Lol, after beating Nebilim, I decided to go after Van again with the catalyst weapons. I think they were still a bit weaker than the other weapons but I still pwnd him... xp

Korsall Kaiser I came close to defeat roughly three quarters of the way through because of Big Bang, but I managed to recover and win! I even had 4 spare Life Bottles at the end! biggrin Big Bang. The memories. (ToV spoilers) > Duke loved that Mystic Arte. Fortunately...
1. He didn't like it as much as Alexei did that Brilliant Cataclysm thing.
2. He liked it more than his "Brave Vesperia" Mystic Arte."

It's not the angel thing I hate. It's the backstabbing and the lying and the hiding things that I hate. Although Yuan only really earns my ire for being a total pain in the neck throughout the game.

Evilweirdo 0 An optional fight kept you from playing Abyss?... Indeed. I became obsessed with the fight to the point where I wouldn't even play my second playthrough file. As I do with most other video games, if I get stuck at a point, I completely leave the game for some length of time then return later and almost always manage to break past what was giving me trouble. Often going on to complete the game.

I was thinking that, after doing the main quests in Skyrim or even beforehand, I would, for real this time, begin FF7.
