Alissia smiled softly following listening not seeming mad or anything. "Oh yes I am sure it would be an interesting story.... at least the parts she can remember." She said sitting on a spare chair waiting.

Olandrik timed it and once he figured Sardin should have woken and was still asleep dumped water on his head. Which Woke Sardin up quickly jumping to his feet ready for a fight just to get a towel tossed on his head. "Dry off and dress you nude fool!" Olandrik said sighing walking off to the dining hall to find something to eat.

Alissia broke out laughing at Lyra apologizing for causing problems. As if she told a very humorous joke. When Alissia calmed down and smiled she spoke. "Sweety I caused more problems then you have and I was younger then you when I had caused them. You want to actually cause a problem go get kidnapped by the king of the sea, or the dragon Emperor.

Boy the stories I could tell you about the crazy things I did would make all the things that happened in your life seem like nothing. Infact it's how I met my husband because I wanted to see the world and got into my share of ransom situations. I have i my life time been kidnapped and sold to slavery, or held for ransom over 400,thousand times, I got to the point I found it fun to break and disrupt my parents peaceful lives. Hell one of the people who ransomed me was Olandrik himself. My parents where all 'We don't barter with foul mages' And so I spend 8 years of my life as Olandrik's captive and it's how we became friends.

Because even though he put a mute spell on me to stop sound from coming out of my mouth I found another way with my power to use ice based magic. Frosting over what ever I could and making words form in the frost on anything glass or metal or dark stone. I drove him crazy to the point he just returned me without a coin traded to him for my return." She said smileing cutely winking a bit at Lyra.

"Trust me Sweetie you got gigantic shoes to fill before you can say you caused trouble for me. And Though I been looking for you and your sister to secure an heir for when I grow bored of being queen and retire letting a younger heir take up my throne, And to give you a nice place you can just come home to after you go out adventuring to just relax for a time and get spoiled by me. Your actually allowed to roam the world I wouldn't hold you back from seeking adventure, Or helping those who need it.

This is just well I offer you a home to call your own and give you safety and comfort from the long road traveled. A place to recuperate and call your base. If you find trouble out there and need help just send word and my guards are at your disposal. But you will also have your own guards as well you know. Actually it is tradition here to hold a tournament for fun when a new heir is named and chosen. So that heir or those heirs if more than one can pick from the vast amount of knights I have that enter the tournament all is welcome to join if they choose to. And those that enter.

You and Hitana can pick to be your personal guards that will actually follow you around on your adventures. And a few of those guards are well unique. Lets just say not all the guards you can choose from need a horse. But you gotta be careful with them, They have a horses a**, and if they smell a female in heat they get feisty." Alissia said and looked as if she was drooling over a thought of a sweet delight.

Alissia nodded smiling. "Oh yes I will be fine. But well after what happened I would allow the people time to recover first before starting the tournament for you to pick a few personal guards. You will be able to pick 5 each. And at least 2 needs to be with you at all times. One will stand guard inside your room as you sleep as well as one will stand outside. The only place they won't be is well unless you give them permission or are female guards is the bathroom.

Yes while you and Hitana will be up for replacing me when I get bored if that day comes or I am to pass on from this life, I won't be falling to my end or giving the throne up too soon dear. So you have plenty of time to adventure along with your.... horse...." She says blinking as the door opened and both the fire maned and tailed stallion walks in nudging Hitana dropping a brush into her lap and nickers turning sideways, and the blue maned mare walks over to the side of the ed sniffing at Lyra before pulling a blanket up onto Lyra and lays next to the bed watching Lyra.

"Which seems they wish to spend time with you even now." Alissia said laughing at this as a few guards rush in. "Sorry we tried to stop them but that one erected a circle wall of flames around us and the other put a water cloak around both of them and just walked right by us." The one guard a group of 5 guards that wore different style of armor then the rest as Alissia waved her hand softly. "It's alright boys they just wanted to spend time with their respective princess is all." She said excusing them.

Sardin huffed looking into the room. "I am about to head out to get the supplies we need, If anyone wants to come your more than welcome to keep me company for a 3-4 days ride to the next town for the supplies." He said watching Lyra with a soft smile.

"Alright but on the way up since it gets close to an area where a person needs help I think we will be able to help this person. Since it's on the way and by the time we get there to help the person Lyra's legs should be better by then." Sardin smiled and smirked as he looked to Alissia.

"Yes that will be fine just be careful infact I will send 3 of my personal guards to help protect you Since I see your still under the sedative effects too Sardin." She said nodding to three of her guards keeping the more skilled of her 5 here with her but just because the two more skilled are staying does not mean the three are poorly skilled.

"Also this will give you a chance to ride your horses and spend more time with them to get to know them better." Alissia also mentioned and the three guards vanished in a blur. As one of the remaining two sighed. "Those three will escort you and will show how to saddle and bridal your horses properly so they are comfortable for the long trip. There will be a second cart that is a covered wagon for changing and sleeping if the weather gets too rough for tents. Since you will be required to camp out at least once or twice before you get back here." He said bowing his head.

"Also feel free to take your time to get out there if needed. No need to rush and hurt yourself until you can walk better Lady Lyra." The guard added, As Lyra and Hitana would move so would their horses and Sardin walked next to Lyra incase she needed to lean on him.

Sardin helped catching Lyra and smiled softly. Getting a snort from her horse from time to time as it seemed her horse didn't care for Sardin catching Lyra so much but he did it to be kind more than anything. "Oh don't worry I am sure your legs will be better soon Lyra but if you would like I could do acupressure massage to help get your legs to wake up fully quicker." He said smirking a little as Lyra's horse tried biting him for saying that.

Once the horses was saddled and Lyra and Hitana was helped onto the Saddles to ride their horses Sardin got one wagon hooked up as the guards got the covered wagon set up and then everyone got on their way.

Sardin smirked a bit. "Oh I know exactly what a horse is capable of doing with it's hind legs. But not only horses are capable of that there are other animals that can do the same thing if they want or need to." Sardin smirked then added "I know because I seen it happen to someone who thought they could sneak up behind a deer and jump on it's back grabbing his antlers and wrestle it to the ground. Or at least go for a bare back ride on it and got hit in the head by rearing its backend up kicking outward. Well lets just say that person never tried that again." Sardin grinned a bit getting scowled at by one of the three guards following them.

Sardin smirked a bit. "Oh it's not a place its just one person that needs help. Because someone not saying who let slip of an immortality stone this person who had no interest in such a thing got trapped because someone else thought she was after it as well. And we are going to see if we can free her." Sardin said acting innocently as he drives his wagon to get the supplies they needed in Synda.

Sardin whistled softly as he traveled down the road. But then stopped looking up at the sky frowning pulling off the road after about just half a days travel and drove into a group of trees stopping and got off his wagon. Taking the horses to a near by stream from his wagon petting them and grooming them softly. "We will set up camp here." He said looking to the guards who seemed puzzled once the horses got water he tied their leads to a thick stone like fallen tree.

Sardin then got a hook and rope that was thick and hooked it on a flexible sturdy pine tree Using his strength pulling the rope down making the tree bend over the area of the stone log, tieing it down for a moment getting another hook and rope to do it to another pulling it down across from it and then a third before tieing them together where they bent.

Once released from the hooks sprang up a bit bound together keeping hold making a sparse covering over the log area and went to hook more trees and pulled them just level with the other trees thickening the coverage of the trees over the camp.

Sardin climbed these newly bent trees with a rope coil over his shoulder tieing them all into one canopy then using a tarp covering the top making it look like a rain shield that was dome like so the rain would not get on them if indeed it did rain.

A few of the guards watched this baffled the sky looked clear hardly a cloud in the sky. as one took the horses to a stream the other two left to ponder Sardin's actions. "Odd is he doing it to create a sun barrier for the princesses?" Just as if by que on the guard saying that there was a flash of lightning and rumble of thunder as dark clouds rolled in as Sardin was setting a pile of stones and wood near by digging a hole under the canopy.

Once the hole was dug with the shovel he placed it back on the side of the cart as a small sprinkle of rain fell then stopped Sardin placed the stones in the ring of soft dirt he dug out placing a few stones inside the hole as well he then placed the wood in the hole angled to lay pointed in the center. Seeing this they gave Sardin an odd look and then Sardin spoke. "I could always smell rain storms long before they roll into an area. Thanks to what I inherited from my mothers side." Sardin said and looked to Hitana and Lyra as the guard that tied the horses of the covered wagon to a strong branch before getting more wood.

"You might want to take your horses to get a drink at the stream. its from a well spring the water is sweet and will help them rest through the thunder and lightning. better to let them drink before the real storm hits us. There will be a few waves of sprinkles off and on." Sardin said as he got a few buckets and the canteens and extra water skins taking them to the stream to fill them. bringing back the canteens tied over one shoulder by ropes and the several large water skins over the other.

Before going back for the buckets and carrying a large grooved shoulder yolk bar. The two other guards would accompany Lyra and Hitana and their horses to the stream. And as Sardin arrived at the stream with this large wooden shoulder bar. He placed it onto the ground and began filling the 6 buckets from the stream. Once they all was filled he placed them next to the yolk bar taking it hooking the bucket handles into the groves 3 per side and squatting down put it over his head and lifting with his legs picked the buckets up which made the yolk bar creak from the weight of the buckets.

Back at the camp there came the sound of metal being hit as if hammered into the ground. A small pause then the sound echoed from the camp again as the one guard back at the camp was setting up a cooking spit over the camp fire area. Sardin used a ladle pouring water on the rocks and soft dirt around the fire to create a clay like barrier. Keeping the water ladle in that one bucket. By the time Lyra and Hitana would return with their horses the campfire would had been started and two tents put up for the guards. Sardin sniffed the air and sighed frowning more.

Once Lyra and Hitana would return he looked to them. "Seems like it will be late at night by the time this storm breaks. You two will sleep in the covered wagon It's already been set up. Their will be some wind blowing through here but the over head covering I did will keep us dry and most the wind will be blocked by this petrified log from a huge tree falling over and turning to stone." He said smiling to them as a table was placed for them to sit and eat at which a few guards was preparing vegetables and meat was being cooked on a hanging skillet over the fire.

Once the meat was cooked it was taken over to be cut up into chunks by another guard and placed into the heating water of the hanging pot which all the meat juices was carefully poured into the pot too and the rest rendered with water in the skillet to get all the flavor out of the skillet into the cooking pot. Once everything was placed in the pot it would be stirred every so often. Sardin handed cups of water to Lyra and Hitana as well as a canteen.

"The town we will be trading and buying supplies don't have a well spring but they use well spring water specially for treating people who work in the sun too long as it helps with hydrating people quickly. So the town uses it in medical practices and they will trade herbs that only grow in the area of this town for it, herbs that we are low on in Synda." One of the guards said as he looked to the twins. "We use the canteens to drink from during the trips. Only a sip once in a while will be needed. Of course with a water user that can just summon water out of the moisture in the air is helpful too if we get in a pinch." He said smirking to Lyra.

Sardin sighed. "She is twice as powerful as you Hitana and yes it is so if its so easy to get out of it why did she not do so seeing as she is more powerful than you are? No better yet let me ask you like this. What if it was you inside there and you was unable to get out? Surely she has family that is important to her as well. Like how you and Lyra are important to each other.

Sure she might not be into fighting but when she has to she puts up a good fight none the less. I have watched her over the years from a distance, She just wants to live in peace like everyone wants, But how would you feel if you was out looking for a new home for you and Lyra getting jumped and sealed away like that?" Sardin said it like this trying to play a guilt trip on Hitana.

"As for the town we are going to it is not exactly in a desert but the land around it is withering into a desert for some reason. In another 1,000 years it might end up as a desert which worries me. This place used to be so lush and green, Had a cool climate yet it sprouted lots of tropical fruits until the land just started losing the support of life.

As if something it sucking the life and water out of the land around it. They have built a magical barrier around the town to protect it as long as they can. But even the effects of the land around them have started to effect the lands in the magical barrier. While there I will go to see the Lady of the earth temple there to see if the earth elemental is in trouble.

It's the only thing I can think of. They worship and offer tribute to all the elementals guardians of nature. Fire earth air and water temples. Since I from my mother can use air I can talk to the air elementals and earth elementals from my fathers side. Which to make my lightning I combine earth and air together which can make lightning form out of my hands." He said and listened to the wind as it blew through the trees whistling.

"This is one of the last areas before we cross into the area where life is draining away rivers have long dried up which is why I filled so many canteens and water skins. The rest of the trip we will have to travel close to sun down and through the night until about 8 in the morning a few hours after sun rise it will get so hot we will grow so thirsty and tired we could injure ourselves easily just by riding through the day. And Lyra and her horse would be greatly effected by it.

But if we do travel carefully no harm will come to any of us. When we get into the drying out land Lyra and her horse will ride in the covered wagon until we hit the town just to be safe." Sardin says telling of his plans for the travel trip. "I also have a special canister of specially made meats its aqua jerky.

Dried meat with a water spell cast upon it to help keep a person from getting too dehydrated, as well as canned in it own juices cactus fruit as it's called. it helps prevent heat stroke, as well as cactus water which has natural nutrients to help with traveling through such conditions." Sardin assured them he was well prepared before he had them set off.
