Ceon turned to a human as Layna rolled off of him. "Layna!" Ceon held her hand tight as he looked into her eyes, "Everything will be alright, Layna. You'll be okay." Ceon shot Zarathose a disdainful look, "You son of a b***h...."

Zarathose plunged his finger into the bullet hole."Coen...Shut up,it's not my fault.It was an accident...I can't help it,though I am usually in control of my demon counter part I won't always be able to win."Fire wrapped around his finger and cauterized the wound"There,bullets out and bleeding's stopped."
He wouldn't be bitching if he knew why my demon took control.He thought

Layna let out a screech of pain as she felt and smelled her flesh burning from fire. Her hand shot backwards, her eyes opened wide, and bleary. She dug at the wound, whimpering, her throat too constricted for her to speak.

Zarathose snapped at Ceon"I KNOW WHAT I DID!!!!But it was only my survival instincts...OK!!!I had tried to kill myself back at my crypt,but I am a demon.There are two parts of me,the normal Zarathose and that...That...THING,you were just fighting.He took control ...because he doesn't want to go back to hell.And if I succeeded in killing myself he would have control of this body because my soul would be gone and he would have free rain.So it's not my fault...it's his."

(ugh. I'm loggin for the night. Please, I beg you. For the love of god, don't go on without me this time.)
Ceon glared at Zarathose, not believing one bit of it. he cringed when he tried to move his keft eye, and saw nothing but black out of it. He ignored the pain though and bent down to hold layna up, "It's okay, love. I'm here. I got you."

Layna whimpered softly, gasping at the burning pain inher back. She opened her eyes finally, and stared up at Ceon, her face becoming a mask as she hid her reaction at his eye. "C-Ceon..." She whispered. She quickly pulled away from him, a hand pressed to her heart. Had she really done that? Jumped in front of gunfire... Why had she?

Ceon looked down, knowing that she recoiled because of his now blind left eye. "It's okay Layna, it's just a scratch," he lied, "The good thing is that you're okay. Why did you jump infront of me?"

Wolf walked in,smelled other Lycans,and looked in the direction of them.He did not like what he saw,but he had to do something.Wolf ran to the wounded Lycans,silently praying along the way.When he reached them,he bent down on his knees.Wolf looked along the female lycans body,hit with gunshot wounds.He could tell they were silver.Wolf looked at the other Lycan,and saw his wounds."You guys need anything?" Wolf asked.

Layna let out a yelp as Wolf approached and moved backwards, her eyes wide. "...." She did not speak, instead she just stared. Ceon's question daunted her. She wasn't sure why exactly she had done it, but she had, and had ended up shot. But the pain had lessened now that the bullet was out, the burning from Zarathos's cauterizing the only thing that bothered her.

Ceon looked at the lycan in confusion, not even knowing who he was. "............no.......we're fine...." Ceon sat next to Layna and placed a protective hand on her.
