kotaro17  Cherie Cherie watched the others sparring as Zada was in meeting with the teacher. Smiling as she came back over. About to ask how she did but Zada got to a question first. Blinking. "Oh...well," chuckling though at the mention of them as toys. They were toys, "well yea they are toys, but I'm more used to using them. See when I was little I realized I had this ability it's kind of like a telekinesis...though I can't manipulate all things. Toys were just what I first started to use it on...I would have an army of little things following me like an army. So I tested it on those. Then gradually tried on other objects. I can manipulate more manmade objects as opposed to natural things like say trees or vines, things like that. Plus toys are easier to store and carry around, because they're all remotely small but I can do a lot with them. If I need to use something bigger, then I use what's at my disposal, say if I'm somewhere specific and there's like Uh, electrical cords, or heck books even. I have to focus on the object and I can move it, throw it, use it in some way. Like the putty I used on you. It's very pliable for me so I can use it as a shield, or some way defensive...or even as a restraint as I did to you." Rubbing the back of her head. "Heh, I hope that answered that? Is there anything else?" It was interesting discussing these things. "And before I forget, you did alright I guess with the teach in there? Since he's meeting with everyone about the last mission." Saying Zada didn't seem to be freaking out so her grade had to have been alright. "I see " Zada replied Cherie's answer was fascinating but it wasn't going to help her locate a weapon that she could use, "I did fine but I have much I need to improve on, as you saw with out my cards I'm completely helpless, also I'm not physically strong so I lack a lot of endurance" Zada added when Cherie questioned how she did on the mission "Also my cards can be very destructive it was difficult for me to spar with you as I didn't want to use anything that would hurt you" She added not trying to sound like she would've beat Cherie if she wanted to but to hopefully see if Cherie could suggest anything to help

Cherie Cherie nodded listening, "Mhm...maybe you just need a training partner or something...do exercises or like hand to hand sparring besides in class to build up more endurance and a little muscle." not sure but suggested it anyway. "But still it's good you did well with the mission huh?" Thinking a bit, "And well if you need some type of weapon besides using your cards...maybe you can test out things to see what you might be comfortable with...Like some can use swords or whips, things like that. You just need to find some type of thing that you'd be comfortable with beside your cards." She'd given two suggestions.

Zada smiled as Cherie gave suggestions to help, exercise and working out were not something she could do easily, her body was frail no matter how she looked at it. "Maybe a bit of sparring hand to hand wouldn't hurt, but yes I do need to experiment with weapons to see which one suits me best, so far I am only good with a sword but only because my card allows me to be so" Zada stated as she recalled using the emperor card before the card allowed her to not only summon any weapon but gave her the skills needed to wield it masterfully "Cherie can we spar again? maybe you can teach me some basic hand to hand combat skills?" She asked wondering if Cherie would be in the mood for another sparring bout.

Cherie She nodded, "Yea...you just start out small and work your way up...You can't go running head first into working out...like trying to put in so much force at one time. You start where you're comfortable and then progress." About the working out, sparring. As she mentioned the weapons, nodding, "Mhm...wonder if any of the teachers has a room of weapons...and could let you in to just test them out." Smirking a little, that'd be one way to go about it. At Zada's next question, smiling, "Of course, I'd be glad to help if I can." Nodding, adding, "I probably am not so skilled as some others might be, But I do know enough to start off with." She took a stance, measured apart about the same as the width of her shoulders. Hands up in fists. "So...you don't want to have a wide stance...you know have your feet too far apart, it makes it awkward trying to move and strike...So about the space that measures the width of your shoulders or a little less if it works more for you. Fists up at the ready, but don't tense your body, you want to be loose and relaxed. To be able to move lithely...think snake like. If your opponent attacks first you can put up a block or try to dodge, and then you strike, because one is most vulnerable to an attack as they're attacking or have just completed an attack...There's always an opening to attack someone in that instance so you have to move quick, don't take the time to think about it or they'll have recovered. Don't try to go kicking right away, mainly use your fists, because taking the time to go kicking your opponent takes more energy and it opens you up to more retaliation before you get the chance to recover from your movement. So unless you've got a good opening for a kick, mostly stick to these." Holding up her fists. Her arms weren't too far apart either and her fists were just about eye level. "You want to keep your face protected, and your arms not to far apart. You can use your forearms for blocking. Or your hands. It mostly depends on where the punch is coming from, but you want to try and keep one arm/fist up here to guard an attack at your face or head if you can." She did slow moving attacks to demonstrate what she was mostly talking about, she did a slow punch to Zada and was telling her how to move her arm to block and now her shoulder or side was open when she thrust her arm out. "So then you can block with the one arm and maneuver to hit me where you see an opening. Is this all making sense so far? So we can do some light hits to practice and work up to doing more, to get to quick movements." She didn't know any complicated moves, just simple enough things for sparring anyway.

Olivia looked to see that Cammy was rushing over with her hand on the hilt of her sword. "Cammy! Stop!" he yelled. He saw that look in Camory's eyes. Just like at the circus. Olivia dashed towards Camory before he could hit anything. If Cammy was able to bring out his sword already Olivia would clash against it with one of his knives. "Calm down, we're just sparring." he said as Zada came over and said that both Cammy and Penelope needed to go next. "Youre up next Camory go." said Olivia putting up his knife and pointing him towards Penelope's way so she could take him to Flos.

Penelope apologized to the slap. If she needed to hit or throw a punch she'd throw a slap. When all of a sudden seeing Millie fight Oli Camory somehow snapped. "Camory! Wait, what are you doing?" she called to him but already ran off. Seeing how Olivia intercepted him before he could do any harm Zada came over and told them Flos wanted them. Seeing Oli facing Camory her way Penelope held out her hand so Camory would take it and go with her to Ms.Flos.

 Hate all you want, but you can't break the girl who thinks nothing of you. So go ahead. You can't be compared to me.Millie was surprised to hear a female roar from behind her. She turned around, her glare at hand, but she lost her nerve. The sword was intensly close. It was flying down at her. Whisking down to lop off her head. Cammy's eyes, she recognised though, weren't holding the intent. "Cammy! Stop!" Oli dashed passed Millie, blocking the sword thrust with inches to spare from Millie. Millie, stumbling in shock, tripped over her own feet and landed on her butt. "Calm down, we're just sparring." Millie was staring like a frightened kid at Cammy's blue eyes, unable to think and process that he hadn't really been trying to kill her. She wasn't about to die again. She wasn't in that black nothingness. She was alive. She felt her body, her heart beat, her amassed soul fidgeting in it's shell. "What's going on here!?" Tess had sprinted over. She'd been watching Millie's fight begin. Normally Millie didn't react in such a way. Normally she'd have seen the pale girl coming and just droppd from the range. A thought crossed her mind. Did she actually drop her guard? Tess glanced over, finding Caeleno the harpy dissipating. That was enough proof. Millie had completely lost focus and had been taken by surprise. Apperaing concerned, Tess knelt down to her little sister. Millie caught herself and cringed away, disgusted by Tess's nearness, but she was aware of what Tess had seen. Millie had been shaking. Tess grinned at her, a spark of danger in her icy eyes. "Are you alright, Granny?"Millie's hackles rose in response to the sarcastic nickname. "I'm fine!" Millie snapped, shoving the sister away and scrambling up. She pointed a fierce glare at Cammy, furious at him for attacking her and starting some sort of domino effect with her sister finding some sort of adavantage or weakness. "You really are a p***k, you know that? Think before you rampage!"Hate has always given birth to more hate. The gyre will widen, and sense drifts farther and farther, chaos ensuing.

Camory rushed forward at Millie despite Olivia's call for her to stop. It was as his words didn't even reach her ears. The clang of metal on metal as Oli intercepted her attack however seemed to snap her back to reality. Cammy blinked and her eyes had turned back to normal. Glancing around she looked confused, and when she noticed she was locked up with Oli she let out a startled yelp and stumbled backwards, landing on her butt. "ah! Oli. What are you doing?" she asked, looking down at her sword in confusion, wasn't she just sparring with Penelope? Cammy reached up and touched her cheek, it still stung from when she slapped her, so it definitely was still there. When Zada approached them and said that she and Penelope where up she staggered up to her feet. "ummm...ok..." she said, patting herself off and heading off with Penelope. Suddenly Millie accosted her, calling her a p***k and telling her to think before she....rampaged? "huh?...look I don't know what your talking about. I gotta go get evaluated." she said, kinda brushing him off.
"....wait this recipe's in metric...Olivia! Heeeeeeeeelp!"  Flos watched as Camory came forward first. "Camory Chiefer. Unsurprisingly you where the weakest link on the team....again" he said, showing no hesitation or restraint in chiding her for her weakness. As the most underpowered student here, a mundane human in fact, it was a given that he'd end up with the lowest performance, but the show was a bit ridiculous even for that. "first of all you did not assist with the actual investigation at all, instead because of a personal incident you abandoned the mission and shut yourself inside you trailer. This in of itself is completely unacceptable. I don't care what issues you have with your relationships or whatever, but do not let it affect your performance on a mission. Also due to isolating yourself from the others you managed to get yourself captured, needing the others to free you. Then once the fighting started you once again proved to be a burden. Loosing your main weapon, going beserk during a fight, getting fatally wounded twice. You only saving grace was that strange form you took during the fight with Bilbo that helped turn the tides in your team's favor. Other than that you where in every way a liability instead of an asset." he said, really giving it to her hard. The whole time Camory just stood there with her head bowed low, not even bothering to make excuses. When Flos mentioned some sort of "strange form" she looked up, confused as to what she meant, but Flos had continued on without explaining. "could it have something to do with that weird dream thing?"she thought, remembering back to when she had died and landed on that weird underwater tower thing, though she assumed that had been some sort of near death dream or something. "because of this you get a D for the mission. I expect much better from you next time" Flos finished, Camory barely getting a better grade than Segarus, and she had straight up murdered someone. Camory nodded and walked off back towards the others, tears forming in her eyes that she tried to wipe away, but more just kept coming in their stead. She didn't look over at Oli at all, just sat down and buried her head in her knees and cried silently, trying hard not to start sobbing. Flos then looked over to Penelope, taking a deep breath before beginning. "Penelope Lona. Despite low expectations you actually managed a great deal." he said, gazing down at him. "you assisted Ms. Tenmaru in investigating the trailers and because of that discovered Chiefer after he managed to get himself caught. You also gained the trust of the two younger circus members, which proved to be an asset later on, all without having to partake in the consumption of alchohol. You also performed amiably during the battles, and over all proved to be a useful asset to the team. A" he said, his words and tone completely different from when he talked to Camory.

Zada tried to follow along with Cherie's teaching but it was pretty obvious she was not getting it, her stance was sloppy she looked like she'd fall over in one hit, not to mention she left way to many openings, also even if she tried to strike there was no foundation so her strike would do little damage if it connected and lastly she was too tense "I think I got it" Zada stated looking and correcting her stance but still not really helping her position over all Zada was no fighter "I think I may do better if I focus on dodging then making a defensive stance" Zada suggested she wasn't looking to be good at fighting but she wanted to be more defensive

Cherie Cherie watched what Zada did as she tried explaining things. And how she moved, going closer having her pause a moment. Pushing her feet with her own to get her into a better stance. "Like that...not too wide a stance..and you have do it where you have easier mobility. So that you can back away or dash to the side without stumbling over for instance." It was hard to get Zada into the right kind of zone for it, but as Zada remarked. "Okay...so, how about I go on the offensive, you try to dodge or defend. You should keep your fists up, so you still protect your face so no one goes for that kind of attack, and so you're more prepared to defend either way for whatever moves. Because if you have your arms just hanging at your side you could be struck more times then before you're able to raise your arms to defend. And I'm saying this in the scenario if you're not able to dodge, for instance if it's a close quarters situation." Like a small space and Zada was stuck without much room to dodge and run. Cherie moved Zada's arms having her holding them up the right way and ready. Pushing her feet herself so she was in a good stance. Because it still mattered, because with the right stance it was easier to ground oneself or move quicker when needed without tripping over yourself. She backed up getting into a fighting ready position and moved after Zada, doing light attacks first to get her into it, to figure out what was good for Zada in regards to dodging, guarding, etc.

Olivia frowned and turned towards Millie. "It seems that we might not get to finish our sparring." said Olivia and walked off waiting for Cammy to come back. When she finally did he felt a sad tension coming from her. "Cammy." he called to her, but she didn't look up. Olivia sighed and followed her and sat beside her. She must of had a bad evaluation. "Cammy." he said her name softly and wrapped one arm around the crying girl. "Dont let what Flos said get to you. I know she may be harsh, but you must learn and let it aid you." he said rubbing Cammy's back.

Penelope walked beside Camory and hid behind her as she got her evaluation first. She was a bit scared of Flos's tone with Camory and thought she might get something just as bad. When Flos was finished with Cammy, Penelope came from behind her and listened as she was surprised by her score and evaluation. "I...did good??" she thought and a big smile appeared on her face as she was over joyed. She thanked Flos and left after Camory. She saw the her and big bro sitting down and figured she'd give them alone time and play with Elora instead. She could use some training but...who could she ask to train her. She thought about asking Olivia or someone on the Hazard Squad.

Segarus was done doing a self pity act thing behind his tree. Silently he watched everyone go in and out of Flos's office. It's most likely he scored the worse. He made a mental note to go say sorry -and if that was impossible- go talk to Akira later. Segarus was getting bored of watching Olivia spar with the new folks, out of the corner of her eye she saw a little boy -she assumed it was Penelope- and walked over. "How did you do Penelope?" she asked as she walked over trying not to look so...scary. She flinched a bit remembering what Camory said about how she looked scary as a guy. ((So my posting really will be slower than normal because 1. Schedule getting hectic 2. I broke my left wrist on the rowing machines at practice this week so typing with one hand is taking well forever))

Zada studied Cherie's movement and opted to dodge the attacks rather than blocked them the only problem was she was able to dodge but not in away that would let her follow up with a counter attack still it was a bit of an improvement. Eventually Zada was able to counter one or two of the attacks thrown at her so she was learning.

Cherie Cherie kept up the attacking, as Zada was dodging. Smirking as Zada got in some counter attacks a couple times. "That's good, let's keep it up." Continuing more since the two had nothing more to do in class until it was over since the teacher had been speaking to students and either finished or not. Cherie was going quicker, trying to have Zada following quicker, even throwing in a kick or so, to show those were the easier times to try and counter or trip someone up. Cherie's pulse was up and moving with their practice.
