I mean, she was crying and everying, but she just kept apologizing for being a bother..."
"Interesting, but I was worried about something like that. Matt I don't think slept much at all. Seems to be the one with imaginay creatures that are having some problems." he sighed, before nodding towards the door. "Cmon; we better see if anyone else is up."

Matthew smiled and made his way down the tree.
As he got lower he went and stood on the branch waiting for Ken.
He noticed Ken getting up and started going down again.
"Well i have four colors...You can paint it coal black, sky blue, crimson or neon green. I'm painting mine three of four..."

"Jaaa... Maybe, maybe I could build a place up in the mountains over there? We could all live there together, no one'd find us..."
Asakura motioned to the wilderness spread before them, at the thick carpet of pine trees that encircled the smooth peaks and the huge lake. In the grey silver of her eyes the scene was reflected, as were the dreams she harboured. Dreams... not the kind that consisted of darkness, but the sort one would have of an ideal future, where nothing went wrong... Perfection... The mecha sighed. What use was there to have such dreams, when it seemed her future was planned out before her? There was no hope for the unnatural... She fell back onto the grass beside Rin, eyes half-closed to watch the clouds.
"I think you're one of many there, Rin-chan... I guess this sort've thing won't always end happy..."
Rin knew, didn't she? She just... had trouble asking. Might as well clear the air... after all, Crystal said she probably knew, so... The android took a deep breath.
"I'marobot."

"That'd be nice...a place in the mountains together." Rin agreed in a soft voice. She wondered what that would be like, everyone here with problems cooping up in one place. It'd be interesting, to say the least. But she wouldn't feel alone, and hey, no one could say she was insane.
As Asakura mentioned her second to last and third to last sentences, the girl silently nodded in agreement. She had no idea what the future would hold for her, with the issues she was having with Sakura the fairy. Demon was more of the right word, but she wasn't here at the moment. Pobabaly snickering to herself somewhere, planning another way to get back at Rin for getting Crystal to help her sleep.
But her friend suddenly let out a blur of words, but since Rin's hearing was rather good (had to make up for partly lost senses, after all), she was able to tell what the girl had said. So she was.....a robot. Rin turned over to her and grinned.
"Ah, I was wondering if it was something along those lines. In truth, I had been planning to ask you about that, but that's not exactly a comfortable everyday conversation." she chuckled, laying back more comfortably on the grass.
"It's kinda cool though; at least you have all these neat super speed, super stuff abilities. No one can mess with you."
Ken also came down from the tree, guitar on his back and thinking of what colors to use. He looked at the cans for a moment and put a finger to his chin in thought.
"Hm........I'm thinking crimson and black would look pretty spiffy. I'm not much of a blue person, and neon green might hurt my eyes a bit." he thought aloud.

Asakura rolled over onto her stomach, picking a blade of grass.
"Yeah, admittedly it's not the kind've thing you just go 'round asking, especially if you get it wrong..."
She laughed.
"'Though I guess I'm not really good at keeping it a secret, because it seems a lot of people are drawing conclusions between speed and being a robot..."
She shrugged.
"The thing is, though, the reason I want to get away from where I'm coming from-"
She paused, her brow wrinkled.
"That sounded wierd..."
The android shook her head.
"Still, the reason is, the government prob'ly wants to use me as a weapon. I don't think I could deal witht that, y'know?"

Seem's I'm not the only one who doesn't fancy blue..
I'm planning on painting the base black...
Then doign so grafeetie ((Sp..)) in crimson...
I'd probably write things like death...
and my nick name ((it's EFOD)) and yeah.."

"Heh, I dunno, it just seems that that kind of blue on a guitar would look weird." Ken replied, being careful as he took off the strings one by one, so that they wouldn't be ruined by the paint.
Rin also laughed; Asakura had worded it perfectly, her first sentence.
"Well, if you're curious as to why, a few key things:
1) the ankles show that it's not competely skin.
2) Super speed......most track runners can't even run that fast.
3) How quickly you seemed to eat; heh, I've yet to see even one of Ken's piggest friends wolf down the food yesterday that quicky." she giggled, getting off of her usual serious self for a few seconds, before going right back to her normal tone. "But you were in a hurry, so you head an excuse."
As she listened to why the girl was here, Rin was surprised, and yet not. Only the goverment would be that stupid to want to use an innocent robot as a weapon. It made her wonder if she was human once; if so, that made them all the more heartless.
"That's not fair at all; whatever you do, don't let them use you for their own purposes. You have your own future you can carve out for yourself, one that wouldn't involve destruction. Besides, they only use people for their own gain." she said suddenly with a serious tone as she looked up at the sky and it's fluffy shapes; it was obvious that she and goverement like officials must not be very good friends.

"Oh yeah, Matt twigged that as well..."
Asakura glanced down at the circutry, partially obscured by the plastic wrapped around it.
"Maybe I should find a way to cover it better... But hey, my appetite is difficult to deal with! I not only have to deal with myself, but my parasitic mechanics."
She stuck her tongue out.
"Stupid scientists found a way to feed off my own biological way of producing energy, so..."
She didn't seem so bothered about something that really sounded pretty unpleasant, but for her it was just a normal function of her body. Asakura shook her head.
"No, the thing is, I don't think I have much of a choice. People can rework the mechanical part of my body, and eventually it'll force me to succumb."
Whilst Rin's eyes were to the heavens, the android's were to the earth, and to her fingers tracing things in the dirt.
"My future... is now. I have a choice to make, whether they control me or not."

Rin was silent for a moment as Asakura seemed to finally show that she was indeed having some issues. "Eh, we have plenty of time to figure out how to cover the robot parts better. I'm sure Crystal would also be happy to help you out.
Well, as for your choice you must make, I guess they could rewire you to do that, but only if you let them. Remember that YOU have the powers, and therefore you can call some of the shots.
Here's how I think it would turn out if you succumb to them. Call it my two cents if you'd like:" she sat up for a moment, but kept a leaning back posture and looked up at the sky, her voice almost solemn.
"If you do follow the government, that would mean you'd have no control over who you are. You'd be forced to kill people in other countires, men, women, and children of all ages and conditions. Burn down buildings, crush everything beneath your feet; they'd use your powers to such an extent that you'd become a monster to all those around you, but not by choice. Since America seems to be so prideful of itself and God forbid some other country gets ahead in something, you'd be on news shows and stuff all the time, but what you'd say wouldn't be your own words; like a puppet you'd be working on the goverment's strings, perhaps even a preprogrammed speech. They wouldn't give a damn on your well being; probably just lock you up somewhere hidden, away in isolation til they needed you again.
I-I'm sorry, I'm being way too harsh here......." Rin grew silent for a moment and stared at the ground a bit before she turned to the girl, laying back down next to her. Sometimes Rin was just TOO honest and sometimes even too brutal, but most of what she spoke was truth.
"I have no idea how you came to be who you are, and I won't ask since it seems to be painful for you, but part of you is still human, isn't it? You wouldn't want that destructive possibility to be your future, would you?" she asked her, her one eye looking with curiousity but with a kind tint to it.

When Rin went on about her future, Asakura's head had been bowed for the entire time; her thick orange fringe covered her eyes and she barely moved, although she listened intently. When she finally turned to face Rin, her grey eyes were swimming in rusty tears.
"But I don't want that!"
She bawled, her cheeks wet with salty, red-streaked tears. She shook her head, red mouth open to reveal gritted teeth against the sobs.
"And I don't know what to do against it!"
Her tears sparkled in the sun as they were flicked from her cheeks by her furious shaking.

Matthew esily removed the strings,
then grabbed the black can spraying down his guitar.
"Ken hand me yours..."
Matthew stuck his hand out behind him waiting for a guitar to be put into it.
"You want the bottom coat black right?"

Rin immediately wished she had just shut up about Asakura's future when she saw that she actually broke the robot down to tears. That wasn't much of a friend, going on like that. But still, a robot; that took some hardcore butt-like attitude.
"I-It's ok; don't cry! Why didn't I just shut up? some friend I am..." she said and mumbled the last part, almost in panic, which was never her forte. But she stopped and brought back her kind look and smile, and wrapped her arms around the android friend. She knew, but not on this level of trouble, what it was like to be stuck with something she didn't want. She held Asakura close, letting the girl cry on her shoulder if she needed to. She felt....almost connected to the girl in a way. It was hard to explain.
"Nobody would want such a fate; they'd be sick in the head if they did.
You can fight against it; you're a citizen, you have a heart, and feelings. After all, I've yet to see a robot cry til now, but that was my own fault. I apologize. But it shows you have feelings, which I doubt that the people would want to see you configured into something else.
But there's another thing: you're not alone; I'd bet my other eye that plenty would fight back the goverment and keep them from taking you, from just this camp alone. That's not even counting all the other people out there. I know I would, although I dunno how much I could do. But there's all sorts of court systems, evidence, that would put you in favor of having your own life. You could find a wonderful job, or go to school, move to that house in the country if you wanted.
You won't be taken away from here, and even if you do, it won't be without a fight."
"Yeah; that'd probably look best." Ken answered, handing the boy the guitar.
