Kailani - thank you heart , I (and I'm sure the rest of ttc-ers) try to do that XD But, when you have ppl everywhere asking u about it and preg. women surrounding u, it becomes quite hard. sweatdrop But you are right 3nodding I'm gonna talk to my husb. and make him realize that jokingly asking me "are u preg yet?" is noooot funny stare

D: What brand of preg test r u using Sashanaru? First Responce is a great one for testing early. 3nodding

I just have the internet cheapie strips. Some girls on FF told me that they aren't always as sensitive as they claim.

Argh.. I thought the while pointof the test strip was to detect it earlier..

*kicks*

What do you think of my chart?

thats what i've heard from many ppl biggrin I heard good things about those tests only from girls that used it after they definitely missed their period. Like by a week or more XD

I think u can get first responce test x2 for $12 or so. biggrin it depends which store you get it from.

And ur temps look peeerfect. A dip and a second rise. 3nodding

I was so darn excited earlier...

Now im just sad. Hubby is a bit irritated that I tested. He didn't want me to because he knew I would go emo on him.

Of course he felt bad for getting annoyed and apologized but its just so hard to see a good chart and then have it be all for nothing..

sad Well, its only 13 days PO. I think usually testing starts at 14 days PO.
I'm sorry I might be giving you false hope, its just your temps are going up and up and your lutheal phase was 12 days last cycle. sweatdrop

Well, I guess you can just take 1 day at a time, something has to happen until 18 days PO (AF or BFP) *hugs*

Hey all. Glad to see others TTC around now!
When my husband gets back from his submarine patrol in March, I'm hoping to get pregnant then.
I even bought a kit off the internet to test pH balance and some pills and a diet plan to help with conception of a girl. It's supposed to be about 94.7% effective.
My husband being on a submarine also increases our chance of a girl by about 80%, so I am REALLY hoping this will be a girl, because this is our last munchkin.

I was freaking way too much. Trying to calm down and not be so sad. It's really hard though. I find myself overanalyzing every little thing my body does..

argh..

Yeah. Apparently it's when they've been out for more than 60 days, their body senses the gender imbalance (or more accurate, COMPLETE lack of women) and feels that to "further the species" they need to make more females. About 80% of people who get pregnant within 60 days of them getting home have girls. Interesting, huh?
Apparently the raditation can have a small effect too, killing off the smaller, weaker male sperm... but nowadays they're not exposed to nearly enough radiation to make that much of a difference... it's too bad, LOL!

And thanks, Cup of Tea! I dropped my other baby board because when I said I wanted a girl, I got ripped to bits about how I should be happy with whatever I get (of course I will be) and how if I'm not, I shouldn't have any kids. So... f*** them. I'm glad you all are more open-minded.

Savina - I think its perfectly normal to want one or the other, esp. if you already have a child 3nodding whee

The only info about girl/boy selection I've heard was that for a boy you have to bd right before an ovulation and for the girl a little further from it. But...there were studies done on that and they disproved it. sweatdrop

Sashanaru - if you come up with a way to stop oberanalyzing and freaking out abou this - do tell me! mrgreen I'm calm right now during the menses, but I know the craziness is coming D; One of this days I will stop charting o.o it was so much calmer back then <.<'

Sashanaru - u chart and ur neg. tests just don't make sence to me D:!!
Lets hypothetically say that day 6 was an OV day. (i just can't come up with anything else <.<) and that would make it 8DPO today.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 12, 2007 8:09 am

yeah I put a question in for the FF Guides because people are like "you should have gotten a BFP by now"

Argh.. promising chart for nothing

**edit**

Got a response from the FF guides:

FF

Well, the fertile cm and initial temp shift do make it appear that ovulation was on cd19. And really a BFN before 14dpo is not unusual at all. The earliest reliable test date we find is 14dpo and even then some positives do not show until later. When testing, it is important to use a reliable brand test and concentrated urine (if testing in the day limiting fluid intake and holding urine 3 to 4 hours before testing). Have you done this today? I'd give it 2 days more and try again but if you're then still seeing negative, it isn't beyond belief to consider cd29 as O (as suggested by the research tuner) as there is a very clear thermal shift then as well. Temps thereafter are in what appears to be your post O range from last cycle. And you did discard some temps earlier on that I wonder if they are representative of your pre-O range and might suggest the later shift as well.

What do you think?

*hugs* sad

waiting, waiting and more waiting gonk Fertility Friend has been shifting OV days on me too xp

If you will end up getting more of preg.tests - try to get First Response, i think they detect the smallest amt of preg. hormone.

Hubby thinks that the reason why I was 2 days late this past cycle was because I miscarried very early o_o. I did have a heavy AF, but I'd rather not think that thats what happened gonk
