Devi looked up and smiled. "You know, you could stay..." She got down from the swing and stepped in front of him. Her innocent green eyes looking up at him.

Elgarez shook his head. "I severely doubt that," he said. "My Superior has already assigned me to a new mission. As an angel, I have very limited free will. I am but a servant in the eyes of my Superior. I do as he commands. He is the one who tells me to slay the evil ones." He looked down. "It is my purpose. I must kill."

Devi smiled and touched his cheek. Then she slowly backed away, going back to her swing. "You should come back then...."

Elgarez shrugged slightly. "If it is my Superior's wish," he replied. "He has his eye on Baylor, so the possibility of me returning has increased. My Superior also insisted on bringing other angels, just in case. He is well aware that I can handle pretty much anything, but Baylor has caused me enough annoyance for one lifetime, and therefore I'll get a break. That is, unless things get ugly."

Elgarez nodded. "I know that," he said. "However, if I disobey my Superior, my life will be in danger." He thought for a moment. "The only way for me to stay here would be to give up my angelhood, but that would render me a mere human." He looked down at the ground. "So much power... lost."

Devi swung back and forth slowly. "Go with your heart then...And dont say you dont have one." she said simply, watching him in the corner of her eye.

Elgarez thought hard. "If I became a human," he began, "I would surely be killed. The amount of enemies I have obtained over the years is mind-numbing. Now, I've got Baylor on my list." He crossed his arms once more. "Think about it," he said, "if he discovered that I became a human."

Elgarez nodded and unleashed his six full form wings. He leapt and took to the skies, flying off into the night and back to the Heavens.

"He is married to his work. His work is a b***h too." Jusaku saw him fly away. "I will meet him again. But its not going to be for a while." He gave her another glass of blood wine. "You wanted this?"

He looked at the moon, it was being covered in clouds. "I am not tired at the least. My rage came out. So I might not need sleep for another 2 days."
