Layna let out a silent squeak as Zarathos joined the company. She whiffled softly, and turned her attention back to Ceon with a shake of her head. "No..." She whispered. She didn't want Razu to get hurt just because of her. She growled in the back of her throat, bending her knees slightly.

Zarathose's head kicked up a pissed off and mildly psychotic grin lay across his face...This was not good.The part of him still tied to hell had broken free.Now speaking with a doubled voice he exclaimed"What...No hello."As he said this he pulled a silenced nine millimeter from his side and fired a round in Coen's direction."Down boy!"He cried out with a satanic laugh.

Ceon ducked as soon as he saw the gun flip out. He then began to march forward, unsheathing his claws, "Move aside, Layna. I'll deal with you later." Ceon's teeth were now jagged and his pupils were almost completely gone.

Layna growled, her eyes wide and platinum colored. "No." She snapped her teeth in Ceon's direction, keeping her place in front of Razu, growls and snarls rumbling her body. "No!"

Ceon let out a loud howl in anger as he stood in front of Layna. Flames burned in his eyes, and he raised a claw to Layna's eyes, then lowered it to her neck, then her stomach. "Layna........he will not have you........"

Zarathose broke into twisted laughter"I think...I'll kill you all..."He whispered to himself.The hase of his demonic self visible though he stayed in his human form.He stared letting loose in Coen's direction.

Layna was frozen as Ceon's claw nearly brushed her eye, and then her neck and stomach. She was terrified, though her face did not show it. When Zarathos suddenly began to fire at them, she fell backwards, pulling Razu down ward. She winced as she heard a thud, and saw Razu laying unconscious. She stared at Zarathos, her form shaking. A demon. No matter how much anger she held, she was frozen with fear of them.

Ceon felt great pressure on his stomach then a breaking in his lower back. He looked down. A bullet had penetrated one of his scars from Daiguren. It smoke as the wound began to heal slowly, and he looked up at Zarathose. "I never liked you," Ceon growled as he turned to a lycan. He looked back at Layna and thought to her, Run, Layna. Save your life for another day. He then turned and began dashing at Zarathose.

Ceon bobbed, weaved, and ducked through the stream of bullets being fired at him. Several grazed his back and another lodged itself in Ceon's forearm. He whined for a fraction of a second, but kept charging, until he was right in front of Zarathose. He extended his legs as he lunged at Zarathose, claws outstretched and jaw snapping.

Layna let out a whiffling howl, frozen in place as she stared at the two fighting, and the sound of gunshots ringing in her head. What was going on? Ugh.... She pressed her hands to her ears, trying to block the sounds. She was always shaken at the sound of gunshots, muscles and fibers frozen to the spot.

Zarathose jumped back and landed on one hand and then launched himself into the air.He stopped and looked at his now broken finger"Hehe..I landed on my hand wrong."He grabbed his finger and reset the bone and began firing again,this time with a gun in one hand and his broad sword in the other."Here puppy PUPPY!!"He cried as he let out another barrage of silver hollow point"Doggy want a bisect."He cried out as he laughed the laugh of a mad man.

Ceon snapped as he was called a puppy, by a demon, no less. His eyes swirled into botomless pools of gray, and his muscles bulged. His claws grew longe as did his teeth. Ceon's ears shrank and twisted backwards. He zipped swiftly through the bullet barrage, silver bullets creating holes through his lower torso and arms. Ceon ducked as he drew a meter away and then barreled himself into Zarathose's knees.

Zarathose hit the ground as Coen nailed him."Thank you for coming to me!!"Blood seeped from Zarathose's legs but he ignored it.He slashed at Coen with his sword and fired at him at point blank range"DIE! MUT!!!!"

Layna watched, awestruck and stricken. Perhaps another reason she could not run was that Zarathos and Ceon were fighting. She pressed her hands more tighter over her ears, her teeth clenched against the noise.
