In the Garden of Monsters ((Lame post is lame.))In a spectacular display of his vast and potentially lemon scented intellect, the Cranidos would do exactly as he had every other time the girl had attempted to run away. Locking his spine, the ancient Rock-Type would charge forward at full speed, attempting to ram into Vanni and break every last bone in her body.

Regret smiled as he saw the attack did no damage. Bronzor followed the ponyta's circles with it's mind, being psychic and all. Bronzor started to get a little mad at the ponyta "Bronzor let's try another confusion!" Regret shouted as the beam once again came from Bronzor.

Again the Bronzor's confusion would fail. Not only did the Ponyta's movements make it difficult to focus on the Fire-Type, but his single minded fear made an excellent defense against mental attacks. Cinders left in the wake of his mane and tail as he ran, the Ponyta would turn rather abruptly, charging toward the Bronzor with his head down and eyes closed. The intent was rather simply, rather then run by him this time he was going to run the coin shaped Pokemon over in a Tackle attack!

Well, you know what they say about insanity and doing the same thing, hoping for expecting different results. And while Vanni still got injured from time to time, she was still able to get away. The girl and the Pokemon ran deeper into the forest, and through sheer luck, managed to lose the bloodthirsty dinosaur in the woods.
After she was content she'd finally- finally- left the blasted thing in their dust, Vanni halted. She grabbed onto a branch, panting as she did.Culann heeled in next to her; he was less tired, but still concerned. And annoyed. Why had they avoided that fight? Types be damned! You didn't run from fights! Especially from something that clearly intended to kill you! But this was not the time to pick a fight, especially considering how weary Vanni looked. Instead, he pressed his bulk against her, letting her lean.
After a minute or two, she straightened up. "Thanks," she said, still a little breathless. She appreciatively scratched Culann's ears, which the Growlithe accepted with little fuss. The girl adjusted herself, fixing her skirts and her hair. She needed to recover, and she needed a plan.
And one came to her, though it wasn't quite of the norm. Or necessarily proper in Pokemon battles. But this was not quite the norm, and convenance did not seem to be something this place enjoyed. She fished two things out of her pouch- a Pokeball and a Potion.
In a white flash, the Archen appeared before them. To his credit, he succeeded in gliding to the ground as opposed to falling awkwardly.
Culann snarled. /Featherbrain!/
/Hairball!/ Though still weakened, the Archen clearly remembered the battle. The two Pokemon tensed to charged-
"Nope!"
A cane landed right between the two, stopping the battle before it began. Vanni stood over the two, looking down with mild amusement. "None of that, now. There's more important things right now than fighting. But first..." She carefully sprayed the Potion over the Archen.
The liquided misted over him before he could react beyond an indignant squawk. But instead of poisoning him, the concoction made him feel better. What witchcraft was this? /Why... why help? Human?/ the Archen demanded, glaring at Culann.
/She's like that,/ the Growlithe explained. /She's... a little odd. But she's kind to Pokemon. There are worse humans to be stuck with./
/Keh./ The Archen clacked his teeth, clearly torn. /Stole my food. And shiny thing! My shiny thing!/
Culann glanced up at the girl, who gave a light smile- how had he ended up, once again, being the mediator? No matter where he was, it would happen. /Vanni picked you some of the berries. We can grow them when we get... wherever we're gong. And she has your shiny thing./
Distrust giving slowly away, the Archen fidgeted. /... will go with. For food./ He preened, showing the edge of his wings, and gave a friendly trill. /Could be fun./
"You're kissed and made up? Lovely!" Vanni smiled, and petted them both on the head. Unsurprisingly, both of them looked put-upon. "Now, I'd like you two to stay out of your Pokeballs with me. Mister Archen- may I call you"Urvogel?- you know these woods, do you not? You could help guide us towards the shore. And Culann, of course, I would appreciate your help. Privately, she felt bad for not summoning out Bellona and Phoebe- but the former had nearly been killed in this place, and losing the latter was almost unthinkable. Either way, quantity had a quality of it's own. Perhaps a small group would be enough to dissuade some of their attackers.
/...Urvogel. Fine. Can live with./ The newly-dubbed Urvogel ruffled his wings, and clambered up the relenting girl to perch on her shoulder. The girl stumbled a little under the weight, supporting herself with the cane. /We go that way, Hairball,/ he said, motion with a wing.
The firedog sighed, almost certain this was a bad idea. But he would stick to Vanni's side.
Thus settled, the trio took off through the forest.

Jinn froze mid-step when she heard the voice. "Oh, come on..." she muttered. There were probably hundreds of these little rats down here- did she really have such bad luck as to run into the one that had it out for them? Was this because she didn't thank Kyorge for safe passage? Or since it was land, should she have asked Groudon for his blessing? She didn't know! Absentmindedly, she fingered her rope./
The Mankey, meanwhile, was annoyed, but not upset. Personally, he was rather glad for a rematch He followed the Sandshrew with his eyes, not flinching. However, the last thing said to make him react. /She... kicked you?/ Prosper stared at the Sandrew, and sniggered. /Atta girl! And I bet you flew pretty far, huh?/ The Mankey lept down off Jinn's shoulder and landed in a poof! of dust. Cracking his knuckles as he spoke, Prosper continued, /With any luck, she won't need to- especially because you can't cheat this time./ And without any warning, he flung himself forward, swinging to Scratch his opponent across the face.

(I dropped you before, and I shall do it again.)
The sandshrew would declares as he moved to avoid the incoming attack. His paws coming up as he brought them in front of him like a boxer's guard. He prepared himself to take his hits with a bit of pain on his side as he would move with the scratches ..hoping it only hit the hard scaling of his digging paws instead of the softer flesh.
Though he wasn't going to miss his chance to taunt the pokemon with his moves.
(Once I do that, I will make it a punt that cut off that leg your master kick me with)

Prosper's claws did make contact with the Sandshrew, but they raked uselessly against the firm yellow-gold scales. The Mankey frowned; this was a useful commodity, and if the Sandshrew hadn't been trying to kill them, he would have appreciated it better. Keeping his tone light, she remarked. /You'll make her leg into a punt? Bad idea. Flesh doesn't make good building material, and muscle sinks. 'Asides, she'll just as likely to throttle you if I don't finish this./ As he spoke, he dropped into a crouch and feinted left. Rocking on his heels, Prosper hoped to distract and dodge.

(I mis-spoke ...I am going to cut off her leg and punt it)
He realized how confusing his speech had been when he said it again to himself. He would tear her apart, and make punt each piece. It had hurt his pride more than his skin to be dealt with like ....a ball.
He would smash one paw backwards in the dirt as he felt that power in his paws. He was going to send that pokemon into the ground if he could just catch him as he swung his body forward and used Focus Punch aimed at him.
(Let her try it again)
He challenged both the Mankey and trainer in the same move.

He was no longer walking on a heat bound desert wasteland. Instead the air cooled and became cold as he glanced at the rocky terrain. The group were now traveling in the mountains. The boy hoped to find a pokeball or some berries to help heal his pokemon. It would definitely come in handy but where could he possibly find them? He began to keep an eye out, letting his icy blue gaze flicker back and forth carefully.Backpack// x1 Potion [1/10]

In the Garden of Monsters ((Hate to do it like this...but even after a day...I got nothin.))Proceeding forward the group would encounter nothing more then a series of rocks, trees, and a large spiral shell at the edge of a puddle.

The boy wouldn't make much progress before he would run upon his first pokemon. A colorful creature that prowl the snow ...as its body walked on small legs as the creature would huff itself up and down as if it was enjoying itself the snow itself. A Snorunt ...the creature would pay him little heed, because, Kane afterall had a purpose for traveling up those snowy mountain if he cared to remember ...an item he was suppose to be searching for.

The Mankey's feint worked- the Sandshrew fist swung left, and Prosper dodged right. //Hopefully, she won't need to deal with you, he remarked shortly. As much as he was enjoying the banter, he really needed to focus on the matter at hand. Trading insults with an opponent was fun, but not when he threatened to cut off Jinn's legs- be it to make a boat or just kick it. Without a moment's hesitation, he flexed his claws, and slashed a Scratch at the Sandshrew.

Though there was no fear of those claws as the sandshrew caught the pokemon's paw and twist on it harshly even as he caught it. His eyes were narrowed.
(What are you trying to imply that you are some sort of a a threat.)
He would tell him with a smirk on his face. There was nothing but a challenge there as he held his ground.
