Hours after entering the training room and practicing, Zeths face was pale white and the floor was almost slippery with sweat. His attempts to catch his breath could be heard outside the room along with his saber's hums. The agile movements and tiring swings of his sword gave him time to reflect on what has been going on recently. Trying to train a padawan in the ways of the force, the assisting of thwarting the Dark Jedi which had failed, and the death of the head council member. All centered around aggresion in the air. He stood in the room looking at his sabers.

"So much violence in the temple all the time. This is supposed to be a place of escape FROM that same violence....not attract it......No more"

He turned off his sabers and lowered himself to his knees, drawing a dagger inside his boot. The blade reflected his image as he slowly grabbed a handful of his hair and sliced it with the dagger, hair peices falling to the ground as Zeth had cut his own hair. He held the handful and walked out of the room. He noticed that without long hair, it was much colder inside the temple then before, it felt almost relaxing to him. As he made his way to his quarters, he passed by Kari's room and saw the light was off. He felt that what had to be said was important, so he walked in quietly, keeping the light off and gantly sitting beside her.

Sephiroth waited a few minutes as the Jedi Knight took his leave. Now in private company, he then turned his attention his Padawan, Fina, a pleasing smile growing on his face.

First of all, I'd like to thank you, Fina. Had you not made the call to come back here, then, well, who knows what mess we'd be in now. Which leads me to my next point...

Sephiroth stood up, tidying his robes so that he would look as smart as he could for such a formal occasion. Though he still looked exausted from the recent "adventure" he did not look half bad.

Even before I accepted you as a Padawan, you all had to the skills to become a Jedi Knight, just you required an opportunity to prove it. Well, you achieved that long before my rescue. Therefore, I now grant you the title of "Jedi Knight" and all the responsibilities that come with it. Congradulations.

Sephiroth then took a deep, respectful bow to Fina. He hoped that she would not be offended by the informality of the event, but the lack of Jedi Masters made it much harder.

Talon started looking at the archives. He found some information on many different styles. He then was done. He wished he had some friends that could help him train and become a knight. He was sure he would be ready to take on that title soon.

Jami gave Alyssa's hand a gentle squeeze, then finished his dinner and turned in the tray. "I'll be back in a bit. I need to go talk to Master Adonis." He smiled gently and headed off to find the Knight. He found the man in the pool. Jami stooped by the side and bowed. "Master, forgive me if I got you in trouble with Master Sephiroth. I saw the way he looked at us and held you back. I'm very sorry, Master."

Jami nodded and stripped down to his underclothes, then dove into the water gratefully. He sighed as he came back up and wiped the water out of his eyes. "I'm always ready to fight because I was raised that way, Master. My father is an Echani, so I was raised learning that fighting is the only real form of expression. It's more that I'm trying to learn about my opponent through combat than anything else. Still, I've never liked fighting for fighting's sake. What do I need to learn about etiquette?"

Adonis dinked his head under water and brought it back up. "It's just something we'll need to work on...And...I don't mean to pry...but is there something going on between you and Alyssa?"
