Thanks a lot! Hmm...at first glance, the ones that really catch my interest are Psych, Once Upon a Time, Grimm, and the Pretender. Now off to look up how many seasons and episodes there are. xd
Well hey, I liked the X-Files too, but I never got to see it through to the end. D: I should try to sometime.
...But damn, there hasn't been a character that's wowed me in ages until Dr. Spencer Reid. emotion_awesome Pajamas Sway Kinda missing this place, with goodies roleplays and such. : D Fuf. Rei is so wishy washy these days. You know you are very much welcome to re-join even if not for RPing and just chatting here. 8D
Heck, you've been more active than some actual members. sweatdrop

@Azura: xd The Fibonacci Sequence episode was AWESOME, and one of my favorites! I couldn't, for the life of me, remember the name of the sequence until that link. Thanks!
Alright, guys...? Does anyone here know how you're supposed to eat Japanese style Mochi? confused I picked some up at World Market, tried it straight from the box (it's green tea flavor) and it was all doughy and didn't taste all that great. I have a feeling that I need to cook it somehow, but all the words on the box are Japanese characters. Help please?

I have a feeling that I need to cook it somehow, but all the words on the box are Japanese characters. Help please? Mine too! I also loved the scene in the episode called "Damaged" where an inmate he and Hotch were interviewing set them up by arranging the end of his interview time to coincide with the guards' break so that the guards wouldn't hear the buzzer to let them out. Hotch was prepared to fight the inmate with his bare hands (they had to enter unarmed), but Reid kept him still and dumbfounded with his fact rambles for 15 minutes. Which was as much time as needed for the guards to come back from their break. rofl
Sadly, I could not find a clip of that scene! D: But it's the 14th episode of season 3.
And as far as I know, mochi is supposed to be like that. I think green tea is a rather dull flavor for it, to be honest...try red bean or peanut if it's available. biggrin

Heating it up in the microwave for a few minutes might work to better the texture a bit. Also, heating something up closer to your body temperature makes it so that your tongue can taste more of the flavor from it. World Market primarily sells factory-made Mochi though. While I'm sure that it changes for the flavors, I'm afraid you'll either love the stuff or you'll hate it. That's what I've heard anyway. That, and like Azura said, green tea probably isn't the best flavor, and that's especially if you're looking for something more dessert-like XD Strawberry Daifuku Mochi is a good one for that. I hope I was of help ^ ^

Thanks for the help, guys! biggrin I tried heating it up in the micro for 30 secs and learned... that it should NOT be heated up for 30 secs. sweatdrop The innards get dry and the outside tastes like gum (and even has the same consistency!) gonk Maybe I'll take your advice and try to find a strawberry one next time, but I think I'll wait a bit before I try to eat any mochi again for a while. Green Tea flavor as well, for that matter. crying Again, though, thanks! Sorry if I'm not sounding all that great. My stomach didn't agree with that last one... >.> *breaks out emergency candy cane for occasion* What? Peppermint helps! sad

I'd never tried heating one up after it was already made. I thought you might've gotten it in dough form(Seeing as the package is in another language, it would be easy to have gotten that kind without knowing it) but apparently I was wrong sweatdrop
