Minixi looked curiously at Vox's hand, and what was swirling around it. She grinned, and met his eyes. "How did you do it?" she asked, grinning even wider. "Genius... but what happens when you use it...? Does it..." her eyes lit up "harm the Imariquan?"
Alayah spotted a few bubbles in the distance in the stream. Would there really be fish swimming here...? If here is indeed where I think it is... but her train of thought was interrupted. A body rose up to the surface of the water. Alayah let out a horrified gasp. "Clyth!" she breathed. What had they done to him...? He was in the company of two vicious demons... what had they done...?
((wait, what did he take? his power, or his soul...?))

Ceren caught a glimpse of the floating body. "So this is who we're looking for? Is he okay?"she thought. She caught up to Alayah, and stood behind her to catch her breath. She walked to Clyth and turned him gently so his head would face the air. She kept her arm under his back to support him. "Hey! Are you okay?" she asked.

((Can't you people read monologues?! Yes, I think it is somewhat clear that the blue flame was extracted from Clyth by Vox, along with a major part of his life force, the Vox used this energy to reform it to a power all his own.))
Clyth tried but could not move his lips. No sound came from his mouth. He could only think, it was as if he was paralyzed. What is wrong with my body? Clyth thought. His body still could breath, hardly. Clyth's head simply fell limp back into the water. His eyes remained empty. He was like a marionette.
"Of course Minixi..." Vox responded. "Imariquan and humans alike... And not simply hurt them..." Vox clenched his fist tightly. "But eradicate the body and mind after straight contact!"

((HEY!!! I understood the monologue completely! You said that Chicken Man was chased up the Muffin mountain by tacos! ...Um... I think... Didn't you?))
Lance stood, watching Clyth. He was just able to see the rising and falling of Clyth's breathing and waited. Then, without another thought, he dove down underwater, trying to find where Clyth had been. And hopefully, who was there to do such a thing. Inevitably, he had to swim back to the surface and catch his breath. Once more he dove, only to break forth through the water's surface again. He looked at Clyth. As he idly stood, he became enraged. For the final time he dove down beneath the depths of the water. But this time, he didn't come back up.

As Ceren watched his head move just a little bit, she felt a little relieved. "At least he's alert."she thought. "His energy seems to be severely drained. There's not much I can do for him. We should get him to a hospital." She placed her free hand underneath his head to cushion it. She wasn't sure if it was okay to move him that much. She looked at Alayah and sighed. "Is there anything you can do for him?" Ceren asked her.

Alayah splashed through the water, which was now about up to her chest, and over to Clyth. She could see that he was obviously very weak, and might even be unconscious. Or worse... She nudged the body to push it gently closer to the shore. "We may have him back, but we still need to take care of those demons. They've obviously done something to him. I'm not sure what it is yet. He doesn't feel... the same... as he did before. If I'm correct, we should be approaching a cave soon. The water will continue to get deeper, so I think we'll need to swim at some point." Alayah looked at the others to see if they were still accepting of the plan. She could almost see their skeptical expressions as she turned her head.

Ceren helped Alayah place Clyth on the riverbank. She still looked worried. "Should we bring him? Or, if you want, I can look after him." Ceren looked at Clyth. She felt an ominous feeling coming from the direction of the cave. She felt that whatever it was wouldn't do any good for Clyth.

Vox turned his head. "Something is after us... I know exactly who it is." The demon began running to meet up with them.

Ceren could feel Vox's overwhelming presence coming toward them. She took out the small rod that was on her waist. The rod seemed to respond to her will and extended. It became a long black scythe. The weapon Ceren held was no ordinary scythe. Vox wasn't the only one she could feel. She could feel Minixi's presence as well. She could tell that Vox was more powerful. She looked at Alayah, "There are two demons. One is the place that you speak of. The other one is coming here. He feels even more powerful; you should be careful."

Vox walked down through the cave humming a tune. He approached a door. "The gate of the two worlds, finally breached by mortals... Oh how the mighty hath fallen..." Vox said. He stretched out both arms and launched a spell, it opened the gate. hundreds of hideous eyes glowed and demons weak and strong all flew forth, flooding into the pool of space between the gate and the outer world. "The siege of the outside begins now, and I will lead it!" Vox screamed following the cloud of darkness he unleashed.
((perhaps the antagonist should win this time eh?))

Ceren walked to Clyth. She felt even more demons emerge. Ceren hardly knew Clyth, but she knew that he didn't need to be hurt anymore. She gripped her scythe waiting for the first wave.

((That depends. Who's the antagonist in this case? Sorry, I'm a little tired right now...))
Lance was holding his breath deep under water and saw the gate. And all the demons emerging from it. And he saw Vox. His eyes darkened in color and hiis brows deepened, creeping closer to his eyes. He was completely overcome by rage. Surely his blue flame was nearly visible. And surely Vox saw him, although he could not be sure. But he continued to look at Vox until he jumped to the surface. "So soon it begins. But I can assume that so long until it ends." He spoke before swimming towards the cave. He was looking at Vox through the ripples in the water. And for once, he was so engulfed in rage, he thought, instead of acted.

A group of demons arrived to attack Ceren and Alayah. She sliced through the weaker ones, as much as she could. But they were a lot like cockroaches in their methods of attack. They easily evaded a lot of Ceren's attacks. "They must be attacking us methodically. These weaker ones are only the pawns, meant to tire us out. Yes, that's right. I feel stronger demons behind them. There waiting until we get tired." she thought while fighting.
