I'm glad you've finally realized my true abilities, heh. I am a forced to be reckoned with!
*He looks at her and laughs softly. He notices that while she is soft and beautiful, she has a look that seems to say that she could probably take care of herself.*
You know, I bet you could probably fend off a bush just fine. Maybe even better than I could, heh.

*She shivered a little as a small breeze rustled by. Clever wished she had worn her other jacket, but I had been such a nice day out. She leaned on Hikaru a little for warmth.*
" I would still rather 'ave you around to fend them off."
* It was true that she had her strengths and was usually a strong and intedependent person. With Hikaru around, she liked having someone to lean on just a little, it made things just a bit easier.*

*Hikaru saw Clever shiver slightly and he looked at what she was wearing. Seeing that it wasn't much for a chilly night he worried about her getting cold. He felt her lean on him and didn't protest, he assumed it had to do with her being cold.*
Are you cold? Maybe we should go inside, or if you want to stay here you can have my jacket. I wouldn't want you to catch a cold out here...Then who would clean? The place would be a disaster!
*He smiled as he joked with her. He took to heart what she said about wanting him to fend them off for her, he thought it was a kind thing to say. As he thought about Clever, he was reminded of what Cap said earlier today about picking one before someone was hurt. He knew his problem, but also knew he wasn't in a position to be picking anyone as long as he was still hurting from Synge. As he waited for Clever to answer his last question, he brought up a new one.*
Have you ever been turned down by someone you loved?

*Clever smiled watching the water in the distance. It was always such a comfort to be able to relax with Hikaru like this. When he mentions turned down by love, she looks a little sad.*

Well, to begin with, I'm sorry. Honestly...I've just been through something like that for the fist time...very recently...and I'm trying to deal with it...and I'm trying to be myself, but myself is someone who acts a certain way that is probably bad for someone in my current position, er...
*He stopped for a moment, realizing he was making little sense, even to himself. He tries to think of a new way to say this and continues on.*
...what I mean is, how do you know when you are ready to look at someone else?

*Keira comes trotting down the stairs with a big smile on her face, she went to go slip on her shoes and while she just put on the right shoe, she starts to feel off balanced and falls flat on her a***

*Clever kindly declines the jacket with a wave of her hand.*
"No thanks.. I don't want you getting cold."
*Her thoughts drifted for a second, thinking of the time she was declined. It wasn't usual circumstances at all, and explaining the story would be hard. Clever placed her head on his shoulder.*
"You must always be yourself 'ikaru. Even if some don't like it, their will be those who do.
You never really know when you are ready.. just one day it doesn't 'urt so much and you know everything will be ok. You see someone and it just will feel right. I don't know if that 'elps any.."
*It was strange giving someone advice, she was usually the one to receive it. She felt good knowing that Hikaru would ask her for advice, it was nice to feel trusted.*

*Keira sighs and decides she is going to go tend to her boat. She opens the door and starts to walk forward, but stops almost walking over Hikaru and Clever*

*Keira winks and heads to the boasthouse to tend to her boat*

Silly, but alright, if you insist.*
*He slipped his jacket back on, even though he wasn't cold. If he saw Clever getting colder, he would just have to warm her up some other way. He felt her head on his shoulders and he didn't resist this. He listened to her words silently. He nodded as she finished speaking, this made sense to him.*
I see...I hope that day comes soon, heh. I think it is a little different for me though, I can see, I just can't feel yet. As for being myself...that might get me into trouble in these matters, but I'm working on that...I don't know why, but I want you to know that...
*He paused, considering this, when Keira comes outside and almost steps on them. He turns around to see it is her and he smiles. He was glad to see that she didn't seem upset by him talking to Clever. He watched her walk away towards the boathouse and wondered what he could feel about Keira, Just as he said, he could see her fine, it was feeling that he wasn't sure of.*

Zacara noticed the building off in the distance. Finally she thought, a place to rest. She hadn't realized that when she started off on her little treak that it would end up being a lot longer then just a few minutes. The minute the air touched her face, she couldn't help but keep walking after those few tell tell minutes, that now seemed so long ago. Where she was going in the first place she didn't really know, but now at least she had a small destination. Heading towards the door now she knocked and then opened it quietly, peeking inside.

*The night had pressed on for hours and now it was pushing into the calm time of night. A young man found his way along the shoreline, letting the water and the stars guide him. He wasn't completely sure of where he needed to go, but he felt like he was getting closer. The pale moonlight hit his hair as he walked, making it look like a peaceful orb. He felt a gust of wind blow against his skin, but he was not cold. He spotted at light ahead, but it seemed to hover over the water. As he got closer he saw that it was a place for boats. He decided that would be a good enough place to sleep for the night, and it would be free. As he came close enough he saw that there was a small raft like boat but that was all. It was then that he heard the sound of steps coming towards him. He looked in the direction they came from and saw the tavern for the first time. It was impressive, but he would try his luck outside for tonight. He waited for the steps to come close enough to be seen, getting his body and mind ready for danger.*
*When whoever was to appear they would find a young man standing near the water with soft features. His body was slim and his height was average for someone of his age. His skin was light, his eyes were an ever changing gray, and his hair was a glistening shade that resembled various colors thrown together. He didn't appear threatening, but his appearance was a bit strange. He had an exotic look about him.*

*As the girl appoached Hikaru raised an eyebrow, he didn't recognize her. When she didn't seem to see himself or Clever he almost laughed. He watched her knock and peek inside. Softly, so has not to scare her, he called out.*

*Keira continues to walk towards her boat when she sees a silhouette turn towards her. She stops momentarily and examins the new person. She takes a few steps forward and cocks her head to the side. She hadn't seen this person before and wondered what he was sdoing around the tavern. She smiles a bit, but felt very cautious.*
Umm...can I help you?
*Kiera takes a few steps forward so that now the man could see what she looked like in the moonlight. Her dress looked even more of a lighter blue then it was and her eyes pierced through the night like an animal's eyes look when light is shown on them*

((xD Yeah for a second I was like so many new people, then I realized it was just all the old people with different avi's. It's all good though.^^ ))
Zacara nearly jumped as she heard the voices behind her, and so close to. It scared her just a little that she hadn't noticed people before, and swallowing hard she turned towards the voices direction, her eyes adjusting in the dark before she called back.
Um..hello? I was just...looking for a place to stay. Do you live here?
