"Hmm.. that's not good well might as well use it"
Eve pulls out a her carrier bag and looks inside pushing many things out of the way till she hears jingling.
'Their it is!"
Eve pulls out a small pouch and inside is 150 pieces of gold shining in the glim of the sun.
"I only use it in emergencies, so it should get us a room if you like one. Think about it while we're walking."
Eve continues to walk till she see a store which is open.
"A store open at night...might as well looks interesting."
She walks inside the bell jingles as she enters to see two people a man and a older women.

((I'm assuming I'm the one you fall in the mud in front of? If not I guess I'll change things won't I? By the way CRow, I don't think any one except Millie is in the shop right now...Karl just took a mudbath ^^; Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though, it does happen.))

Kemry smiled, it was their time, wasn't it? She stepped around Elizabeth, watching her. "What did I do? Only followed some crazy, tempermental--" she stopped as she looked forward, alerted by the sounds of a chattering bird and a loud splash as Karl tumbled out the door. She flashed a wicked grin as she tried to keep from laughing and glaring at the same time. He cheeks burned in embarrassment as he stood up and looked at her, and she quickly turned back to Elizabeth to school her expression as she spoke.

"Him, actually," she said motioning over her shoulder with her thumb, "I think it was the least Millie could do to apologize after I acted like a noble idiot and followed him into the upper middle district in town." she turned back to Karl, her expression schooled now into an unreadable mask of indifference.

"Isn't that right Karl?" she asked almost brattily. Even though he had acted so acidicly to the same innocent and albeit slightly naive show before, Kemry couldn't help but try to egg him on. I'll show him I'm not the pushover he probably thinks I am after this morning. Her thoughts were determined, and she stared him down, a wicked spark in her eyes escaping beyond her facade of indifference.

((Yeah, Sorry CRow, I just tumbled outside of the shop. Millie would be in the shop, in the back finishing the food preparation. The shop also only has one entrance, the other door is always locked and can only be opened by Millie's evil eye. I'll have Millie come out and greet you though.))

Karl looked back at the two girls...women...and although initiall embarrassed, his round eye became acutely thin, now glaring them down. He sent Shanks up and back into the shop to see who'd just walked in to make sure they didn't steal anything of Millie's. He wanted to go back inside and eat his first meal of the day, but here he was, dirtied up and dealing with a nuissance from earlier today.

"And what do you want? Stalking me now are you?" He gained his confidence and stepped around and behind Kemry. "I mean, I know I'm attractive, but...that doesn't mean you have to go crazy or anything."

He stepped back around and into the shop. Sure he had mud on his a**, but he got the last word and the penultimate smack of the door closing.

He had a smirk now, but realized there was a customer, and needed to deal with her. Before he could speak though, Millie came out with a heaping pan of pan-bread and other food she had whipped up.

"Welcome to Braunschweigs. How May I help you?"

Elizabeth's mouth hung open as Karl slammed the door shut. She turned to Kemry and stated,
"Well he's charming" and blinked.

Minron had just placed Shade in her stable and went to his quarters. There he stared into the mirror by the door and saw bypass the darkness in his hood. What was beyond that hood would frighten any mortal and scarred them for a long time to come. It sickened him of what he had become, so he looked away from the mirror. Minron left his dungeon like quarters and left the house. "Off duty again, what's the point of it?" He sighed and walked towards whatever awaited him on the streets. Minron dug in to his pack and pulled out the dark cross necklace he was afraid to loose. "Am'I that afraid? I guess, that means no one can ever have this..." Minron tucked it back into his pack and continued on.

Tempted to refuse blatantly Kemry shook her head and took the polite route. Millie didn't deserve the rudeness.

"Actually Lady--I mean, Millie, I really just came to drop off this thing you gave me, whatever it is, and maybe pick up some food. There are some really hungry six year olds back at the inn who haven't eaten since this morning." she pointed to the package and nodded over her shoulder. "If we could just do that and go..." she trailed off as she met Karl's eyes and shot him an evil glare before he bowed and headed off.

Kemry sighed with resignation, leaning against a shelf to get a better look at Elizabeth. "I'm leaving this one to you Elizabeth," she said with a half smile, "The last time I was with the guy her nearly killed me before having an emotional breakdown about who know's what. Maybe we should just, I don't know, go snatch something ourselves." she paused for a moment, remembering Minron and his arcane dagger. She had recognized some magical insignia's around the shop and for a moment her curiosity sparked. her next word's were bold as she emphasized his name.

"I'm even willing to take a second round with Minron."

She glanced around the room, looking for the effect it had on Millie and the two girl's standing somewhat out of place in the middle of the floor. I wonder if this woman employs other street rats, she pondered as she looked at their ragtag clothes, And if she does...Why?

"Well, suit yourselves." Millie said, turning to the girl who had introduced herself as Eve. "I'm glad to have you deary. Follow the young man who went upstairs. He'll serve you up something nice."

Millie turned herself back to the other two girls and nodded, turning away. Before she reached the door of the kitchen, she turned around, and spoke, having heard what Kemry had said about...Minron.

"You know, his devices won't work here. These walls are made with old, old wood. And see that symbol," she said, pointing to one of the various symbols that were spread out on the wall.



"That, my dear, is the Evil Eye. It tells me when my enemies are coming, or when the enemy of an friend of mine is coming." She sauntered back, placing a hand on her hipbone and and removing her apron, hanging it on her arm, when she began speaking to the girl Kemry called Elizabeth.

"You must decide who you are to me. Friend or enemy." Just then, one of the eyes began to glow.
