Hello everyone, I am Keriael. I am in the marching band, and indoor colorguard. I play the flute.......
One habit i have is that i say "sorry" alot. So sorry if that gets on your nerves.
I would really like to learn the Japanese language. My school doesn't offer classes for it...

Hello! My name is Spud or Jessica. Whichever one u want to say. I really really really want to learn Japanese! Its the best!!! I also want to live in Japan and go to so many concerts and buy so many cds!!! lol! But yeah i hope this guild will help me to learn the language!

Hello, I'm new to the guild.[pionting out the obvious]
My name is [insert name here] but you can call me Liz or something else you might prefer.
I have tried learning Japanese by myself (I'm not that good at it) Hopefully this guild will be able to help me.
Also my schoolmates aren't all that open about Japanese culture so discussing it with them is a big whoop.
I like to read alot of manga and chapter books.
Music is my LIFE.
I draw/sketch for hobbies
I'm 14, turning 15 this year. [I cant wait to get my permit sweatdrop ]
Hopefully I can be friends with people here. heart

My freinds like to call me cookie.
I want to learn Japanese so I can go to japan after I finish High School.
My best friend since i was 4 "whos a boy and who I went out with before I moved" is Japanese and he totally opened up the culture to me and showed me how awsome it is.
My friend who lives in my new town is teaching herself Japanese and is totally inspireing me to acheve my goal.
uhhh i guess thats it you can call me cookie if you want or how ever you say cookie in japanese I just started learning so i havent gotten to far into it.

Hello, my name is Neri. I've been studying Japanese for upwards of 5 years now, but only seriously for the last 3. I studies Japanese at first because it was different, but now I study it to become fluent. I know that fluency is quite the lofty goal, but I plan to major in Japanese in college, and possibly work at an eikaiwa after I graduate.

I've been trying to teach myself Japanese for a while now
and can't really get the hang of the word order and all
that and I also don't have anyone to converse with. So when I
came across this guild I thought I would join in hopes of meeting
new people as well as more interesting suff about Japan. :]

Hajimemashite? Watashi wa Gwendy Hollanes, a 21-year-old nikkei-jin (well, from ancestry at least) from the Philippines. I've held a great interest in Japan since I was a kid. I love anime and such and have been trying to learn the language by myself with very little results. I hope to learn more as I go through hear, and hopefully have some grammars and spellings and such of mine corrected, especially since I'm working on a novel which incorporates the Japanese language.

hello ^^ i'm a new one razz
i'm a canadian girl who lives in germany and i'm 18 years old. I'm interested in japan because the culture is very interesting most of them the old style (Geishas, tea ceremonys, okiyas etc.). in the future i want to go to japan (and USA ^^) to see how the japanese live. i like their clothes o.o crazy style <3 and sushi is so delicious!
i cant understand japanese crying but i can read/speak it very well.
so may i can learn here a lil bit more razz ^^

Before I make any more mistakes because I have horrible Japanese, I'm self-studying Japanese. Why? Because there's no Japanese course anywhere here. I have a cheap and crappy English-Japanese dictionary (only English to Japanese) and I'm waiting for my order of "The Handbook of Japanese Verbs". I have many reasons why I want to learn, but its too long... I came to this guild so I can share conversations (if i can) and learn a little more of the language.

Hey, I'm Andrea! Feel free to call me that, or by any variation of my username, whichever you prefer. I'm 20 years old and am a junior in college. I'm double majoring in psychology and Asian studies (my emphasis being Japanese, obviously). This is only my second semester learning the language, but I'd self-taught myself alot of the majorly important stuff until this year, so I like to think I have a fairly good grasp of the language and its structure. In the fall I will be studying abroad in Kyoto for a whole semester, so lets hope that I can improve my Japanese skills before then. 3nodding I love Japanese culture for its tradition and for their sense of who they are- something America can't really boast in my opinion. sweatdrop
Anyway, I joined the guild in hopes of boosting my skills and maybe learning some new things. 3nodding
