Origin
Breloom is based on a mushroom and its body structure resembles that of a kangaroo. The shapes of its head and tail resemble that of the armored dinosaurs, Pachycephalosaurus and Ankylosaurus, respectively.

Then you're blind. It has the body of a Kangaroo. The legs and tail are shaped like that of a Kangaroo, and the position of it's head is about the same as well. I have no idea how I forgot about that. Speaking of which though. Kyuurem has some relation to a comet apparently.

But a Zodiac. I agree with the first part, not so much the second. The Zodiac would be rather difficult to pull off if they all evolved from the same Pokemon. With such a wide range of appearances it would be hard to have them all share a series of dominate traits with their 1st Stage like with Eevee. Still, another Pokemon with similar adaptability to Eevee would be neat.

Anyways, it turns it there's already an actual Kangaroo Pokemon: Kangaskhan Touche. I hadn't really thought of Kangaskhan. Though the shape of Breloom is still a valid point on it's own.

Tsuki the Lunar Wind Grey Moonfang IV Tsuki the Lunar Wind A Kangeroo Pokemon? It'd be a normal/fighting type. Technically Breloom is somewhat Kangeroo-ish. I don't see it. Breloom is more or less a mushroom with legs. ...what? The only thing Mushroomy about it is its cap. Its based on a Kangaroo/Raptor.
Edit: spoke before reading the whole second page.
But keep in mind its a mix of a Kangaroo and a RAPTOR. Raptors don't have pouches.
