"I will live as long as I keep changing my skin to fur. My life will continue until the Gods wish me to lay my head down finally." Layna murmured, laughing quietly. "And yes, you do remind me of him. He's so protective over me. But I can take care of myself. I have since I was sixteen." She said. she laughed once more as she snatched the candy from her son to stick in her own mouth. He growled, grabbing at the candy, trying to get it back. Layna kept moving her head, grinning, eluding his hands.

Zarathose grabbed the candy back and Handed it to Gabriel,Zarathose grinned at Layna"You know why I am protective...I had to die so I could meet you,I had to die for you,and I had to fight through hell to come back for you....I'm not going to let my work go for nothing.Plus....I love you still."

Layna grumbled as the candy was pulled from her mouth to be given back to her son. He gripped it tightly, making sure it wasn't taken from him again. "Hmph..." Layna sounded. She smiled, licking the bit of sticky from her fingertips. "I don't know why I have three people fawning over me."

Layna popped the candy into her mouth with much relish. "A long time..." She murmured with a sour laugh. "And I went and ruined everything...Heh..." She ruffled Gabriel's hair lovingly. "This is the only man I really need, isn't it?" She said with a light grin.

Layna raised a finger. "I've heard enough "I love you"s and "I'll protect you"." She murmured with a soft sigh before she stood up. She smiled in a dignified manner. "I'm strong enough to protect myself." She said, a ripple of a growl passing from her lips. She smiled once more, holding Gabriel lightly. "I think I should get him home for a nap. He's been up playing all day." She brushed her fingers on Zarathos's arm. "I'll see you again, so don't worry about me." Turning quickly, she jogged down the sidewalk, still keeping up the appearance of a normal human being.

Zarathose waved as Layna left him in the park.He turned around to leave put stopped in his tracks...Some thing was close behind him,one maybe two hundred feet."Crap,they found me."He shouted as a small mob of people charged him from the other side of the park.He pulled a small hand gun from inside his jacket, he slipped into the shadows...And then he was gone.

Razu walked into the park. He had a feeling he shoulda stayed home instead of come out here to the park but he was tired of being at home and needed to come here. Where he first met Layna, Razu remembered with a smile. Jumping into a tree he relaxed and began to watch others in the park.
