By the way, it may seem a bit strange to be concerned about such a thing given the circumstances in the game, but >should I pull a Kratos in Hima and remove all of Aerith's materia and such before that one scene?<

I don't think so. > I don't think you really don't have to worry about it because she leaves the party prior to that one scene. Though you won't lose the materia you had equipped to her. <
